Sun Cheng's transition to a new mechanical body was devoid of the anxiety that had accompanied the previous transfer when he entrusted his memory chip, a complete copy of his consciousness, to Atlas and watched as it was inserted into the core of his new mechanical body with the assistance of several doctors.

After ensuring everything was in order, Atlas informed him, "Master, all preparations are complete, we can begin!"

Sun Cheng nodded, signaling them to step back, then he approached the transfer setup.

Two years had already passed since he acquired the ability to traverse to the [Transformers Universe]. Including the time spent in the Real World, it had been over three and a half years since he gained this extraordinary power.

Throughout these long years, Sun Cheng had been relentlessly studying the essence of the miraculous adventure his body had undergone, both in the Real World and the [Transformers Universe]. Although he had only scratched the surface in understanding the full extent of his initial encounter, even this superficial knowledge had proven immensely beneficial.

The ever-expanding Spherical Space within him was a marvel in itself, but it was his other discovery that was truly groundbreaking: he confirmed that his consciousness was not confined to a single mechanical body.

Sun Cheng found that he could switch between multiple mechanical bodies, and even when one was destroyed, as long as there was another compatible mechanical body prepared within a certain range, his consciousness could immediately inhabit it.

However, since the transmission of consciousness could result in partial data loss due to various reasons, Sun Cheng had always treated this ability as a card held close to his chest.

He had played this card last year in Egypt when facing Lord Fallen, and again during his first private meeting with Optimus Prime, where they discussed the energy trade of the [Leadership Module].

As months passed, he honed this skill further, becoming more adept and familiar with its intricacies.

Cybertronians, those mechanical beings, possessed the unique ability to resurrect by activating their Spark in a new mechanical body, provided their memory chip remained intact.

This process, however, was not without risks, as the integration of the memory chip into a new mechanical body could cause unpredictable changes in personality upon awakening.

To mitigate such risks, Sun Cheng had conducted preliminary experiments. Recently, he spent considerable time at Base Two, focusing his efforts on the Requiem Blaster and his ability.

He concluded that it was impossible to instill any memories of the Real World into the memory chip.

Furthermore, when he was within a short range of an adapted mechanical body—no more than seventy meters apart—he could control two mechanical bodies simultaneously. However, the mechanical body under Sun Cheng's command lacked independent thought and required his primary body to execute cognitive functions.

He also discovered that the closer the distance, the more effortless the control over the other mechanical body became.

This also meant that within a sufficiently short distance, Sun Cheng could transfer his consciousness to another mechanical body with minimal loss.

Today was his trial run.

Taking a deep breath, Sun Cheng stood before his new mechanical body.

He had not expelled Atlas and the others from the lab, for even he was uncertain whether the experiment would proceed as smoothly as envisioned.

He extended a hand, touching the surface of his new mechanical body. Metallic joints emerged from his hand, adhering tightly to the mechanical body and infiltrating it like water.

Controlling his consciousness, Sun Cheng followed the connection from his current mechanical body to the new one, searching for its Core.

Upon locating the Core of the new mechanical body, he commenced the delicate process of transferring his consciousness into the new vessel.

The transformation began with a thought, and as Sun Cheng's consciousness started to cloud, he knew everything was still according to plan.

With the constant shift of awareness, the next moment brought a series of familiar notification tones echoing repeatedly in his mind.

"Core awakening successful… Initiating memory database linkage… Activating defense mechanisms… Loading combat systems…"

The cold, mechanical voice resonated in Sun Cheng's mind for a long stretch of time.

And with the emergence of these sounds, he also felt his originally muddled consciousness beginning to clarify.

"Did it work?"

Sun Cheng tried to control his body, and the next moment, some rather vague feedback signals were captured by his still groggy consciousness.

The fingers of his new mechanical body moved imperceptibly!

Undeterred, Sun Cheng continued to make efforts.

As he kept trying, more and more feedback information started to surface, and at the same time, the Core's processing speed surged rapidly.

Suppressing the excitement in his heart, Sun Cheng could feel the changes brought by this brand new mechanical body.

Stronger, more powerful, along with many changes that Sun Cheng had yet to understand.

As more feedback flooded in, the Core finally began its operation!

The moment Sun Cheng's consciousness could command the Core, he started to read the data of his newly acquired mechanical body.

Soon, the data feedback made him involuntarily gasp.

[Status: Excellent!]

...

Abruptly, Sun Cheng opened his eyes, feeling a surge of power continuously bursting forth from every part of his new mechanical body.

He clenched his fist, feeling a strength at least tenfold greater than before. Although he couldn’t yet maneuver it as naturally as one moves their limbs, his experience told him that after some time training, he would become accustomed to this transformation.

"Commander, congratulations on your successful transformation!"

Seeing Sun Cheng's successful transfer to the new mechanical body, Atlas and the others waiting nearby quickly came forward to congratulate him.

He simply waved his hand, "Remove the scaffold!"

His new mechanical body was secured on a scaffold. Although Sun Cheng could now easily break free with a little effort, this was his own laboratory, and he had no intention of causing damage.

Atlas and the others hurried forward, swiftly undoing the buckles and ropes that fastened him to the scaffold.

Sun Cheng, meanwhile, looked down at what used to be his previous mechanical body, now half-kneeling on the ground as if dead.
