Forerunner had been waiting on Terindad Island for over an hour when the message of battle cessation came from Ramjet's end. The island’s radar ceased to detect any further invading targets.

“Seventeen Invaders, aside from a Decepticon known as 'Elegy' who escaped, fifteen Vehicons were annihilated, and a Decepticon named 'Thundercracker' was struck by an electromagnetic paralyzing round and captured!”

“On our side, 24 Decepticon warriors fell in battle, and 9 sustained serious injuries…”

Forerunner quickly processed the received data. As his Core read the details of their own losses, his expression tensed slightly, but he did not dwell on it further.

Decepticon warriors were the first level in our combat professional system, valued for being simpler to cultivate and requiring fewer resources.

However, their combat strength was somewhat inferior, often requiring two fully armed Decepticon warriors to handle a single Vehicon.

Thus, it was common for Decepticon warriors to fall in battle.

“Understood. Take 'Thundercracker' back and detain him on the island. I’ve already reported the situation here to the commander. You should head to the medical center to have your wounds treated!”

Having ordered Accel to escort the captured 'Thundercracker' back to a sub-base for imprisonment, Forerunner promptly reported the recent invasion at the island to Sun Cheng.

When Sun Cheng received the message from Terindad Island, he was at Base Two, making final preparations for his new mechanical body replacement.

Yes, after nearly half a year of research, design, and manufacturing, his Decepticon engineers had finally crafted a brand-new mechanical body for Sun Cheng, tailored to his specifications.

In the central command center of Base Two, within a spacious laboratory nestled deep in an underground cavern, Sun Cheng was currently accompanied by Atlas and a few senior Decepticon engineers, inspecting his new mechanical body.

The spacious lab housed a towering steel giant gleaming with a silver-gray luster, standing proudly supported by several pedestals.

This mechanical behemoth, dwarfing Sun Cheng’s current Frenzy Body, stood nearly twelve meters tall. Its design shared a resemblance of fifty to sixty percent to Sun Cheng's existing mechanical body, seemingly just an enlarged version at first glance.

Yet standing before this new mechanical body, Sun Cheng knew it was entirely different from his current one.

It wasn’t an exaggeration to say that apart from a more ferocious face, four missile launchers equipped below the shoulders on the back, and some differences in the legs' construction, the whole seemed to be just a larger model of the 'jazz' mechanical body.

With an excited expression, Sun Cheng approached the towering giant in the workshop, eagerly extending his hand to touch its mechanical body.

The next moment, a stream of data swiftly appeared within his Core.

[Unnamed Mechanical Body Model!]

[Armor Main Materials: Systerm III Alloy.]

[Core: Level 5 Enhanced Warrior-Type Processing System.]

[Artificial Spark: 351,700/351,700.]

[Height: 11.72 meters.]

[Weight: 19.74 tons.]

[Auxiliary Power: 150,000/150,000.]

[Equipment: Back-mounted Missile Launcher2, Arm-mounted Close-Combat Missile Launcher4, 30mm Caliber Aviation Autocannon1, 57mm 20-Barrel Aviation Rocket Pod1, Improved Type III 120mm Plasma Cannon1, Requiem Blaster Storage System1, Enhanced Special Band Radar1, Stealth UAV2.]

[Status: Not Activated!]

The moment Sun Cheng's palm touched his newly acquired mechanical body, he initiated the scan function.

Because the mechanical body had not yet been activated, it didn’t require much effort to gather all the data about his new form, which he now fully grasped.

Sun Cheng was both satisfied and a bit regretful about his new mechanical body.

His satisfaction stemmed from the fact that both the materials used and the capabilities designed for this mechanical body exceeded his initial expectations for a Leader-class warrior's strength.

Once he switched to this new mechanical body and got accustomed to it, Sun Cheng could confidently wield the Requiem Blaster and hold his own in conflicts with veteran Leader-class warriors like Megatron and Optimus Prime.

Due to his limited knowledge of Leader-class warriors, he had spared no expense for his mechanical body, which cost a substantial sum.

The variety of rare metals and other materials consumed in the creation of the mechanical body were exorbitantly expensive, conservatively estimated to be worth at least tens of billions of dollars.

Many of the materials couldn't simply be purchased with money. For instance, to reinforce the system-type alloy of Sun Cheng’s new mechanical body, certain key elements added during its modification were so scarce in the Earth's crust—ranging from one-thousandth to four ten-thousandths of the abundance of iron—that collecting them was incredibly time-consuming.

He finally understood why, throughout the millions of years of Cybertron Planet's long history, only a handful of Leader-class warriors had emerged.

Without the backing of a powerful force, just collecting these materials was troublesome and difficult. Moreover, since the decline of the Council of Primes, the cybertron civilization had been at war almost incessantly.

Even senior commanders like Starscream and those of the Skytiger Legion, such as attack, were confined to ranks below Leader.

Not only the materials consumed in the creation of this new mechanical body bled Sun Cheng dry, but what truly pained his heart were the two fragments of the All Spark.

During his dealings with Optimus Prime, he had traded a vast amount of materials and resources for some [Leadership Module] energy, intending to use this miraculous power during the replacement of his mechanical body.

However, Sun Cheng slightly underestimated the energy needed to unlock the Requiem Blaster, and ultimately, not a bit of the [Leadership Module] energy was left.

Fortunately, the previous use of an All Spark fragment to create Hynix had provided him with some insight.

Worried that his lack of understanding of Leader-class warriors would render his new mechanical body completely incapable of competing with them, Sun Cheng later made the painful decision to use two precious All Spark fragments. He exhausted one fragment’s energy and perfectly embedded it within the artificial Spark of his new mechanical body.

The other, after also being drained of its energy, was embedded in the Core of the new mechanical body.

The reason for depleting the fragments' energy was Sun Cheng’s concern over potential complications.

After all, if the energy of the two All Spark fragments were just enough to accidentally awaken a self-consciousness in his newly prepared mechanical body, that would be a real problem.

He could accept the wasted resources, but if the awakened Decepticon became uncontrollable or even overthrew its master, Sun Cheng would suffer a significant loss.

Therefore, he had to be exceedingly cautious!
