The battle belonging to Accel was soon to commence.

Dumar Reef was not exactly in the path of the enemy's advance, but the deviation was only a few kilometers.

When the data on the enemy's route of advance observed from the rear was relayed back, Accel immediately made a decision.

"Enhance the Electromagnetic Spectrum!"

The Electromagnetic Spectrum is a cybertronian’s identity signature, as well as a special kind of electromagnetic fluctuation they inadvertently emit.

To draw an imperfect analogy, it's somewhat akin to the scent of a human from Earth, with every Decepticon and Autobot generating a unique Electromagnetic Spectrum upon birth.

Ordinarily, both Decepticons and Autobots would try to control and not release a strong Electromagnetic Spectrum, as doing so would make them detectable by various reconnaissance devices or attract their enemies.

However, there's a situation in which Decepticons and Autobots will actively strengthen and release a strong Electromagnetic Spectrum, and that is to issue a challenge for battle.

For the more hot-tempered cybertronians, whether Decepticon or Autobot, just capturing this signal nearby is a direct call to arms.

Accel was successful!

The invading Decepticons, who would have passed by Dumar Reef from several kilometers away and headed straight for Terindad Island, immediately changed their course and rushed towards them upon capturing the released Electromagnetic Spectrum.

"Prepare for battle!"

Although the data transmitted from the sub-base on Terindad Island had informed him that the enemy conservatively had at least three high-level warriors, and two of uncertain strength, potentially above the high-level warriors, Accel was not in the least bit flustered.

The Decepticon warriors who had come with him to the reef were more than forty strong—a force not to be underestimated.

Moreover, as a regular member at Base Two and occasionally performing special tasks in several countries under the control of Base Two in South America, Accel, because of his special relationship with the commander, had reaped more benefits after Forerunner and Thunder.

His new mechanical body was replaced a year ago and was the fourth high-level warrior after Forerunner, Thunder, and Swindle under Sun Cheng’s command.

In the year that followed, due to several commendable actions, he had received numerous awards that enhanced his own strength.

By now, Accel could be considered as one of the more formidable presences among the high-level warriors, in no way inferior to the past Thunder and Forerunner.

Moreover, the location was not far from Terindad Island and was under the protection of the island's defense systems.

Once the battle began, the firepower from the island could cover the reef directly.

Especially those Aerial Combat Robots, which would take only a few minutes to arrive here for support.

They did not have to wait long; with a series of towering water jets, seventeen Decepticons, detected by the underwater radar attempting to invade Terindad Island, didn’t even consider the thought of a greeting.

Leaping out of the sea, they immediately launched an attack with the weapons in their hands, targeting Accel and his comrades from tens of meters away.

"Call for fire support, Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs to blanket strike my area!"

Electromagnetic pulse weapons, ever since developed by Sun Cheng’s Decepticons, had performed impressively in various battles against Decepticons and Autobots.

To call these weapons the bane of cybertronians was not an exaggeration. As a result, Sun Cheng had given preferential support to further research in this field.

Within Base Two, three Decepticon engineers had been diligently tasked with the ongoing research and enhancement of electromagnetic pulse weaponry. Among the seven Decepticons who had initially risen to become senior engineers, one had been the chief responsible for electromagnetic pulse weaponry from the outset.

Thanks to a generous allocation of resources, Sun Cheng's division of electromagnetic pulse weaponry saw the emergence of updated and more powerful models or improved versions every few months.

Correspondingly, a significant amount of research effort had been poured into fields such as electromagnetic resistance and anti-radiation under his command, constantly upgrading them.

Now, nearly every combat-oriented Decepticon had been equipped with upgraded electromagnetic resistance devices within their mechanical bodies.

As a result, calling in remote firepower and launching Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs to blanket the combat zone, causing indiscriminate damage, had become a common tactic in the minds of the Decepticon commanders under Sun Cheng's command.

There was no hesitation in approving this audacious tactic.

Ramjet took the lead, wielding two short blades, immediately engaging in combat with three high-ranking Terrorcons.

With his current strength, dealing with Crankcase, Hightower, and Overload simultaneously was only slightly challenging for him.

Accel's combat experience was not extensive, but his fighting prowess surpassed that of these three Skytiger Legion-bred high-ranking Vehicons. As his combat experience continued to grow, he began to handle the situation with ease.

Accompanied by his Decepticon warriors, they immediately engaged the invading Decepticons.

Facing the Vehicons, Accel's Decepticon warriors quickly dispatched two or three of them, leveraging their numerical advantage and energy weapons.

However, Decepticon casualties soon began to mount as two unidentified leading Decepticons displayed terrifying combat abilities.

One of the Decepticons wielded two short spears and swung them ferociously. Almost every strike cleaved a Decepticon warrior's mechanical body in half.

This Decepticon showed no fear of being surrounded or having Decepticon warriors try to distance themselves from him and then using energy weapons to hunt him down. Every swing of his weapons claimed at least one Decepticon warrior.

When Decepticon warriors attempted to distance themselves, missiles would be launched from his arms, and two automatic rifles would appear on his shoulders, quickly and ruthlessly dispatching the Decepticon warriors attempting to encircle him.

"This guy is at least an Elite Warrior!" Accel muttered to himself, his attention briefly diverted.

The ease with which this Decepticon faction swiftly harvested the lives of Decepticon warriors indicated their formidable strength.

In contrast, the other unidentified Decepticon was no less skilled than the one wielding dual short spears.

Armed with a short firearm, this Decepticon fearlessly engaged in close combat. Every bullet he fired claimed the life of a Decepticon warrior. Through punches and kicks, he sent Decepticon warriors flying one after another, leaving them writhing in pain on the ground, rendered combat-ineffective.

After being knocked off balance by Crankcase, Accel cursed under his breath, "Another Elite Warrior!"

With the tide turning against them, Accel's Decepticon warriors suffered heavy losses.

At this moment, the howling missiles had reached the airspace above the reef zone.

The Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs were here!

This was only the first battle, at best, a mutual exploration of each other's strengths.
