Forerunner personally presided over the situation on the island!

As Invader drew closer to Trinidad Island, the images captured by various radars and detection devices deployed around the island became increasingly clear.

Inside the Central Main Control AI of the island's base, the previous judgment was proven correct.

As the various detection devices relayed images from the seabed and processed them, the identities of the seventeen Invaders were quickly confirmed—they were indeed Decepticons.

"Fifteen targets on the Electromagnetic Spectrum have been identified, with twelve of them being ordinary Vehicons and three being Terrorcons. The identities of the first two Decepticons remain unknown and are not in the database..."

During the mid-phase of the first Cybertron Civil War, the Skytiger Legion, known for their wild and fearless combat style, faced a severe crisis in the icy tundra.

When Megatron initially chose to overthrow the rule of Superior General Sentinel Prime and led the Skytiger Legion in rebellion, they caught the Autobots led by Sentinel Prime off guard, despite being a rebel faction within the military.

However, even the most elite of forces suffered significant losses as they conquered one Autobot-held military fortress, base, and city after another.

To address the shortage of troops, Megatron issued orders to the prominent scientists within the Skytiger Legion to conduct research. It was in this context that the Vehicons were born.

Regarding the Vehicons, it is said that Shockwave developed them after studying extensive experimental data on the Five-Faced Monster and then further refined them under the guidance of Starscream.

Though somewhat tragic, the Vehicons of the Skytiger Legion still served as templates, modeled after the passionate Decepticons who had willingly sacrificed themselves for the cause.

As a result, the cultivated Vehicons not only emitted similar Electromagnetic Spectrums but also bore nearly identical appearances.

After several encounters, Sun Cheng's team had already recorded data on over a hundred different Vehicons that had appeared on Earth, including their Electromagnetic Spectrums and profiles.

Therefore, on the Trinidad Island sub-base, a quick comparison of the captured invading Decepticons' appearances and Electromagnetic Spectrums confirmed the identities of most of them in an instant.

Two Underwater Unmanned Probes were destroyed, confirming that the targets approaching Trinidad Island were up to no good. Forerunner promptly ordered the deployment of Smart Mines in the nearby deep-sea areas!

Soon, thousands of Smart Mines were densely positioned in the waters surrounding Trinidad Island.

The seventeen invading Decepticons soon encountered the Smart Mines. These sea mines were equipped with the "Free Hunt" system developed by Decepticon engineers. It was a special system that could autonomously locate targets within a certain area and approach them after locking onto them.

The invading Decepticons swiftly entered the area where the Smart Mines were deployed and were targeted by the sea mines, which had initially drifted with the current. Guided by the "Free Hunt" system, the mines closed in rapidly.

Upon realizing the danger, some of the invading Decepticons took immediate action to destroy the sea mines.

Instantly, the shockwaves from the mine explosions were detected by the Decepticons on the island.

War was about to begin!

Decepticons were originally colonists from Quintessa who were cultivated as soldiers, built upon the foundation of ordinary Cybertronians. Their thirst for battle and their admiration for destruction had been deeply ingrained in them from their inception.

In a sense, they were pure war machines.

So, when Forerunner issued the order for the Decepticon warriors stationed on the island to assemble, hundreds of them quickly converged on the gathering point.

"We have detected Decepticon presence in the nearby waters!" Forerunner calmly reported and then raised the weapon in his hand. "This is war!"

The Decepticons in the assembly square fell silent for a moment, and then a tsunami of cheers erupted.

"War!"

"War!"

"War!"

Among this batch of new Decepticon warriors, not a single one showed fear.

At least not before they had experienced the brutal reality of war; led by instinct, they knew no fear.

And that was enough!

Yassen-class Attack Submarines, gliding in the nearby waters, rapidly launched torpedoes towards the target area.

Simultaneously, the Decepticon warriors began to execute previously drilled tactics—some entering combat positions established along the coastline, others starting to control heavy weapons on the island, waiting for the invading Decepticons to land.

Although Decepticons and Autobots could operate and even battle in the sea or seabed, the ocean floor presented a complex environment, compounded by the pressure of the deep sea.

Back at the Mariana Trench, to safeguard Megatron's remains, the Autobots dispatched dozens of high-ranking warriors and Elite Warriors. The battle there was fierce, with heavy losses on both sides.

They had to contend with the challenging undersea environment, battling under the immense pressure of the deep sea where full combat strength could not be fully exerted.

Moreover, the actual strength of the Decepticons on this island was somewhat inferior to that of the Vehicons.

Fortunately, this time they had an overwhelming numerical advantage.

Torpedoes from several Yassen-class Attack Submarines, hundreds of kilometers away, quickly exploded on the seabed in the nearby waters.

The columns of water and shockwaves from the explosions alerted many of Earth's powers constantly monitoring Terindad Island to the brewing problem.

Forerunner did not pay them any heed; his gaze was fixed intermittently in the direction of Accel and his forces.

The Invaders were closing in on their archipelago, and although Accel's soldiers had the advantage in numbers, they were significantly outmatched in strength.

Although Forerunner was eager to provide support, as the commander of the Terindad Island sub-base, his primary duty was to ensure the security of the entire island.

Therefore, until it was certain that there were no second or third waves of Invaders, he had to remain in place.

"Do not disappoint our Leader!"

Forerunner muttered to himself, looking towards Dumar Reef.

As a vanguard general under Sun Cheng and having closely followed and learned his thought process for a long time, Forerunner had an inkling of the bigger picture.

Sun Cheng was accelerating the cultivation of his Decepticons, hence, aside from the few stationed at the Base TwoCore area, more warriors had been dispatched to guard the more dangerous zones.

His intention was clear: he hoped to use the response to sudden crises and the accumulation of combat experience to decide who should be given priority for the next wave of evolutionary resources.

Terindad Island, a blatant target for Sun Cheng's faction, was bound to continuously attract the hostile gaze and focus of enemies.

Accel, left on the island, was clearly in a position to gain more opportunities and experience than those Decepticons assigned elsewhere.

"Survive, and you will certainly become the next Elite Warrior!"
