After a meticulous inspection, Ratchet quickly nodded at Shake, who was assisting him.

He exchanged glances with Jack and then turned his gaze to Optimus Prime.

"Leader, the awakening ceremony can begin!"

The newly prepared mechanical body for Bumblebee was strikingly different from his previous one.

Initially, the Autobot's Chief of Intelligence, Sneak, was targeted and nearly annihilated by the Decepticons during a mission. In response, Sentinel Prime immediately ordered the design and creation of a new mechanical body for Sneak. Simultaneously, he approved the blueprint of this new design, from which a batch of Autobot warriors, including Jazz, Bumblebee, and Baricade, was cultivated. These warriors were envisioned as the foundation to rebuild his loyal intelligence force.

However, due to the Autobots' disadvantaged position during the war, resources became increasingly scarce. As a result, only the former Chief of Intelligence, Sneak—who later became known as Prowl—attained the power of an Elite Warrior.

Subsequent Autobots based on Sneak's new mechanical blueprint were powerful, but each only possessed the strength of an advanced warrior. Bumblebee was the weakest among them. His mechanical body was fragile, lacking strength and heavy firepower. But for his promotion as Optimus Prime's deputy, and the resulting enhanced resources, he would have remained the least capable among his siblings.

Still, Bumblebee's original strength was considerably lacking. In terms of combat capabilities, he ranked near the bottom among the advanced warriors. However, his agility and keen senses allowed him to hold his own against most of them.

But now, Bumblebee's misfortune has become a blessing in disguise.

During the months of his disappearance, Optimus Prime deeply felt the absence of a reliable intelligence asset. What Bumblebee could achieve, the Cassettebots simply couldn't.

This realization strengthened Optimus Prime's desire to resurrect Bumblebee. In a previous deal with Frenzy over the [Leadership Module] energy, he had received enough materials to cultivate five Elite Warriors. Optimus Prime allocated a portion of these materials to Jack, tasking him with creating a new mechanical body for Bumblebee. Once Bumblebee adapts to this new body, he will possess the strength of an Elite Warrior.

Though he might still lag behind warriors like Ironhide, Sideswipe, and Drift, ranking at the lower end among the Elite Warriors, Bumblebee's primary role was never as a warrior. He is a spy, an expert in intelligence gathering. With the strength of an Elite Warrior, Bumblebee's missions would undoubtedly be safer and more effective.

After Optimus Prime's nod, Ratchet solemnly stepped forward, placing a hand on the forehead of Bumblebee's new mechanical body.

Unlike the Decepticons' crude methods of awakening, the Autobots view both life and death with reverence. Therefore, when awakening a comrade, they hold a simple yet solemn ceremony.

Ratchet recited the prayer, "The primal force watches over us. Today, we disturb eternal rest to awaken a warrior from his deep slumber. May your benevolent blessings protect him from harm and calamity."

He wasn't a professional cleric from the temple. After briefly reciting the prayer, he looked to Jack.

Jack nodded, moving to a machine in a corner of the lab and began making rapid adjustments. Following Ratchet's signal, Shake joined him in stepping back. The ambiance changed as Jack forcefully pulled a lever on the machine.

Crackling!

A brilliant blue arc of electricity shot out from a conical machine suspended above Bumblebee's mechanical body, striking him accurately.

"Creak… Crack…"

The instant Bumblebee was hit by the electrical arc, his body began to convulse violently. As his mechanical body scraped against the metallic ground, a sharp and grating noise resonated.

The power of a single electric arc was evidently insufficient. However, this had been anticipated by Jack and the others.

Almost immediately, another electrical arc was launched from the conical machine, plunging into Bumblebee's new mechanical body. Then a third, a fourth, and more arcs were continuously fired.

These electric arcs were a mimetic energy, created by the scientists of Jack's Autobot faction after lengthy experiments. They simulated the life energy within an Autobot's Spark.

This energy could, during the awakening process, most likely activate the Spark within the awakening individual's new mechanical body.

Once the Spark is ignited, it would transform and produce life energy continuously, supplying every part of the body.

By that stage, the awakening process would be largely successful.

Optimus Prime stood by, always ready. He had initially intended to use the [Leadership Module] energy to bypass this phase and directly awaken Bumblebee. However, due to an upcoming trade with Frenzy, he would need to expend as much as ten units of [Leadership Module] energy.

Though Jack had tried many methods, they could only replenish the [Leadership Module] with energy at an extremely low efficiency, producing only a minute amount of [Leadership Module] energy.

While these findings confirmed that the [Leadership Module] could be replenished, the current low conversion rate was deemed uneconomical for the energy-starved New Iron Fortress city. Thus, Jack and the others decided against using the [Leadership Module] to directly awaken Bumblebee.

The awakening process continued, with more and more electric arcs striking and merging into Bumblebee's new mechanical body.

Visible to the naked eye, some brilliant blue jumping arcs began to appear on his mechanical body. These arcs then gradually converged towards his chest, successfully igniting the now unprotected Spark within.

"We did it!"

Ratchet and Shake jubilantly bumped fists. The tense expression on Optimus Prime's face also relaxed, revealing a hint of a smile.

As the Autobots gathered around, Bumblebee's mechanical body trembled violently. The Spark in his chest burned even more intensely, and the surrounding blue arcs became increasingly blinding.

The Autobots also began to hear the wondrous gears that granted Cybertronians their transformative abilities start to activate within his mechanical body.

Finally, after an unknown number of electrical arcs entered Bumblebee's body, his tightly shut eyes suddenly snapped open. Two dazzling blue beams of light shot out from them.

With a muffled growl, Bumblebee abruptly stood up.

The wires connected to him broke apart one by one, with snapping electrical arcs echoing.

Bumblebee had returned!
