The island had recently seen the arrival of several troublesome individuals, prompting Sun Cheng to decide on leaving them hanging for a few days.

"What's actually going on? How did it come to be that these United States folks are storming over to me, demanding accountability?"

The thought of the team of American diplomats that had just come to the island caused Sun Cheng to frown deeply.

He didn't enjoy dealing with these "United States folks." They acted as though they were superior, each one behaving as if they were second only to God.

Their greed was insatiable, not to mention their boundless arrogance.

From its inception, the Black Market, whether under Sun Cheng or the Forerunners, had been vigorously suppressing these Americans.

This was why, over the past few months, the fallen nations of Old Europe were able to wield influence on Terindad Island.

Despite the contempt Sun Cheng and his associates had shown, these Americans still strutted around, dictating terms as if they had co-opted Terindad Island and it was now some overseas territory of theirs.

In Sun Cheng's view, the Americans' brazen attitude stemmed from the excessive concessions Optimus Prime made during their cooperation with the Autobots. Those concessions blurred the reality for these confused minds, filled with nothing but muddled thoughts.

It's true that the United States was the most powerful country on Earth, but if it came down to a fight with the cybertronians, just the Vehicons Legion cultivated by Starscream on the Moon would force all nations on Earth to consider whether to surrender or resort to nuclear weapons.

Setting aside the overwhelming physical advantages silicon-based life forms had over humans, the mere technology created since the dawn of Cybertron civilization was enough to overpower Earth.

Apart from nuclear weapons and a very few heavy, large-scale destructive arsenals, the standard weapons most equipped by Earth's nations couldn't even scratch an Autobot or Decepticon.

With a single order from Sun Cheng, an increasing amount of intelligence began to converge on Terindad Island.

He quickly sifted through tens of thousands of pieces of information to ascertain why the Americans had suddenly come knocking in such an accusatory manner.

"Hmm? The CIA has lost hundreds of intelligence agents in Brazil, Secret Country, and Bolivia in recent months, so they suspect that I've captured them?"

Understanding the truth, he could only shake his head in amusement and dismay. "It seems the Black Market's Base Two has been exposed after all. Just like Moscow and Beidou, the Americans probably suspect we are hiding in South America!"

The exposure of Base Two was still within Sun Cheng's acceptable limits.

Over the past year, several South American countries had experienced a peculiar boom in various aspects from politics to the economy. Anyone with a bit of sense could see the oddities behind this.

Moreover, Sun Cheng was aware that the two national powers that initially contacted him had almost traced the vine to the melon, finding their way into South American territory during the past year of collaboration.

According to the information sent back by infiltrators planted at the base, Moscow had nearly pinpointed Base Two's approximate location, with a deviation of no more than two hundred kilometers.

Therefore, he wasn't surprised that the Americans would deploy a multitude of spies and intelligence personnel within South American territory. What he hadn't expected was that CIA agents would end up sharpening the knives of his Decepticon spies.

Sun Cheng had just received intelligence from Mora, the future intelligence chief he was grooming. He had resigned from his original position as the head of the Bolivia Ministry of the Interior and taken charge of Bolivia's National Security Committee.

Bolivia's intelligence apparatus was initially insignificant, with only a handful of operatives.

However, now, this Bolivian National Security Committee had nearly been taken over by Decepticon Spies dispatched by Base Two.

Mora led a group of Spies, nurtured using the new humanoid Decepticon technology, honing their counter-espionage and intelligence-gathering skills within Bolivia and several other countries under the influence of Base Two.

As the world's largest intelligence agency, the CIA had developed tens of thousands of Spies and affiliates within South America, viewed as its backyard for over half a century, naturally making it the primary competitor for Mora and his team.

What left Sun Cheng with mixed emotions was the fact that they had even sent many of the captured Spies to the laboratories of Hades.

Shaking his head, he pushed the matter to the back of his mind.

Setting aside whether the United States had any evidence, even if they did, so what?

South America was now under his sphere of influence, and if they truly sought trouble, Sun Cheng wouldn’t mind teaching them another painful lesson.

"Calculating the time, the Forerunner should have begun transitioning to a new mechanical body..." he mused.

His thoughts quickly shifted back to Base Two, and Sun Cheng couldn’t help but think of the Forerunner.

Once the Forerunner had his new mechanical body, granting him combat power on par with Elite Warriors, a bit more training would make him fit for the role of a competent commander.

When that time came, he would continue to entrust the Black Market to him, as Sun Cheng also needed to withdraw promptly.

He planned to transport a batch of supplies to Mars and move on with the Decepticon engineers and Engineers once the Forerunner returned.

This time, Sun Cheng did not intend to stay on Mars. After delivering the supplies and subordinates, he would have to return to Earth.

Then, the issue with the Autobots needed serious consideration.

The esteemed Sentinel Prime, who had engaged in countless unsavory deals with Megatron behind the scenes, was a significant nuisance. The Autobots, with whom Sun Cheng had finally established contact, could be cut off because of him at any moment.

What was worse, if Soundwave and Frenzy's memories served right, Sentinel Prime's combat ability might not fall far short of the legendary Thirteen Primes.

This Superior General had, during the Civil War, suppressed Megatron and his forces through sheer personal combat prowess and was recognized as the strongest in Cybertron's post-mythic era.

Facing such a formidable leader, Sun Cheng was genuinely wary.

In the midst of these thoughts, a piercing alarm suddenly sounded, yanking him back to reality.

With a mental command, Sun Cheng connected to the island's command system set up by the Forerunner, checking the source of the alarm.

Seeing data from the Central Main Control AI indicating that the alarm was island-wide, he immediately grasped the severity of the situation.

He hastily got up and left the lounge, sprinting outside, while simultaneously contacting Thunder, who was in charge of the island's security.

"Thunder, what's the problem?"

"Master, we have a BIG problem!" Thunder's voice was unprecedentedly grave over the Communication Channel. "The anti-air radar detected hundreds of meteors falling rapidly from the sky, aiming right for Terindad Island!"

Sun Cheng froze for a moment, then understood.

"Immediately activate all island anti-air systems. Don't bother with warnings, fire missiles to intercept... Hynix, coordinate with the island's anti-air systems to target the assailants... Order the Ghost fleet to launch anti-air missiles... Arrange for all Humans on the island to take temporary shelter in the sub-bases... Notify all warriors on the island to prepare for battle!"
