Transformers Begin : Table of Content/Chapter List

It was as if he had just awoken from a dream!

As Sun Cheng opened his eyes once more, his consciousness had returned to the world of "Transformers Universe."

He lowered his gaze to his current mechanical body, and a faint furrow formed on his brow.

Reluctantly, he had to admit that his consciousness seemed to accept this Frenzy's Body more readily than his own human body in the Real World. When he had returned to the Real World not too long ago, it had taken him a day or two to readjust to his body, a longer period than on previous occasions. But now, his rejection of Mirage's Body lasted less than seven seconds.

Though it saved Sun Cheng considerable trouble, he couldn't shake off a sense of foreboding.

Regarding the situation with his own body, he had some inkling. Using the formidable computational power of Frenzy's Body during his spare time in the "Transformers Universe," Sun Cheng had delved into various fields of Earth's sciences from a logical decryption perspective.

His speculation led him to believe that his current situation was a result of his consciousness gradually strengthening for some reason, which allowed him to adapt more easily to Frenzy's Body with its powerful computational capabilities. When he returned to the Real World and attempted to use the frail human body once more, his consciousness evidently couldn't be fully unleashed through it. Hence, each return to the Real World necessitated a period of readjustment to his body.

"It seems like experimenting with body modifications can't be confined solely to the Real World... The resources I have in the Real World are a mere fraction of what's available here. South America is in such chaos that a few more prisoners going missing won't raise any eyebrows..."

With a growing sense of urgency, Sun Cheng cast aside some of the ethical boundaries he had been clinging to. He planned to order Yuri to secure a group of exceptionally dangerous prisoners from several South American countries' prison systems to assist Base Two in their experiments when he returned to Earth. As his real-world body was at stake, Sun Cheng also intended to assign a Decepticon engineer along with a team of Constructicons dedicated to this research.

Before his latest return, he had extracted 500 milliliters of his blood and collected some hair and saliva from his own body. Sun Cheng was confident that, given sufficient time, his Decepticon subordinates wouldn't disappoint him.

Even though his consciousness had accepted Frenzy's Body without strong rejection, Sun Cheng spent over a dozen hours alone, silently revisiting the experiences of his return to the Real World. Only after thoroughly contemplating and refining his new actions for his return to Earth did he leave the rest area he had prepared for himself.

Deep in thought, Sun Cheng made his way to the command center housing the Artificial Intelligence.

The command center of the Mars base would, in all likelihood, be located within the largest natural cave discovered underground.

This natural cavern spanned over 200,000 square meters, and with some minor renovations, its space could potentially expand by as much as thirty to forty percent, more than adequate for their needs.

Addressing the Artificial Intelligence, Sun Cheng issued a command, "Artificial Intelligence, retrieve the current weather data for Mars. Also, notify Adam and Prometheus to meet me at the command center."

"Understood, Commander. I have notified both individuals to proceed to the command center. Based on satellite observations and the data feedback, it is highly likely that a major storm has already formed. The estimated storm diameter exceeds 1400 kilometers, with a bearing of 25.71 degrees..."

Sun Cheng's core, after a brief calculation, immediately furrowed his brow.

"Is the storm headed straight for our base? The wind speed could reach over level 12, with atmospheric pressure nearing ten thousand newtons!"

"How long is the storm expected to last?"

"Based on data such as humidity and temperature differences, we estimate that the storm will pass through the area of our base in nine to thirteen hours, with a total duration of four to sixteen days..."

This highlighted the stark contrast between pseudo-Artificial Intelligence and the two true super Artificial Intelligences, Teletraan and Explorer 203, created by the Cybertron civilization. Not only did the former lack computational power, but it also lacked the unique thinking and creativity inherent to intelligent life.

Though Sun Cheng knew that the data collected from Mars, relying only on two exploration satellites, couldn't be considered highly accurate and comprehensive, if this were Teletraan or Explorer 203 handling it, they would use the current data to rapidly build models, make a series of predictions, and provide results that were almost indistinguishable from reality.

The current deviation was simply too significant.

However, he understood his own circumstances. Crafting a super Artificial Intelligence on Cybertron Planet was considerably more difficult than mastering the technology required to create an Elite Warrior from scratch.

Even at the pinnacle of the Cybertron civilization, such super Artificial Intelligences were considered unattainable by ordinary Cybertronians. Only certain government agencies, research institutions, extraterrestrial colonies, and a handful of corporations would create these super Artificial Intelligences, which possessed computational capabilities far surpassing those of Cybertronians and displayed exceptional intelligence.

In a short period, Sun Cheng's Base Two had managed to produce pseudo-Artificial Intelligence. These entities possessed high intelligence and seemed to develop an interest in various research fields under Sun Cheng's influence. It was true that the super Artificial Intelligences created by the Cybertron civilization, due to their intelligence that rivaled Cybertronians, could independently undertake and participate in dozens, even hundreds, of research projects as long as they were provided with tasks.

As for super Artificial Intelligence, Base Two still had many uncharted territories to conquer, unable to create genuine super Artificial Intelligence.

Sun Cheng was well aware of this fact, and given his personality and understanding of super Artificial Intelligence, he would be willing to invest billions or trillions of dollars if necessary.

"For now, we'll have to find other solutions. The next time I come, I might consider increasing the number of exploration satellites to over twenty!"

While contemplating this, Adam and Prometheus quickly arrived.

In their presence, Sun Cheng placed a batch of materials he had specifically collected for his return to the Real World, along with the materials he had brought from Earth in this world, in the still-unused command center.

"The storm is about to arrive, and I'll be returning to Earth shortly. After I leave, I'm entrusting everything here on Mars to both of you. Stick to the original plan, and within the next six months, I'll make time to deliver another batch of materials to you. I hope that when I return to Mars next time, I'll see real progress here!"

After giving detailed instructions, he observed the somewhat anxious yet excited expressions of Adam and Prometheus.

Taking advantage of the last moments of calm before the Mars storm, Sun Cheng once again boarded the Hope-class experimental spaceship and headed back to Earth.
