"The Medical Pod is well-made, but there are still many areas that need improvement!"

Initially, Sun Cheng had encountered technical bottlenecks in his research on Sleep Capsules in the real world. So, after his last return to the Transformers Universe, he handed over the relevant technology he had compiled to his Decepticon engineers and instructed them to continue their research and development.

This task, involving humans, was mostly out of the expertise of the Decepticon engineers within Base Two, who were more focused on the development of various mechanical devices and weapons. It ultimately fell into the hands of Hades.

Sun Cheng had given him this name purely for amusement, but he had not expected Hades to develop a strong interest in carbon-based life forms.

The Central Main Control AI of Base Two, known as Teletraan, stored various disciplines of knowledge created by humans on Earth. Most Decepticon engineers only shared a portion of Earth's civilization's knowledge related to mechanical devices, space, and military industries from Teletraan.

However, Hades was unique in his dedication to studying various knowledge related to carbon-based life, from biology to botany. It was said that he had even undertaken studies in medical knowledge from Earth specifically for researching the Medical Pod. Nowadays, he was becoming more and more fitting of his name; at least for some prisoners in South America, he was seen as the god of the underworld.

In the course of his research, Hades needed a substantial amount of research materials. While it was relatively easier to obtain materials related to flora and fauna, experiments involving humans had some restrictions that Sun Cheng still respected to a certain extent. This was why Yuri had to painstakingly select and deliver prisoners with heinous crimes from some South American prisons.

However, as the aversion reactions between the body and consciousness in the real world became more severe, Sun Cheng decided to be less restrictive in the future. The reason he had called Hades and two other Decepticon engineers was for this matter.

Of course, an excuse was still needed.

"Recently, some human politicians who have been cooperating with us are highly interested in the Decepticons' long lifespan and powerful physical attributes. My understanding of carbon-based life is very limited. I spent some time acquiring data from humans. Study it and see if you can extract any useful technology from it. It will also be convenient for us to use as bargaining chips when dealing with humans in the future."

Sun Cheng handed a metal storage disk he had brought from the real world to Hades. It contained genetic-related technology he had acquired from the International Genetic Technology Corporation's servers on Nubra Island.

The technical data was not complete, which made it extremely challenging for him to deduce the advanced genetic technology that the International Genetic Technology Corporation possessed in the real world using these incomplete resources.

However, Sun Cheng's research capabilities were limited in the real world, but it was a different story in the Transformers Universe. Base Two now had over thirty Decepticon engineers and several hundred Constructicons. According to Earth's standards, each one of them was a top-tier researcher, and most of them could even establish their own schools of thought.

Sun Cheng believed that entrusting the task of deciphering the International Genetic Technology Corporation's genetic technology to his Decepticon engineers would be well within their capabilities.

Hades took the metal storage disk, holding it with two sharp fingers that resembled stilettos. At the same time, he inserted one of his thin, needle-like fingers into the storage disk.

It seemed that Decepticons liked using this violent method to read data, even though it didn't damage the storage disk. In the blink of an eye, Hades had digested the nearly two terabytes of fragmented and chaotic data within the metal storage disk.

"Very interesting stuff, but not complete!"

Hades showed genuine interest; he had always been deeply curious about carbon-based life forms. Just as humans were deeply concerned about the life forms of Cybertronians, he was equally fascinated by carbon-based life forms that were fundamentally vulnerable to various natural threats and incapable of self-defense.

So, when Sun Cheng handed him the research project, Hades didn't hesitate and accepted it without reservation.

"Master, I'm very interested in these things and would be happy to assist you. However, I've noticed that the data is incomplete. If we want to pursue further research, we'll need more materials."

Hades took the opportunity to make a request, which made Sun Cheng raise a slight eyebrow, but it was within his expectations.

Among all the Decepticon engineers at Base Two, only Hades had been subjected to a series of strict restrictions on his research.

After a brief pause, Sun Cheng finally nodded slightly in response to Hades' expectant and anxious gaze.

"I will relax some of the restrictions on your research. But remember, this is Earth, not our home planet, Cybertron. Given the threats from the Autobots and the Skytiger Legion, humans are one of the allies we must strive to win over."

"I'll inform Yuri that your research materials will be expanded from the original group of death row inmates to include all prisoners and faction members. However, the restrictions will not be completely lifted. The situation in some South American countries is still very chaotic, and I believe your research materials will be quite sufficient."

With this promise, Hades appeared satisfied.

The internal hierarchy of the Decepticons was strict, and while some Decepticons might engage in behind-the-scenes activities, such as embezzling a portion of the original materials during research or forming their own small groups, no Decepticon dared to challenge Sun Cheng's authority as of now. He had risen from an inconspicuous cannon fodder awakening to create such a massive force almost from scratch.

Perhaps even Sun Cheng himself was unaware, but he held a formidable reputation among his subordinates.

At least, no Decepticon dared to challenge his authority until he showed signs of weakness or incompetence.

After giving further instructions and expressing his emphasis on this research in front of Hades and the other three Decepticon engineers, he waved them off.

Entering the base directly, Thunder had been waiting in a lounge for quite some time.

Before Sun Cheng's planned departure for Mars, he had officially appointed Thunder to replace Forerunner as his deputy officer. Thunder was a capable warrior, although he excelled in combat rather than narration. Nevertheless, he could still handle recording and recounting various events when necessary.

"Master, you're back!"

Thunder bowed slightly in respect. During Sun Cheng's absence at the Mars base, Thunder had remained at Base Two, following the orders Sun Cheng had left behind to record and observe everything that occurred.

Sun Cheng took a seat on an alloy chair in the lounge, calmly gazing at Thunder. "Tell me what happened during my absence on Earth."

"Yes."

Thunder wasn't one to speak at length, and he quickly summarized everything that had happened over the past two months on Earth, including events involving various human nations, Autobots, the Black Market, and all matters related to Base Two.

Sun Cheng didn't interrupt him and listened carefully to the summary. It wasn't until Thunder finished speaking, and the only sound in the lounge was the faint metallic clinking of Thunder's fingers tapping on the alloy chair's armrest that Sun Cheng asked in detail, "Have there been any new Autobots arriving on Earth? Can you confirm their identities?"
