Not long ago, during the week he spent back in Subei Hometown, Revenge had also detected personnel guarding Ye Qi's parents around his hometown.

Sun Cheng took a seat in the vehicle, and in front of the two front seats was a long, slender display screen that showed several different-sized maps.

"Come aboard!" Lin Meng nodded enthusiastically and took her place in the passenger seat.

"Safeguard, let the patrol car take us for a spin in this subbase," Sun Cheng ordered.

Though there was no verbal response, the intelligent patrol car they were sitting in began moving, proceeding at a slow pace of about ten kilometers per hour.

As they embarked on their tour, Sun Cheng explained the layout of the base on the island to Lin Meng. With the acquisition of the Hope-class experimental spaceship and the small spaceship obtained from the Hunter Civilization, which had been used to transport Iron Blood soldiers, he had decided not to store them in the Spherical Space but to keep them on Earth. This made it convenient for travel between Xia Country and Base Three, thousands of miles away.

As his most valued future assistant, Sun Cheng was indeed contemplating granting her more authority, such as allowing her to use the spaceship for emergencies, traveling between Xia Country and Base Three.

The base on Nubra Island had taken over and modified the island's original drainage system for the sake of concealment. Therefore, many of the base's passages were constructed within circular underground tunnels that served dual purposes.

While passing through a section covered in lush moss and a damp, musty odor, Lin Meng covered her nose and mouth.

Sun Cheng didn't seem to mind, but when the patrol car reached an intersection ahead, he suddenly spoke, "Turn left!"

From there, the patrol car never returned to the area they had just passed; instead, it continued straight and brought Lin Meng to her resting place.

This was because only Sun Cheng knew that after the completion of the subbase on Nubra Island, it had been assigned two primary tasks.

The first task was to manufacture various mechanical devices and components, most of which would eventually be shipped back to Xia Country for trade with the Xia Country Government. A small portion would be stored in the Spherical Space and transported to the Transformers Universe to fill their production gaps.

In addition to this, the island had also embarked on a new technological experiment at Sun Cheng's request—genetic gene technology reconstruction.

Nubra Island had previously been planned as a dinosaur park by the International Genetic Technology Corporation, a United States corporation that possessed highly unscientific but extremely advanced genetic technology. Surprisingly, they could extract dinosaur DNA from a mosquito trapped in amber that had coincidentally fed on dinosaur blood millions of years ago and then reverse-engineer the complete genetic sequence.

During his initial visit to Nubra Island, Sun Cheng had copied the server of the island's International Genetic Technology Corporation. However, since Nubra Island wasn't their primary technical center, the data stored on the island's server, although containing valuable information, was limited.

Upon returning to the Real World this time, he had brought back a pseudo-Artificial Intelligence produced by Base Two in the Transformers Universe. Currently, this pseudo-Artificial Intelligence had computing power far surpassing all pseudo-AIs on Earth. Besides managing all of the island's facilities on a daily basis, it dedicated most of its computing power to Sun Cheng's work on refining the data obtained from the International Genetic Technology Corporation's server and reconstructing genetic gene technology.

The laboratory they were approaching, which Sun Cheng had deliberately avoided earlier and turned right to reach, was operating under the management of this Artificial Intelligence. There, they were using certain animals to verify the genetic gene technology.
