"Master, the Spaceship has been thoroughly inspected, and no issues were found."

As Atlas concluded his inspection of the Hope-class Spaceship and respectfully approached Sun Cheng, his thoughts finally returned from the distant world of Mars.

Sun Cheng nodded slightly, then walked directly towards the Hope-class Spaceship. He didn't place complete trust in Atlas's inspection alone.

It was this cautious approach that had allowed Sun Cheng to navigate countless crises within the Transformers Universe.

As he stood before the Hope-class Spaceship, he extended a hand, gently touching the surface of the Spaceship's hull. In the next moment, numerous translucent appendages, resembling liquid tendrils, extended outward from Sun Cheng's mechanical body, strangely "penetrating" the spaceship's sturdy outer shell.

The data from this Spaceship immediately transformed into a pile of binary code, composed of 0s and 1s, appearing one by one in his Core.

After thoroughly checking all the information about the entire Spaceship, Sun Cheng withdrew his hand from the Spaceship's surface.

"No issues! We'll refuel with energy liquid, and then proceed with the Mars landing!"

Looking at this small Spaceship, ready to fly to Mars as soon as it was refueled, Sun Cheng was very satisfied.

He had no intention of conducting a series of tests because there was simply no need. Even if something went wrong in outer space, Sun Cheng was not worried. Cybertronians possessed the ability to roam the universe with their mechanical bodies.

However, except in special circumstances, such as when there were no Spaceships available or in emergencies, few cybertronians chose to travel through the cosmos solely with their mechanical bodies.

The reason cybertronians could roam the universe with just their mechanical bodies was primarily due to the fact that their mechanical bodies had a high melting point and were corrosion-resistant, making them impervious to smaller meteorites. So when needed, cybertronians could expend a large amount of energy from their Sparks in an instant, accelerating themselves to speeds that surpassed the gravitational constraints of planets, allowing them to roam in space.

Sun Cheng's current mechanical body was more than capable of interstellar travel, which was why he wasn't concerned about the Hope-class Spaceship landing on Mars without testing, potentially causing accidents.

However, even though cybertronians had the ability to roam the universe, it was generally better to travel by Spaceship. Firstly, there were numerous unknown risks in space. Even during the time of the Council of Primes, the earliest Pathfinders who relied on the powerful mechanical bodies of cybertronians for interstellar travel had encountered all sorts of unfortunate fates. Secondly, the vast majority of cybertronians did not have enough energy within their Sparks to support long-distance interstellar travel.

Of course, the most important reason Sun Cheng ultimately gave up on traveling to Mars solely with his own body was that he found such a journey's speed to be unbearably slow. From Jazz's memory data, he saw how Jazz had followed Optimus Prime and others, taking more than ten times the time it would have taken a Spaceship to cover the same distance. Time was undoubtedly the most precious thing to Sun Cheng now.

What he couldn't tolerate the most was spending over a hundred days on a long-distance interstellar journey. If anything happened on Earth during this time, Sun Cheng wouldn't be able to provide timely assistance.

With Sun Cheng's command, Atlas quickly arranged for the Constructicons to add high-purity energy liquid to the experimental Hope-class Spaceship.

Accompanied by his Teletraan and Explorer 203 avatars, Sun Cheng went to the warehouse, retrieved various robots and supplies prepared in advance for the "Mars Exploration Project," and loaded them into the Spherical Space.

Inside the vast warehouse, rows of containers, varying in height from three to five meters, and of various sizes, were neatly stacked.

Sun Cheng's gaze swept across the area, and he began to load these containers into the Spherical Space, his satisfaction evident.

Beside him, the Teletraan-controlled robotic avatars continued to provide updates.

"As per your orders, we've prepared a total of 1,772 types of robots in advance, along with the critical equipment needed for assembly line production. Additionally, there are seventeen Sleep Pods for the Constructicons to use for temporary hibernation. It should be enough to establish a small base..."

These robots and supplies in the warehouse had been manufactured on Sun Cheng's command after he formulated the "Mars Exploration Project." He intended to transport them to Mars, where they would be sufficient to establish a small base. Later on, depending on the situation, Sun Cheng would send additional shipments to support the development of the base on Mars, which would then benefit Earth.

"Notify the selected group of Constructicons to come forward and enter the Sleep Pods for early hibernation..."

"Yes!"

The Hope-class experimental Spaceship couldn't accommodate too many individuals. It had only one cockpit, which could comfortably hold around three to four Decepticons simultaneously. However, for a more comfortable journey, it was best to have two Decepticons as the crew.

Sun Cheng had a deep interest in Mars and interstellar travel, and for the first trip to Mars, he claimed one of the positions. Alongside him, two Decepticon engineers who had recently been promoted from the Constructicons also joined the Spaceship. They were selected specifically to oversee the upcoming Mars base's construction. Sun Cheng was concerned whether a base located billions of kilometers away from Earth could be managed with just a dozen Constructicons, so he chose these two Decepticon engineers to ensure they could handle any unexpected issues that might arise.

As the construction of the Hope-class experimental Spaceship progressed, Sun Cheng's excitement continued to rise. He could hardly contain himself, and with his urging and commands, it took a very short time to load all seventeen Sleep Pods, including those for the Constructicons, into the Spherical Space.

At the same time, the two Decepticon engineers, under the guidance of Atlas and Teletraan, urgently updated their databases, adding more new technologies and branches of science.

After completing all these preparations, Sun Cheng, accompanied by the two newly promoted Decepticon engineers, boarded the fully prepared Spaceship.

"Master, would you like us to pilot the Spaceship?"

The Hope-class experimental Spaceship had no extra space inside, only a single cockpit. Although it was not spacious, it was still adequate for the three Decepticons.

"I'll handle the piloting."

Sun Cheng was not a novice when it came to Spaceships. He had obtained a Spaceship from the Hunter Civilization before and had even used it several times in the Real World, gaining some experience. This Hope-class experimental Spaceship was also equipped with a pseudo-Artificial Intelligence system, capable of almost fully autonomous piloting, similar to the New World Explorer. The presence of a pilot was mainly for dealing with unforeseen circumstances that might occur during interstellar travel, such as meteorites or Spaceship malfunctions.

With his two Decepticon engineers settling into their co-pilot seats, Sun Cheng took the main pilot's seat, lightly tapping his fingers on the metallic chair, awakening the Spaceship's central control Artificial Intelligence.

"Hope-class, activate the optical stealth device... Destination: Mars... Departure..."
