After more than twenty days of meticulous component manufacturing, the small spaceship designed by Sun Cheng himself was finally entering its final assembly stage. This happened a little over half a month after his return from the newly-reclaimed Iron Fortress city.

Upon receiving the notification, Sun Cheng personally made his way to a River Valley factory located six kilometers away from Base Two's central command center.

"Master, welcome to the assembly workshop for the Hope-class! We are in the final stages of assembly," announced the technician.

As he arrived, Atlas was overseeing the final assembly work personally within the workshop. Sun Cheng nodded in acknowledgement and silently observed the assembly process, not wanting to disrupt their work.

The assembly was being carried out by a team of fourteen Decepticon Constructicons. Inside the spacious workshop, robotic transporters continuously moved in and out, delivering components from dozens of different production facilities and stacking them in designated positions within the factory.

The fourteen Decepticon Constructicons worked tirelessly, efficiently assembling the components together with precision. At this moment, the extraordinary mechanical productivity of these beings was on full display.

Atlas, along with the fourteen Decepticon Constructicons and the surrounding hundreds of transport robots, were interconnected through a data network. Their cores constantly cross-referenced, ensuring each component was seamlessly integrated.

Some Constructicons effortlessly moved large parts weighing one to two tons.

Some Constructicons scanned with their eyes, recording real-time data of every installed component and the ship's structure.

Some Constructicons carefully embedded tiny chips, just a few centimeters in size, into critical equipment.

Some Constructicons transformed their hands and fingers into welding tools, emitting blue light as they swiftly fused disconnected parts together.

Despite the seemingly vast number of over a million components, it didn't take long for them to assemble everything into a complete spaceship. This was the current state of Base Two, possessing a formidable production and manufacturing capability with nearly thirty Decepticon engineers, hundreds of Constructicons, and over a hundred thousand various robots.

The assembly progressed quickly, and shortly after Sun Cheng's arrival at the workshop, a spaceship began to take shape.

The final design of the spaceship closely resembled Sun Cheng's original concept but had undergone some significant changes. It was an experimental spaceship born from the modifications of a Hunter Civilization small spaceship using technology from the cybertron civilization.

As it was conceived in anticipation of an impending war, it served as a transitional experimental spaceship. Neither Sun Cheng nor the Decepticon engineers who later modified it, including Teletraan and Explorer 203, upgraded its technology or tonnage.

This spaceship had a flat, streamlined design, resembling an isosceles right triangle and bearing some resemblance to the United States B-2 stealth bomber.

The final dimensions of the spaceship were as follows: length 27.51 meters, wingspan 32.3 meters, height 15.36 meters. The spaceship's final empty weight reached 94.25 tons, with a maximum takeoff weight of approximately 164 tons.

The main materials used in its construction included titanium-aluminum-manganese alloys and chromium alloys, among a dozen other metallic materials. These materials not only significantly reduced the weight but also greatly enhanced its resistance to high temperatures.

Regarding the power system, the Decepticon engineers had once again upgraded the originally designed engines.

It had been nearly a year since the modification of the engines on the Hunter Civilization Spaceship.

Over the past year, as they continued to participate in various manufacturing, design, and innovation projects, Sun Cheng's team of Decepticon engineers had evolved much faster than he had initially anticipated.

With their increasing knowledge and technological expertise, Atlas and his team now possessed the ability to further enhance the previously modified engines of the Hunter Civilization small spaceship.

Utilizing updated production and manufacturing techniques, combined with new scientific concepts, the improved engines were more powerful. With four engines working in tandem with a new propulsion system, the small spaceship's speed could reach 370 kilometers per second, reducing the travel time from Earth to Mars to approximately thirteen days.

The Hope-class spaceship was not a cargo vessel; it could transport a maximum of three to four Decepticons at a time and was not as large as Hynix-class ships.

For Sun Cheng and Base Two, this experimental spaceship was more than sufficient.

The final design of the Explorer-class Spaceship had already been revised, basic components were in production, and a larger assembly factory had begun construction.

If everything went smoothly as Sun Cheng had initially envisioned, it was estimated that in half a year, the Explorer-class spaceship would begin assembly, much like the Hope-class spaceship was doing now.

Standing patiently in the workshop, watching the small spaceship take shape bit by bit, Sun Cheng turned to two robots that had silently approached him.

"Teletraan, how are the robots I requested from the factory and the supplies from the warehouse coming along?"

The two robots that had quietly arrived by his side as he was fully engrossed in observing the spaceship's assembly were none other than Teletraan, the Central Main Control AI of Base Two, and its new companion, Explorer 203, the Central Main Control AI of the cybertron spaceship that had crashed on Earth.

Perhaps influenced by Teletraan, the last time Sun Cheng returned to Base Two and provided Atlas and his team with the design data for his spaceship, he had discovered Explorer 203. Much like Teletraan, he had asked the Decepticon engineers to help create a robot duplicate of himself.

With this duplicate, they could freely move about the base.

Initially, Sun Cheng had inquired with Teletraan about whether it wanted a mechanical body, to transform it into a true mechanical life form, given its high intelligence. However, Teletraan declined; the super Artificial Intelligence of the cybertronians appeared to have a highly sophisticated set of logical algorithms designed by its creators.

In their view, serving the cybertronians was their sole purpose.

The reason for having the engineers create a robot duplicate was solely for better service to Base Two.

Sun Cheng's cautious nature led him to regularly check Teletraan's database to observe this super-intelligent cybertron Artificial Intelligence, which he had acquired through an attack, and also to ensure that Atlas and his team weren't up to any mischief behind his back.

From his numerous inspections of Teletraan's database in the past, it had not deceived Sun Cheng.

Thus, within Base Two itself, his trust in Teletraan's actually exceeded that of Atlas and the Decepticon engineers who occasionally had their own agendas.

"All the robots have been manufactured and assembled, currently stored in Warehouse C-14. Other supplies are also fully prepared and ready for transport."

Sun Cheng smiled satisfactorily, then turned his gaze back to the Hope-class spaceship undergoing final checks. However, his thoughts couldn't help but wander to the fiery red planet located hundreds of millions of kilometers away from Earth.

"Mars, here I come!"
