Holding the tightly sealed lead box in his hand, Sun Cheng departed without looking back.

After walking a considerable distance down the corridor, he arrived in another laboratory.

Ever since Base Two had expanded outward, most of the factories and equipment that were originally cramped within the large cavern had been relocated outside. Later, engineers had reconstructed this cavern according to Decepticon aesthetics and needs, using reinforced concrete and alloys.

Now, this cavern had become the control center of Base Two, not only significantly enhancing its earthquake and bombing resistance but also increasing its space compared to before.

Although Sun Cheng usually spent most of his time away from Base Two, as the commander, there were more than a dozen laboratories reserved just for him within the facility.

Some of them were spacious, covering thousands of square meters, while others were smaller, perhaps only a couple of hundred square meters.

The laboratory he entered was not particularly large. It was spacious and devoid of any electronic devices, with thick lead plates lining the walls.

This was his personal laboratory for researching All Spark fragments. Now, it was the perfect place to verify the method he had recently obtained from Solus Prime to remove the restrictions on Requiem Blaster.

The heavy laboratory door closed quickly, and Sun Cheng, holding the sealed lead box, removed Requiem Blaster from the Spherical Space, casually thrusting the fiercely furious Primus weapon into the nearby ground.

He glanced down at the tightly sealed lead box in his hand, and his long, sharp fingernail lightly scratched the lid.

Crackling sounds of components rubbing against each other began to echo as air leaked from the sealed lead box.

Inside the box was not something else but the power contained in the three [Leadership modules] that Sun Cheng had exchanged from Optimus Prime not long ago.

Optimus Prime's resurrection and the realization of the incredible power within the [Leadership modules] during that time had made Sun Cheng aware of its extraordinary capabilities.

However, even though he coveted it, Sun Cheng had enough self-awareness not to attempt to snatch the [Leadership modules] from a peak-state Autobots Leader.

In the end, he had settled for trading for the power contained in three [Leadership modules], using considerable resources.

Until today, the power within these three [Leadership modules] had been securely locked in a lead box, kept in a corner of the Spherical Space, ready to be used when necessary.

The box's lid opened automatically, revealing three large, crystal-like sapphire gems inside.

Each of the three blue gems was the size of an adult human male's head, although Sun Cheng used Frenzy's body in the Transformers Universe. So, from his current perspective, the gems were not much larger than his own fingers.

These three sapphire gems were the power contained in the three [Leadership modules] that Optimus Prime had traded with Sun Cheng.

This was a type of power that felt somewhat familiar yet extremely foreign!

To describe it with a somewhat contradictory phrase would be quite appropriate.

It felt familiar because the power within the [Leadership modules] was filled with a surging vitality, much like the source of life for Cybertronians—the Spark.

However, the reason Sun Cheng found it foreign was that he had searched through Skyfire's memory banks and couldn't find any energy that could cleanse decay and transform it into life, as the energy within the [Leadership modules] could.

After confirming the power within the three gems, there was a moment when he almost couldn't suppress the urge in his heart to gather all his subordinates and do whatever it took to snatch the [Leadership modules] from Optimus Prime.

"Solus Prime's words may not all be true, but a Primus weapon is worth using a portion of the energy from a [Leadership module] to test!"

Carefully taking one of the blue gems from the lead box, Sun Cheng was unsure how Optimus Prime had sealed the energy from the [Leadership module] within the gem, but when he had met with the Autobots earlier, he had encountered the Autobots' camp's great scientist—Jack.

Jack was a scientist with a reputation not much lower than Starscream or Shockwave, so he was probably responsible for it.

The exterior of the sapphire gem was covered by a layer of something similar to tempered glass—it could be damaged but wasn't that fragile.

Sun Cheng held the gem and brought it close to Requiem Blaster.

The outer shell of the sapphire gem couldn't completely isolate the energy within it. As Megatronus Prime's weapon, Requiem Blaster could draw energy from stars, and it was evidently very sensitive to energy.

As soon as the energy from the [Leadership module] approached, the gun began to shake violently, and a pulling force emanated from Requiem Blaster, targeting the gem in his hand.

Sun Cheng tightened his grip on the gem, preventing it from being sucked away by Requiem Blaster.

"You want it..."

Soon realizing that it couldn't extract the gem from his hand, Requiem Blaster's self-awareness began to emit an eager longing.

Although it was indistinct, Sun Cheng could still sense it clearly.

"It's working!"

Sun Cheng's eyes lit up as he felt Requiem Blaster's desire for the gem in his hand. He no longer clenched the gem tightly and allowed it to be drawn into Requiem Blaster with a snap.

"Snap!"

With a light sound, the moment Sun Cheng released his grip, the sapphire gem containing the Leadership module precisely collided with the barrel of Requiem Blaster. The unknown outer shell shattered upon impact, releasing a surging life-force energy.

At this moment, Requiem Blaster seemed to transform into a greedy child, voraciously absorbing the energy from the Leadership module.

A rapid influx of azure light enveloped it, and sparks of electricity even began to flicker around it.

Sun Cheng stood by, deeply interested, concentrating all his computational and sensing abilities on Requiem Blaster.

He could feel that the electromagnetic field emitted by Requiem Blaster was constantly strengthening, and the Leadership module's energy was indeed changing it.

The energy contained in a single gem was evidently not enough to satisfy Requiem Blaster. The gem's outer shell turned to fragments and fell to the ground.

As the surrounding azure light gradually faded away, Requiem Blaster's barrel started to violently quiver once more.

It seemed to have recognized Sun Cheng, its emotions, albeit blurry yet intense, continuously transmitted to him.

"More... still more..."

Although Sun Cheng felt a bit sorry, the changes in Requiem Blaster made him realize the potential of possessing a Primus weapon.

With this in mind, he no longer felt remorse and promptly opened the lead box, preparing to extract another Leadership module.

However, to his surprise, Requiem Blaster was even more eager than he was. With astonishing suction, the moment the lead box lid opened, it absorbed all the Leadership modules from the lead box and attached it to its barrel.

Accompanied by two familiar cracking sounds, a terrifying surge of energy burst forth. Requiem Blaster emitted joyful humming sounds, similar to a Behemoth greedily devouring the Leadership module.

The electromagnetic field enveloping Requiem Blaster expanded at an exponential rate, and Sun Cheng could no longer afford to feel sorry.

He quickly stuffed the lead box into the Spherical Space and stared intently at Requiem Blaster, concentrating all his computational and sensing abilities on it.

Time passed second by second, and the Leadership modules surrounding this Primus weapon rapidly diminished.

Finally, after an unknown amount of time had passed, as the Leadership modules surrounding its barrel disappeared completely, a series of eager yet joyful humming sounds echoed. Intricate patterns began to appear on Requiem Blaster's once plain barrel.

Sun Cheng grabbed hold of the Primus weapon. This time, Requiem Blaster didn't resist being held by him; it displayed remarkable obedience.

Dozens of joints resembling liquid metal rapidly shot out from his right hand and arm, enveloping the section of the barrel held in his palm.

As the continuously fed information was relayed to Sun Cheng's Core, his expression gradually transformed from excitement to excitement and elation...
