The Cassette Legion didn't disappoint Sun Cheng, and within days of their deal with Starscream, Terindad Island had attracted attention.

"Master, we've detected Lazerbeak within the island's alert zone..."

As the monitoring devices deployed on Terindad Island captured Lazerbeak's electromagnetic spectrum, Forerunner, who had been recalled by Sun Cheng from Base Two, immediately reported this discovery.

"Is it finally here?"

Sun Cheng's heart stirred, and for the first time, his calm facade displayed a hint of emotion.

Ever since Starscream proposed assassinating Soundwave, Sun Cheng had thought of utilizing Terindad Island and had begun preparations in advance.

It had taken more than a week in total, involving over twenty engineers and hundreds of various construction robots. At present, Terindad Island bore no resemblance to its former desolate volcanic state. Invading this maritime fortress, even for Starscream and Optimus Prime themselves, would require significant effort.

Without any hesitation, Sun Cheng issued an immediate order, "Alert the engineers; lock the Anti-air systems onto Lazerbeak and forcibly drive it out of our territory!"

Frenzy was a member of the Cassette Legion, so he understood the Legion's methods and the personalities of each member well after completely assimilating Frenzy's memories.

Lazerbeak was a cunning and cautious individual. Instead of gathering intelligence in dangerous situations, it usually infiltrated with its companions and used its interrogation and information-stealing skills to obtain crucial data. During the Cybertron Civil War, Frenzy had encountered Lazerbeak on several occasions. Whenever Lazerbeak was detected, Frenzy would casually fire a few shots to scare it away.

After receiving the order, Forerunner immediately put the plan into action. Lazerbeak's response did not disappoint them.

When the Anti-air systems locked onto Lazerbeak, and the engineers issued a warning for it to leave immediately, the bird-like transformer cautiously moved a bit closer to the island. However, as soon as two Anti-air missiles were launched into the air, it panicked and plunged into the sea. After sneaking for several kilometers underwater, it swiftly took to the sky and made a hasty retreat.

"All right, now we'll see if Soundwave falls for it and comes here in person!"

Regarding cooperation with Starscream, Sun Cheng didn't have strong reservations. Starscream had calculated him well; Soundwave was a significant threat not only to Starscream but also to Sun Cheng. Even though he had no doubt that Soundwave would try to double-cross him after their operation against Soundwave became known, Sun Cheng was prepared for that possibility.

However, upon closer examination, even if Megatron were to find out, Sun Cheng's situation wouldn't worsen any further than it is now.

Back when he had peered into the comatose Megatron deep within the Mariana Trench and was subsequently caught, he had already realized that when Megatron returned, he would undoubtedly become a target for settling scores.

On the contrary, if Sun Cheng were to cooperate with Starscream to eliminate Soundwave in advance, not only could they deprive Megatron of a formidable commander, but it would also buy him some more time for development.

Sun Cheng suspected that the cantankerous Starscream was probably looking forward to the spectacle of Sun Cheng being hunted worldwide by Megatron and Shockwave in the future.

So, based on his speculation, at least until Shockwave arrived, both Autobots and he would enjoy a brief period of peace.

Racha Island, the largest island in the Martin Vaz Archipelago, covered an area of just over four hundred thousand square meters.

This island was only about thirty kilometers away from Terindad Island and, administratively, fell under the jurisdiction of the State of Espírito Santo, just like Terindad Island.

What no one knew was that, on this seemingly inconspicuous island, at the bottom of a cliff on its southeastern shore, a team of Autobots was sitting in a renovated cave deep within.

"Leader, do you think we can trust Frenzy's words?"

Autobots Ironhide had a cigar in his mouth, leaning against the moss-covered mountainside. He wiped his weapon while speaking.

Optimus Prime was also cleaning his heavy sword, and he paused for a moment when he heard the question. "I don't know, but I believe we can!"

Inside the cave, accompanying Optimus Prime, fifteen Autobots had secretly arrived here two days ago, hiding in this Coastal Cavern. All of them were the bravest and most skilled warriors.

Although Optimus Prime didn't think Frenzy, with whom they had just reached an agreement and done business, would betray them, the previous attempt on their lives by Starscream and his group had made the young Autobot leader thoroughly prepared this time.

Ironhide, who had been dispatched to select a suitable location for the new Iron Fortress city but was now recalled, the just-released Elite Warriors Sideswipe, Triple Changers Drift, Ratchet, Bumblebee, and others who were part of the elite Autobots forces on Earth—all had gathered here.

With Optimus Prime's current strength and this group of Elite Warriors, he believed that even if Starscream attempted an operation of the same scale again, he wouldn't succeed.
