"Do you think I've saved Optimus Prime's life?"

Sun Cheng, wielding a silvery-gray spear, stood atop the unnamed pyramid, gazing into the southern night sky.

In his grasp was the Requiem Blaster, a legendary weapon once wielded by Megatronus Prime, one of the Thirteen Primes of Cybertron.

This massive silvery-gray spear measured over eight meters in length and weighed 5.27 tons. Crafted from an unknown metal, it was adorned with intricate patterns etched along its length.

Once the weapon of Megatronus Prime, it had been activated with countermeasures after Megatronus's fall from grace, now transformed into a weapon of devouring.

As Sun Cheng held it, this artifact had awakened from its slumber, voraciously siphoning energy from within him.

"A true devouring weapon!"

In less than five minutes, during which Sun Cheng had held it twice, over one-third of his energy had been drained away. He was now certain that the weapon he had retrieved from the Stellar Extraction Tower was indeed the legendary artifact, the Requiem Blaster.

"No wonder Lord Fallen eventually discarded you."

A weapon that had its powers greatly diminished and continuously absorbed its owner's energy was utterly worthless for warriors like Lord Fallen. To Sun Cheng, it was best utilized as the Core of the Stellar Extraction Tower.

Having acquired the data he sought, Sun Cheng's thoughts prompted him to store the Requiem Blaster within his Spherical Space.

The Requiem Blaster seemed to possess a faint sense of self-awareness. When he first picked it up, Sun Cheng felt emotions emanating from the weapon, emotions like anger and resentment, as if the Requiem Blaster itself was furious at having been abandoned and harbored resentment toward its former master.

However, Sun Cheng had tested it and found that, as long as it wasn't in direct contact with an energy source or a mechanical lifeform, but instead with dormant robots, it wouldn't siphon energy from them.

This realization allowed him to confidently store the devouring weapon in his Spherical Space.

"Master, when do we evacuate?"

Thunder gazed into the distant sky. After several chaotic hours, the Cairo authorities had finally managed to discern the area that had been attacked from the multitude of alarms and warnings.

Consequently, a military helicopter had been dispatched from a nearby military base in northeastern Cairo to scout the situation at the unnamed pyramid.

Sun Cheng had also noticed the approaching helicopter but only gave it a brief glance before shifting his attention elsewhere.

"Evacuate? We can't."

Indeed, they couldn't evacuate. A formidable mechanical lifeform was now less than dozens of kilometers away from the pyramid.

When Sun Cheng had extracted the Requiem Blaster from the Stellar Extraction Tower's Core, he had sensed a strange connection forming between himself and the original owner of the weapon—Lord Fallen.

Sun Cheng perceived Lord Fallen's anger, as if Lord Fallen had never expected anyone on Earth to dare challenge his authority. Lord Fallen was furious.

He was en route, closing the distance between them, and with Lord Fallen's flying speed, which far exceeded ten times the speed of sound, he would reach them in the blink of an eye.

Ignoring the helicopter that was getting closer and closer, Sun Cheng calmly looked to the southern sky. His mood was extraordinarily tranquil at this moment.

"Excavator, have you experienced the Cybertron Civil War?" He suddenly spoke, addressing Excavator, who stood not far behind him, his eyes glowing red as he pondered something.

Excavator hesitated briefly but remained silent.

Sun Cheng neither blamed him nor pressed for an answer. Instead, he raised his head to gaze at the hazy night sky.

High above, at an altitude of ten kilometers, six drones resembling Global Hawks circled. Data was constantly being relayed to Sun Cheng, and his fingers made almost imperceptible gestures, pointing at the sandy ground beneath the pyramid several times, as time ticked away.

"Master..."

Thunder quickly detected a startling energy response. His face changed drastically, and he approached Sun Cheng. "A powerful Decepticon is approaching!"

He couldn't distinguish between the energy signatures of a Decepticon and Lord Fallen. In fact, Sun Cheng couldn't either because their electromagnetic fluctuations were equally violent and chaotic. If there were any differences, it was that Lord Fallen's was even more ferocious and chaotic.

"You should leave!" Sun Cheng calmly observed a peculiar aircraft in the distant sky. He gave Thunder and Excavator the order to evacuate.

Excavator was taken aback, and Thunder's reaction was even more intense. "Master, we should leave together!"

"Lord Fallen won't let me leave..."

Sun Cheng's tone grew even more indifferent. "Hurry, leave now, or you won't have a chance!"

Upon hearing the name Lord Fallen, Excavator leaped from the pyramid's apex, transformed mid-air, and landed beneath the pyramid in a few strides. It was only then that he noticed a dozen or so containers of various sizes that had appeared on the sandy ground beneath the pyramid at some point.

"Master..."

Thunder was about to argue further but was interrupted by Sun Cheng's dismissive gesture. "Go immediately and rendezvous with Forerunner!"

His voice had grown more solemn, tinged with impatience.

After a moment of silence, Thunder leaped into the air, transformed into his jet form, and flew in the direction of the Mediterranean Sea.

At the pyramid, only Sun Cheng remained, along with a helicopter hovering at an altitude of around four to five hundred meters. The helicopter's searchlight repeatedly illuminated the pyramid's peak, but it neither dared to approach nor make contact.

In the sky above, it was as if space itself distorted, and Lord Fallen had arrived at the Giza Plateau, closing in on the unnamed pyramid.

He stared at Sun Cheng, who stood expressionless atop the pyramid. Lord Fallen's face contorted grotesquely. "Traitor, how dare you take what belongs to me..."

"A powerful and chaotic electromagnetic fluctuation..."

Sun Cheng watched Lord Fallen, who was growing increasingly furious, with genuine interest. However, Lord Fallen's display of fury had left him rather impatient.

Only then did he slowly begin to speak. "You know, Lord Fallen..."

"For a long time now, I've been pondering a question. Megatron wants my life, and the Autobots could turn on me at any moment. There's no one in the Skytiger Legion I can trust. Even my own subordinates might betray me in battle. So, how can I protect myself on this planet?"

The metallic clinking sound was barely concealed in Sun Cheng's voice.

However, Lord Fallen merely glanced at the source of the sound—beneath the pyramid, where a dozen or so containers of varying sizes had mysteriously appeared.

"I've thought about it constantly... and I've finally found a solution."

"That solution is... whoever wants my life, I'll drag them down to hell with me!"

"So, Lord Fallen... are you prepared?"

With a calm gaze, Sun Cheng looked at Lord Fallen and suddenly grinned, revealing his teeth. "Would you like to accompany me and see what hell looks like?"
