Jordan's authorities had been feeling a sense of unease recently.

Out of nowhere, a battle had erupted in a mountainous region within their borders. The explosions had alarmed the residents of a nearby village, who had called the police.

Hours later, the police reluctantly dispatched a few officers to investigate after receiving the call.

However, they soon discovered with terror that the site of the explosion was littered with dead soldiers. To their astonishment, these soldiers, judging by their attire and weapons, were none other than a fully armed unit of American soldiers who had been eliminated within Jordan's borders.

This discovery sent shockwaves through the authorities. As a small country in the Middle East, Jordan had participated in several Middle Eastern conflicts decades ago, depleting its already meager resources.

In recent years, although the authorities had mostly aligned themselves with traditional Middle Eastern allies, they had mostly confined themselves to issuing condemnations.

This shift in attitude had gained recognition from Israel and the United States. In recent years, resources and investments had been pouring into this resource-poor, water-scarce country from Israel and the United States.

That's why the authorities were so alarmed. Once the overbearing United States suspected them of mischief, the consequences could be severe.

The best-case scenario would be extortion by the United States.

After the local police reported their discovery, authorities in the capital, Amman, were both terrified and relieved. Eventually, they decided not to conceal the incident and quickly dispatched a high-ranking National Security official to inform the highest-ranking American military officer stationed within Jordan's borders.

What surprised Amman even more was that it seemed like the American military already knew about the incident and, instead of being alarmed, reassured them and advised them not to continue investigating.

Soon after, the Fifth Fleet, which was originally stationed in Bahrain, set sail from the Persian Gulf to the Red Sea region.

Simultaneously, without notifying Amman, a group of fully armed American soldiers from bases in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar were rapidly deployed to American military bases within Jordan's borders.

It seemed that a heavy cloud of war had suddenly descended over Jordan.

At the same time, the Autobots were assembling.

Although Bumblebee had raised a few doubts, such as how Colonel Williams had obtained Michaela's phone number, Optimus Prime and the others had acknowledged Colonel Williams and Captain Robert during their brief cooperation with Sound Nest.

"Bumblebee, the United States Government is globally searching for Sam. As long as they investigate seriously, they will quickly discover that Michaela is missing along with Sam. Finding her phone number is not a difficult task for them," Ironhide said, his voice heavy.

Ironhide had become much quieter after Skids' death, and it affected him even more than Jazz's death had. After all, he had been operating with Skids and the others for over a year.

"Leader, as per your orders, we have gathered over thirty warriors..." Ironhide finally spoke after noticing Optimus Prime's gaze on him.

There were indeed many Autobots on Earth, but unlike the Decepticons, most civilians had very poor combat abilities.

Unlike the Decepticons, where some were in the military, and others were laborers, the latter being a multitude of Decepticon laborers.

"Prowl returned?" Optimus Prime asked Ironhide again. He didn't pursue the matter of Ironhide establishing a base on Earth without authorization.

In a sense, Optimus Prime had also had this idea for a long time. Compared to Cybertron, which was on the brink of death, Earth was much more beautiful.

When they first made contact with the United States Government after the battle in Las Vegas, Optimus Prime had proposed the idea of setting aside a piece of land on Earth for the Autobots to establish their own territory. He had even decided to transfer some limited technology to them.

Unfortunately, he had underestimated the United States' response. Perhaps, in the eyes of this overbearing superpower, the entire Earth was their sphere of influence.

So at the time, the United States Government had staunchly declared, "Earth belongs to Earthlings," effectively shutting down Optimus Prime's idea of establishing a safe haven on Earth.

As the leader of the Autobots, there were many things Optimus Prime knew would benefit the Autobots, but because of "political correctness" and some of his own moral values, he couldn't do or even think about them.

So Ironhide's decision to establish a base in Africa overnight, while it had led to accountability from the Autobots parliament afterward, was still a significant act of goodwill for many Autobots who had to wander around the Milky Way after the civil war's failure.

They had a home again.

After receiving Colonel Williams' message, Prowl had been dispatched in advance to scout the coordinates. He was one of the Autobots' best intelligence experts, and given Bumblebee's need to protect Sam and his girlfriend, making it impossible for him to leave, sending Prowl to investigate was the most suitable choice.

Ironhide shook his head. "Prowl is still within Jordan's borders. His last transmission was yesterday, and he hasn't reported back since."

Optimus Prime contemplated for a moment before speaking slowly, "Prowl can take care of himself. Since he hasn't sent any messages, it means the situation on that end hasn't completely deteriorated."

Prowl, the former head of Autobots' intelligence, even though his strength had significantly declined after his resurrection, was not to be underestimated by any Decepticon.

Soundwave had once set a trap to eliminate the much-weakened Prowl after his resurrection, and his plan had been meticulous.

But at the crucial moment, Prowl, relying on his vast experience, had sensed something was amiss and had managed to escape Soundwave's plot.

This was why Optimus Prime had confidence in him.

Ironhide nodded in agreement. He also had confidence in Prowl.

Three other warriors - Drift, whose temper was somewhat impatient, had been present during Prowl's last transmission. He spoke up, "Leader, Prowl reported yesterday that a unit of American soldiers was attacked by Decepticons and completely wiped out. According to his investigation, there are more and more Decepticons gathering in Jordan, and he even spotted Starscream's presence. Shouldn't we request the Aerialbots to expedite their arrival? According to the original plan, the Aerialbots are due to deliver the next batch of supplies to Earth in five days."

Optimus Prime was moved by Drift's words and was considering them when he suddenly received a remote communication. After reading it quickly, his face changed dramatically.

"It's too late!" His face was serious, and he looked at the gathering Autobots. In a solemn tone, he said, "Prowl just transmitted information. The Decepticons have already begun to assemble, and some of the Decepticons he encountered in Egypt have appeared within Jordan's borders. They are very likely to target the Leadership Module!"

Now, whether the location given by Colonel Williams had the Leadership Module or not was no longer important. What was crucial was that the Decepticons were gathering there, and so the Autobots needed to take action.
