Transformers Begin : Table of Content/Chapter List

XXX-----XXX-----XXX-----XXX

In the blink of an eye, Sun Cheng had been back in the Real World for over five months.

During these past five months, he had accomplished a lot and expanded various setups in the Real World.

Although he wanted to stay here a little longer, Sun Cheng knew that it was no longer necessary.

In the Real World, Base One and Base Three, especially Base Three even after completion, could only produce industrial-grade robots at best, and their production capacity was far from matching that of Transformers Universe's Base Two.

Because he couldn't bring Decepticon engineers to the Real World, even though Sun Cheng could now manufacture combat robots in the Real World, it was essentially just a form of assembly.

Many critical components needed to be pre-manufactured in Transformers Universe, and for now, Base One and Base Three in the Real World could only produce some less important parts.

"Ah Cheng, dinner's ready!"

The communicator in the study suddenly played Ye Qi's voice.

Sun Cheng lightly tapped the table twice, and Revenge immediately transformed back into a regular laptop computer.

He got up and left the study, heading to the dining room.

The villa Sun Cheng had purchased had its own separate dining room, adjacent to the kitchen, with an area of about thirty square meters. It wasn't far from the study, which was also on the ground floor.

After washing his hands in the bathroom, Sun Cheng arrived at the dining room, where Ye Qi had already set everything up.

Curry seemed to be a famous dish overseas, and Sun Cheng didn't pay much attention to it. However, Ye Qi often made various foreign dishes every now and then, and he had tried quite a few, although the experience wasn't always great.

He pulled out a chair and sat down, looking at the curry and rice in front of him. Despite having eaten curry many times, Sun Cheng could still tolerate the taste.

But this presentation, honestly, didn't whet his appetite.

"What's wrong? Did I put too little rice?"

"No!"

Sun Cheng saw Ye Qi looking at him and immediately dispelled some of the negative thoughts in his mind.

He shifted his gaze to Ye Qi and stopped looking at the curry on the plate. He scooped up a spoonful and put it in his mouth.

"Have you completed this month's live streaming task?"

He asked quietly as he chewed.

Ye Qi had been living with him for several months now, and during this time, Sun Cheng had learned a lot about the life of a streamer, including the fact that their streaming schedules weren't fixed and could be negotiated with the platform.

Also, Ye Qi didn't stream every day. Her contract with Laurel Network now required her to stream 150+30 hours per month, with the former being the mandatory monthly streaming duration and the latter being paid reward hours.

During his free time, Sun Cheng would occasionally watch Ye Qi's streams, and he knew that although she wasn't a top-tier streamer on the platform, she was still considered a first-tier streamer.

Her streaming hours were relatively long for a first-tier streamer, and she rarely took time off.

Sun Cheng had once asked her about it, and her response had surprised him. She had actually requested to increase her streaming hours.

It seemed that while the strict upbringing at home had discouraged her from pursuing a career in entertainment, she had still found a stage where she could showcase her talents.

Sun Cheng had been busy lately and hadn't paid much attention to Ye Qi's streams, which was why he asked about it now.

"For this month, I've already streamed for over 120 hours... In a few days, they said there's an offline event on the platform, so I might need to participate... My streaming hours might be extended by one or two hours in the coming days..."

Sun Cheng nodded. Ye Qi's schedule was quite disciplined. She usually streamed for six hours a day and would increase her streaming hours if needed.

Just as he was about to bring up the topic of him investing in Laurel Network, he saw Ye Qi pick up a bottle of mayonnaise and squeeze a lot of it into the curry, which she then ate.

As someone from northern Jiangsu, Sun Cheng had a preference for strong flavors. He liked salty and spicy foods, and the Huaiyang cuisine in South Capital suited his taste. However, he enjoyed Shandong, Sichuan, and Northeastern cuisine even more because of their bold flavors.

But the foreign dishes that Ye Qi occasionally learned from online videos were a real challenge for him. Most of these dishes were either too sour or too sweet, which he couldn't tolerate.

As for the curry, Ye Qi knew his taste and had bought a domestically made version with a spicy flavor. However, she liked to add various ingredients to her own curry, such as cheese, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Just watching her eat made Sun Cheng lose his appetite even more.

Without his appetite, the plate of otherwise delicious curry remained tasteless.

He finished the plate of curry as if it were wax, and although he didn't feel very full, he had no desire for seconds, especially because it was already evening.

"Want some more?"

Ye Qi looked at his empty plate and put down her spoon, ready to serve more.

Sun Cheng shook his head. "No, I'm going to bed early. I've been busy lately, and I haven't exercised for a few days. As for you, you'll be streaming for several more hours, so you should eat more."

Ye Qi had a naturally slim physique and couldn't gain weight. She also liked to do one or two hours of aerobic exercise in the afternoon, so she never put on any extra weight.

They had been living together for over ten years, so Ye Qi knew where he didn't like today's meal.

She smiled and asked, "What's wrong? Didn't like it today? I bought the spicy curry! Or do you think my cooking skills have declined?"

"You know I'm not used to this kind of food!"

Sun Cheng didn't hide it. He didn't mind trying foreign dishes occasionally, but if Ye Qi wanted to make them regularly, he would prefer to cook his own meals, which wouldn't take much time.

Ye Qi rolled her eyes at him but wasn't angry.

"I've already filled the bathtub with hot water in advance. It's at 40 degrees... Adjust it as you like..."

She checked the time on her watch and suddenly her expression changed. "Oh no, I'm running late!"

Lately, Ye Qi always started her streams at precisely 7:30 PM. Being a few minutes late would invite teasing from the viewers, so she quickly dug into her curry.

Sun Cheng frowned slightly but couldn't help himself. He got up and asked again, "Ye Qi, if you really enjoy streaming, why don't you negotiate for a more relaxed contract with Laurel Network? You could sing and dance for a few hours when you have free time, and you could also help me!"

He knew Ye Qi's personality; she had always been very stubborn since childhood. He didn't want to directly advise her to quit streaming.

Ye Qi took a few more bites. Her plate of curry and rice was smaller than Sun Cheng's and was soon finished.

After wiping her mouth with a wet tissue, she furrowed her brows and looked at Sun Cheng with a hint of annoyance. "I'm not a manager for the Corporation. How can I make money if I don't stream? Are you planning to support me for the rest of my life?"

She glared at Sun Cheng, but his response caught her off guard.

Because he nodded solemnly and said, "Yes, I will support you for the rest of your life."
