Sun Cheng was soon celebrating his decisive decision.

Shortly after he boarded the spaceship and arrived in Shen Cheng again, news of the super typhoon "Clarissa," which had grown to a Category 5 hurricane, attacking Central America, appeared on major domestic websites and television stations.

Costa Rica happened to be in the path of "Clarissa," causing widespread power outages, internet disruptions, countless trees uprooted, houses collapsing, and even cars flying onto trees over ten meters high. Fishing boats were swept into residential areas several kilometers away from the port.

There were no reports about "Nubra Island" yet, but judging from the online map of "Clarissa's" typhoon path, it didn't make a direct landfall on "Nubra Island." The situation on the island should be better.

However, "International Genetic Technology Corporation" was in trouble because although the typhoon didn't land on "Nubra Island," it passed directly over "Isla Sorna."

Judging from the disaster in Costa Rica, "Isla Sorna" was likely to be in even worse condition.

The "International Genetic Technology Corporation" had a significant presence on the island. "Isla Sorna" was not only a breeding center for dinosaurs but also the location of the most important biological genetic laboratory of the "International Genetic Technology Corporation."

The best-case scenario was that the "International Genetic Technology Corporation" had evacuated its personnel in time, avoiding casualties.

However, the fate of their facilities and industries on the island remained uncertain.

Sun Cheng booked a room for himself in a hotel in Shen Cheng, rested for a few hours, browsed various news online, and had dinner.

After nightfall, Sun Cheng took a taxi to the port. In a secluded corner, he changed into optical camouflage clothing and carefully placed two 14nm Photolithography Machines he had prepared onto the cargo ship that had already arrived at Shen Cheng port.

After completing all this, he returned to the hotel, and it was already past one in the morning.

After a quick wash, he lay down on the bed and soon fell asleep.

He woke up, and it was already past nine in the morning the next day.

He ordered breakfast by phone, and the hotel staff delivered a fairly substantial breakfast to his room. Sun Cheng didn't plan to stay in Shen Cheng for long, so he quickly dialed the contact number provided by the National Asset Management Bureau and Equipment Department during their previous meeting with the four of them.

"Beep..."

The phone rang only twice before it was quickly answered.

A deep male voice came from the other end, "Hello, may I ask who you're looking for?"

"I'm Sun Cheng," Sun Cheng replied straightforwardly. This wasn't the first time he had called this number after receiving it.

He had already called this number once when he was on the cargo ship heading to Manila. Since he was using his private phone, he believed they should recognize him on the other end.

"This time, I've received information that the two 14nm Photolithography Machines you ordered have arrived at the Shen Cheng port in Xia Country. Currently, the two Photolithography Machines are on the Philippine cargo ship, the Zanbatto, at Pier Four. The ship's crew is unaware of the cargo's details, so please provide me with a fax machine, and I will transmit the receipt and documentation."

There was silence on the other end of the phone for about ten seconds before Sun Cheng heard a response.

"Understood. Please wait a moment. I need to consult."

Then, after more than twenty seconds of waiting, he received another response, "xxxx-xxxxxxx, please fax the receipt and documentation to this number!"

"No problem!"

Sun Cheng could guess that the other side was trying to delay. In the age of technology, maintaining a conversation for a certain duration would allow surveillance personnel to pinpoint the location of the target.

He had no intention of concealing this because the handover of the two Photolithography Machines had to take place in Shen Cheng.

Sun Cheng could have chosen South Capital as the delivery location, but in the "Transformers Universe," he had dealings with high-ranking officials from several countries. He had long realized that politicians were a group of insecure old men and women.

It was easy to deduce that if the politicians in South Capital discovered that a foreign power could secretly transport 14nm Photolithography Machines, a high-tech device expressly banned for export to Xia, to their country's administrative center, there would be dire consequences. Sun Cheng would face endless scrutiny, investigations, and even the possibility of restricted personal freedom.

Sun Cheng had no qualms about interpreting human nature in the most pessimistic light; he was a firm believer in the doctrine of "human nature is inherently evil." If he were a decision-maker in Xia Country, he wouldn't tolerate an unknown power with exceptional influence and potential hidden within his country's borders, especially within the capital.

That's why Shen Cheng became a good choice. As Xia Country's largest seaport and an international metropolis, many foreign powers invested time and effort here. Behind the glamour, there was a mix of all sorts of interests.

One of the most notable examples was that one of the three important branches under the National Security Bureau was located in Shen Cheng.

Sun Cheng, as the public figurehead of "P.C.F." that he had created in Xia Country's Real World, was definitely required to be present for the handover of two cutting-edge devices worth billions of Xia Yuan.

He had no trustworthy individuals to assist him in Real World at the moment, so many tasks required his personal attention.

After hanging up the phone, Sun Cheng instructed Xiao Wu to inform Revenge. He sent the pre-prepared receipts and documents for the grain purchases made by the Corporation on the cargo ship to the designated fax machine.

Curiously, he roamed around Shen Cheng for a few hours until it was almost noon. Just as he was about to enjoy a simple lunch at a roadside restaurant on the Bund, Xiao Wu on the table next to him vibrated.

There was an incoming call!

And there was no displayed number!

Sun Cheng put down his chopsticks and picked up Xiao Wu's versatile smartphone, raising an eyebrow.

He knew that domestic telecom service providers offered hidden number services for certain government and military agencies.

Although he couldn't be certain who was contacting him, he had a pretty good idea.

He answered the call, and as expected, a voice he found somewhat familiar soon came from the other end.

"Mr. Sun, it's Wang Yuan. We've already arrived in Shen Cheng, and you should be here too. If it's convenient, let's meet up. I have some matters I'd like to discuss with you!"

"No problem!"

This was entirely within his expectations. He checked his location and said, "I'm on the Bund, at a small restaurant called 'Meiwei Xuan.' If you need me to take a taxi over, give me the address."

"Hehe, no need. I'll send a car to pick you up!"

"Alright, I'm at Meiwei Xuan on the Bund. See you in a bit."

"See you in a bit!"
