Forerunner was dispatched to the United States by Sun Cheng about half a month ago!

On the one hand, it was to establish contact with the Autobots and use their help to attract the Decepticons' attention. On the other hand, it was to investigate the information emitted from the All Spark fragments by Mirage and Atlas, and determine whether those coordinates-like numbers were authentic!

Forerunner did not disappoint, and he smoothly completed all the tasks.

Afterward, Sun Cheng asked him to continue staying in the United States to supervise the Autobots' actions.

And now, he received an urgent remote message, which naturally had something to do with the Autobots.

"Master, I captured the frequencies of Barricade and another Decepticon near the human boy Sam's residence!"

The information sent by Forerunner was brief, but his voice sounded somewhat tense.

It was understandable; facing a notorious veteran Decepticon warrior like Barricade, even Sun Cheng wouldn't dare to claim that he could easily overpower him. At least in terms of combat experience, they were no match for him.

"Barricade with another Decepticon?"

Sun Cheng was a bit puzzled.

He couldn't understand why the Decepticons would target Sam. His involvement with Sam and the Autobots was merely due to the special friendship between the United States boy and the Autobots.

Optimus Prime had assigned excellent warriors like Bumblebee to protect Sam and his girlfriend, and Sun Cheng knew it wasn't a careless decision.

In fact, the past few months had proven Sun Cheng's speculation to be correct. He had indeed used Sam to establish a fragile connection with the Autobots.

That's why he was now perplexed!

"Why would this villain show up near Sam? Doesn't he know that Bumblebee is protecting him?"

The grudges between Barricade and Bumblebee were no secret among the Autobots and Decepticons; Sun Cheng had heard some stories about it before.

Moreover, Frenzy, who was originally from the Decepticon intelligence agency Cassette Legion, had once stolen a part of Megatron's memories. Now Sun Cheng finally understood the entanglement between these two.

Many cybertronians who had experienced the civil war might think that Bumblebee was the most outstanding intelligence officer among the Autobots.

But few knew that the true head of the Autobots' intelligence agency wasn't Bumblebee; it was a veteran warrior known as "Sneak," who rarely appeared in public but was greatly feared by Soundwave.

Sneak had been around since the time of the old parliament on Cybertron. He had served as the highest-ranking officer in the Internal Security Forces, directly reporting to the Defense Force Commander Megatron. However, he was, in fact, a trusted confidant of Prime Sentinel Prime.

The development of Cybertron's history followed a path similar to the evolution of civilization on Earth. Since the beginning of civilization, there had been legends of the Thirteen Primes, who fought against the unknown destructor.

Later, during the Quintessan colonization period, it was Primus and his kin who first resisted the rule of the Quintessons.

Thus, it was said that only the Primus lineage with the blood of the Thirteen Primes could maintain nominal rule over Cybertron until the time of the old parliament.

Sentinel Prime was the head of the Primus royal family, directly descended from one of the Thirteen Primes, Precursor.

Despite displaying leadership qualities and leadership abilities befitting his status after reaching maturity, Sentinel Prime was still defeated by the will of the people and the progress of civilization.

During his early reign, Cybertron was divided by powerful nobles who defied his orders.

In the mid-reign of Sentinel Prime, there were even instances of open resistance from the nobles, refusing to obey royal commands.

This escalated to the point where "The Old Parliament," a "noble political institution" aiming to wrest power from the young king, was born.

The nobles greedily seized Sentinel Prime's power, and during this period, Cybertron's intelligence, civilization, and technology experienced rapid development. With the deliberate guidance of the nobles, ordinary Cybertronians began to question and distrust the so-called noble lineage of the royal family. The nobles took advantage of this and oppressed and even persecuted the Primus royal family.

Although Sentinel Prime was furious, the nobles controlled the "Old Parliament" and manipulated the public to oppose him and the royal family, limiting his power. The people's mistrust made Sneak's personality increasingly cold-blooded.

He was busy winning over the nobles and generals loyal to the royal family, supporting the development of Optimus Prime and the Academy of Sciences' power. At the same time, he reluctantly cooperated with the small-time thug, "Megatron," whom he looked down upon, and tacitly allowed this ambitious leader to gradually take control of the Defense Force.

Facing the relentless pressure from the nobles in the "Old Parliament," he even deliberately relinquished more power while instigating conflicts among the nobles and between the nobles and ordinary Cybertronians.

With the support of Prime Sentinel Prime and Megatron, Sneak gradually rose from an ordinary warrior to become the "highest-ranking officer of Cybertron's Internal Security Forces."

On Unification Day, when Prime Sentinel Prime announced that Cybertron would be ruled by Optimus Prime leading the Academy of Sciences and Megatron leading the Defense Force, the revolution on Cybertron began.

After the "Old Parliament" was finally overthrown, a brief period of joint rule by Prime Sentinel Prime and Megatron over Cybertron followed.

Unfortunately, the peace did not last long.

From the memories he had stolen from Megatron, Sun Cheng discovered a buried history.

As Megatron, who already controlled the majority of Cybertron's military forces, aged and became increasingly uncontrollable due to the loyalty of Shockwave, he started the General team's transformation. He transformed the soldiers who underwent this process into stronger and more courageous fighters, naming them "Decepticons," while actively suppressing Optimus Prime and the Academy of Sciences to seek higher positions and power.

Finally, conflict arose when Prime Sentinel Prime's increasing support for Optimus Prime as the next ruler of Cybertron became evident.

Starscream and Megatron meticulously planned an assassination. During Prime Sentinel Prime's visit to the Simfur temple, which housed the sacred artifact, the All Spark, a fully armed squad attacked the temple, and Megatron led his Decepticon army to launch the opening salvo of the Cybertron Civil War.

Sneak, loyal to Prime Sentinel Prime, was also a target for Megatron due to his possession of too many secrets. Like Prime Sentinel Prime and Optimus Prime, he was an immediate target for elimination.

However, unlike Prime Sentinel Prime, Sneak did not possess the same strength or luck as Optimus Prime. He fell victim to an assassination orchestrated by Starscream and Soundwave.

In the end, Sneak's remains were protected by the Defense Force officer Ironhide, who was ordered to participate in the battle, allowing them to be returned intact to Prime Sentinel Prime.

Eventually, Sneak was revived by Autobot scientists and given the name "Prowl." He followed Optimus Prime, analyzing intelligence and devising various tactical strategies.

It's worth mentioning that due to the civil war, Autobot scientists found it difficult to defend against Decepticons modified by Megatron and Shockwave. As a result, they also developed a program to cultivate and modify Autobot warriors.

Sneak, as the most outstanding warrior and intelligence officer among the Autobots, became the basis for creating a batch of excellent and powerful warriors, including Jazz, Barricade, Bumblebee, Phantom, and Hot Rod.

Therefore, in a sense, whether Baricade and Bumblebee were biological brothers or cousins, they were inevitably connected.

This also explained why Baricade was eager to kill Bumblebee, while Bumblebee was determined to defeat Baricade.

The former was driven by jealousy and dislike, while the latter acted out of honor and loyalty.

"...What is Starscream thinking? Doesn't he know that a clash between Baricade and Bumblebee will lead to an endless battle?"

Sun Cheng knew that Baricade was Starscream's subordinate, perhaps not a confidant, but one of the few he trusted enough to use.

Considering Starscream's intelligence and cunning, it was hard to believe that he was unaware of the consequences of letting Baricade encounter Bumblebee.

However, Forerunner sent him a message that Baricade was accompanied by another Decepticon and appeared near the location of the United States boy, Sam.

In an instant, despite Sun Cheng's numerous thoughts, he couldn't help but furrow his brow and ponder.

He genuinely couldn't understand what Starscream was thinking.

Was he seeking revenge for Megatron?

That seemed unlikely!

During the Battle of Las Vegas, it was true that Sam forcibly infused the All Spark into Megatron's chest, causing his spark to extinguish and the All Spark to fragment.

But Sam was just a weak human that they looked down upon; the true hatred should be directed towards the Autobots.

Besides, if Starscream really wanted revenge, he had plenty of opportunities in the past; why wait until now?

After all, in the months following the Battle of Las Vegas, hundreds of Autobots had already arrived on Earth in response to Optimus Prime's call, including formidable warriors like Sideswipe. They were more than capable of launching a small-scale conflict against the Decepticon army.

Now, any move involving Sam would trigger a response from Optimus Prime; he wouldn't simply stand by.

Sun Cheng had been suspecting that Starscream probably knew about Megatron's fake death; given his loyalty to Megatron, he would never take revenge on his behalf, and the same could be said for Soundwave and Shockwave.

As he was pondering this, his core jumped again. He had received an urgent transmission from Forerunner.

"Master, Baricade has been exposed... Bumblebee is on his trail, and they have left the city area where Sam lives... Another Decepticon has managed to evade Bumblebee's scanning and infiltrate Sam's home!"

Accompanying this urgent message were several images, and upon seeing the other Decepticon, Sun Cheng finally understood.

They were luring the tiger down the mountain!

Bumblebee had fallen for their trap!
