Repeatedly viewing the footage several times, Forerunner soon confirmed that he hadn't made a mistake.

In the images sent back from the third all-terrain reconnaissance vehicle, he clearly saw a symbol, an emblem that was exactly the same as the Decepticon symbol on his own body!

"...What's going on? Why would a Decepticon be hiding in a human museum?"

Being of the same faction, Forerunner wasn't too worried. He quickly realized that the Decepticon must be in a state of stasis due to some issue, otherwise, at such a close distance, he wouldn't have failed to detect the electromagnetic spectrum of the other Decepticon.

As for whether the Decepticon was dead, that thought never crossed his mind. Decepticons could only die under two circumstances: when the energy stored in their Spark was depleted, or due to severe injuries.

And no matter whether they died from the former or the latter, the deceased Decepticons would no longer be able to maintain their transformation form.

So, the Decepticon hidden in this museum, disguised as the Black Bird reconnaissance plane, must be in a state of stasis.

"Could it be that my master wants me to find him?"

Considering the vague instructions his master had given him, Forerunner's courage grew after realizing that the other Decepticon might be in stasis.

He controlled the four all-terrain reconnaissance vehicles to thoroughly capture images of the Black Bird.

After completing this task, Forerunner didn't rush to leave; instead, he continued to control the vehicles to inspect the remaining exhibition halls. After confirming that there were no other discoveries, he retrieved the reconnaissance vehicles through a museum ventilation window and then departed.

Every mechanical life born on Cybertron Planet utilized the characteristics of their race to accumulate sufficient knowledge and combat skills in the shortest possible time. Forerunner was no exception.

So he knew that awakening a Decepticon in stasis was not an easy task.

If the other Decepticon had entered stasis due to the depletion of Spark energy, it would be easy to solve by replenishing the necessary energy. It would be like charging a dead battery; the Decepticon would automatically wake up.

However, if the Decepticon had chosen stasis for healing purposes or was nearing the end of its life, then violent means might be necessary to wake it up.

"...The rest is up to my master to decide!"

Forerunner had been following Sun Cheng for a long time, so he knew his cautious nature. It was highly likely that Sun Cheng couldn't determine what was inside the museum before assigning the mission to him, which was why he sent Forerunner to investigate.

So, who exactly was the other Decepticon, and why was it in stasis? Forerunner chose not to ponder over these questions for now.

Taking advantage of the darkness, he quickly left the "United States National Air and Space Museum." Forerunner avoided the capital's airspace security systems and took flight.

...

"...Black Bird!"

Sun Cheng narrowed his eyes, and the Core was repeatedly playing the footage that had been remotely transmitted by Forerunner a dozen minutes ago. He had recovered from his tense and frantic state.

"A Decepticon in stasis?"

Muttering to himself, Sun Cheng was indeed troubled by the significant discovery Forerunner had made in Washington DC, United States.

The reason he had assigned such a mysterious task to Forerunner stemmed from a discovery by Teletraan more than three months ago.

Teletraan was a super-brain created by applying a vast amount of Cybertron technology. It possessed intelligence not inferior to that of mechanical life and computing power far beyond ordinary Decepticons. Since obtaining it from Attack, Sun Cheng had increasingly relied on Teletraan.

Especially when Atlas and the Decepticon engineers had been utilized to the fullest and he couldn't spare any more energy, he began to entrust more and more research tasks to Teletraan, which had exceptional intelligence and computing capabilities.

Teletraan was responsible for various research tasks, including continuously improving the awakening technology for new Decepticons, researching humanoid-type Decepticons, and deciphering the information secrets in the All Spark fragments.

The coordinates of the "United States National Air and Space Museum" that Sun Cheng had transmitted to Forerunner two months ago originated from Teletraan's interpretation of the information in the All Spark fragments.

Yes, it was related to the All Spark.

"What exactly is the All Spark?"

This was not the first time Sun Cheng had sunk into deep contemplation due to the broken Decepticon sacred artifact. In fact, shortly after obtaining the All Spark fragments, he had noticed that they contained a vast amount of chaotic and disorderly information.

For humans, these were like codes, but for mechanical life, they were essential for evolution.

Despite the power they currently wielded, they had no clue about the All Spark's research. They couldn't understand why the All Spark fragments could repeatedly absorb energy and transform machines with electronic components into mechanical life.

After months of tedious research, Teletraan had made some progress.

For example, the success rate of awakening new Decepticons had increased by nearly thirty percent compared to Adam's initial creation.

At the same time, Teletraan had managed to capture and extract a small amount of recurring information from the fragments.

One of those pieces of information was the set of coordinates pointing to somewhere in Lindor!

When Sun Cheng received it from Teletraan, he had already determined that the coordinates pointed to Washington, the capital of the United States.

However, this also made him deeply uneasy and panicked!

Why would the All Spark's hidden information contain precise coordinates pointing to somewhere on Earth, and why would a Decepticon be in stasis inside the museum at those coordinates?

As skeptical as he was, the more he thought about it, the more he felt as if there were hidden hands constantly pushing him into this entanglement.

This feeling was extremely unpleasant, to the point that despite forcibly calming himself down, Sun Cheng's hands were still trembling slightly as he contemplated.

"Who exactly is that Decepticon... and why is it in stasis in the United States National Air and Space Museum? Should I try to communicate with it, or expose it to the Autobots and use them to wake it up and investigate its identity..."

Sun Cheng was deeply troubled!
