Although Sun Cheng couldn't find the relevant memories of how the Decepticon Legion manufactured the Core in Megatron's memory, he did see some memories related to the Decepticon Legion's research on the All Spark.

The Decepticon scientists discovered that the All Spark could unleash a powerful energy pulse with unique fluctuations. This pulse had the ability to transform organic beings and objects with organic characteristics, such as machines with internal circuitry, into mechanical life.

However, despite the miraculous nature of the All Spark, its flaws were also evident compared to the Leadership Module. While it could transform organic beings and devices with organic characteristics into mechanical life, the energy pulse it released was unstable.

If the target was an organic being or a mechanical life, the intense energy pulse of the All Spark could provide the necessary energy for their evolution. However, if the target was merely a machine device with organic characteristics, the situation became much worse.

The energy wavelength released by the All Spark was unstable, and even though machines also possessed circuit structures, they were fundamentally different from organic beings. The former were pseudo-mechanical life forms that possessed primal life traits, while machines were just machines.

Sun Cheng's experiments confirmed this point. In several previous tests, it had been proven that the All Spark fragments would become active after absorbing a sufficient amount of energy.

Similar to the All Spark, the fragments Sun Cheng possessed also had the ability to transform machines with internal circuitry into mechanical life. However, even when he experimented with industrial robots, the results were the same as his initial experiment with his Nokia phone.

The industrial robots subjected to the All Spark fragments' transformation still exhibited the same chaotic thinking and violent behavior as the "green skin" he captured in Las Vegas and the mechanical life form his Nokia phone had become—an obsession with killing and destruction.

Such cannon fodder was not what Sun Cheng needed.

Utilizing All Spark fragments to transform mechanical life also required absorbing a significant amount of energy. The mechanical body, core, and energy centralization of the robots all demanded resources.

As a result, he could only obtain inferior products lacking intelligence and driven solely by destruction, hardly worth the effort.

It was an unsolvable dilemma!

Even if Megatron's memories were genuine, the mighty Decepticon Legion of the past couldn't solve it, let alone Sun Cheng and his significantly weaker force compared to the Decepticon Legion.

With no other options, he had to cross the river by feeling the stones and explore on his own.

"Master... Master, Energy Gathering has reached the eighth level. Certain components of the equipment have started to overheat. This machine will be destroyed in approximately seven seconds. It is recommended to immediately trigger the energy pulse..."

The voice of Teletraan sounded once again beside his ear.

Sun Cheng couldn't help but furrow his brow as his gaze paused on the mechanical body of the new industrial robot suspended in the device. After a moment of hesitation, he finally nodded.

"Let's activate it, and make sure to record the data!"

"Yes!"

The machine in front of him, resembling an oven or a cabinet, immediately underwent a transformation.

Sun Cheng couldn't help but focus his attention, looking at it with anticipation.

This machine was something he instructed Atlas and the others to replicate based on a device he had seen in Megatron's memories. It was used by the Decepticon army to extract energy from the All Spark and convert ordinary machines into mechanical lifeforms. Although it was a simplified version, it should have all the necessary functionalities.

As the cold mechanical voice of Teletraan resounded, a cylindrical pointer embedded with All Spark fragments, positioned directly at the head of the industrial robot within the device, emitted a beam of intense blue light. Like a leaping lightning bolt, it swiftly penetrated the robot's head.

"Crack..."

Inside the device, the mechanical body of the industrial robot, which was fixed on a stand and should have been in a dormant state, suddenly started to tremble violently.

"The success or failure hinges on this..."

Sun Cheng couldn't help but gaze fixedly at the industrial robot inside the device, feeling increasingly restless.

During the war, the former Decepticon army didn't extensively study how to give intelligence to the mechanical lifeforms derived from the conversion of the All Spark. After all, they were engrossed in a ruthless battle with the Autobots for the control of Cybertron Planet. Rather than intelligent mechanical lifeforms, Decepticons needed expendable soldiers for the battlefield.

Without any reference, Sun Cheng could only rely on his own exploration.

The industrial robot within the device was a newly modified model he instructed Atlas and the others to create. Compared to the previous industrial robots, the changes in this one were quite noticeable. It appeared to be slightly smaller in size and more similar to humans.

The engineers' database contained limited information about the native beings, causing Sun Cheng's attempt to replicate the internal structure of the robots based on the native beings to fall through.

Left with no choice, he had the engineers combine the human body structure to design these new models, which closely resembled humans in terms of both physical structure and internal organ arrangement.

Now, it was time to test his conjecture.

Whether it was the All Spark or its fragments, converting a machine into a mechanical lifeform required energy consumption.

Energon was a measurement unit used by Cybertron to quantify energy. In comparison, the energy consumption of a Level Seven conversion was approximately equivalent to that of a small town with a thousand people over three days. The energy consumption of Level Eight was nearly three times that of Level Seven.

After all, it's just a fragment, and the gap with the complete "All Spark" is obvious.

In previous experiments, Sun Cheng and his team had already discovered that the more energy the fragments absorbed, the richer the special energy pulses they could provide for transforming mechanical life. However, for big guys like industrial robots with energy concentration below level five, the pulses emitted by the fragments are simply unable to cause any qualitative changes.

This time, Sun Cheng was going for success. At the very least, he wanted to verify whether the fragments could cause mutations in the transformed mechanical life after absorbing enough energy.

Now, he stared intently at the industrial robot in the device in front of him, which had already begun to struggle violently. His fists clenched tightly.
