"Boom!"

Following a series of explosions, Ironhide quickly descended to the bottom of the launch well.

Upon landing, he immediately rolled to a nearby hiding spot, cautiously surveying his surroundings. Once he confirmed that there were no other units nearby, Ironhide emerged again.

Although he hadn't detected any targets in the vicinity, Ironhide remained vigilant. He still had his grenade launcher in his right hand and summoned his laser cannon, which surpassed the power of Bumblebee, with his left hand.

Carefully approaching the recently destroyed target, Ironhide couldn't help but taunt, "Hey, boy, are you Decepticons nothing but a bunch of disgusting rats hiding in dark corners?"

The mockery received no response, but Ironhide paid it no mind.

Soon, he arrived at the site of the destroyed target. He glanced at the pile of scrap metal on the ground, furrowing his brows slightly. "Just an ordinary machine gun?"

Two beams of light shot from his eyes, landing on the partially destroyed machine gun on the ground. Ironhide's smile deepened.

"I see, the machine gun underwent some simple modifications to enable automatic firing..."

He swiftly raised his weapon and exclaimed to his surroundings, "Good idea, but still a failed creation... And tell me, is it because your tyrant leader, Megatron, is dead that the Decepticons have descended into such rapid degradation? Now you've even resorted to using the weapons you despise the most—human weapons?"

Having spoken his mind, Ironhide's gaze quickly fell upon a nearby monitor in the shadowy corner. He gestured lightly with his weapon, as if mocking it.

Within Laboratory No. 1, the surveillance equipment faithfully transmitted Ironhide's provocation to Sun Cheng. A faint smile suddenly appeared on his previously expressionless face.

"Do you look down on human intelligence?"

He sneered and snapped his fingers, causing the closed gate in front of Ironhide to immediately open.

Sun Cheng watched with great interest as the surveillance equipment captured Ironhide's startled figure. Ignoring his subsequent anger, Sun Cheng raised his head and fired a grenade, destroying the surveillance equipment. He whispered softly, "I've prepared a special treat for you. Don't disappoint me too much!"

Having said that, he ceased paying attention to Ironhide. Through the monitors scattered throughout the base, Core quickly identified another obscure figure that had suddenly emerged at a different entrance. His eyes involuntarily narrowed.

"Only two Autobots?"

Naturally, the launch well couldn't serve as the entrance to this nuclear missile launch base. In fact, Base No. 1 had three entrances, not counting the two hidden passages that the engineers had recently dug under Sun Cheng's orders.

One of the main entrances is used for transporting materials and personnel, located four kilometers away from the base's launch silo and connected to this location through a long tunnel.

In addition, the US military has also established a concealed nuclear warhead transportation channel and an emergency evacuation channel for personnel and equipment during emergencies.

Clearly, although this nuclear launch silo has been abandoned for many years, it is still a military facility built by the United States, and the Sound Nest Force has all the intelligence on it.

Sun Cheng had considered this from the beginning, and he even realized that when the Sound Nest Force was preparing to descend into the well to eliminate him, they would definitely consider blocking all the exits to prevent his escape.

However, what he didn't expect was that the opposing side only dispatched two Autobots.

"A trap?"

Doubtful, he activated his Core fully and connected his consciousness to the hundreds of surveillance devices spread throughout the base, while frantically searching for those suspicious figures.

However, to his disappointment, apart from Tin Hide and the short and fat Autobot with a name he couldn't recall, he didn't detect any other suspicious figures.

"The automated security machine guns didn't respond either, which means the damage outside the base could be much more severe than I imagined!"

A hint of joy couldn't help but surface in his mind, and Sun Cheng's smile grew wider.

Previously, when he suspected that he might have been discovered by the US military, he immediately ordered his Decepticon engineers to set up a large number of anti-tank and anti-infantry mines, as well as surveillance equipment, within dozens of kilometers outside the base.

However, he never expected these things to cause significant damage to the incoming US troops and Autobots from the very beginning.

He didn't even hold much hope for the six engineers' modified automatic land-based missile systems that he reluctantly deployed.

Sun Cheng's real trump card was the two long boxes he personally chose to bury!

What was inside those boxes was not something ordinary, but energy bombs modified by Atlas and others based on the hunter's individual auxiliary equipment.

The Hunter civilization, strictly speaking, is a civilization that has recently acquired advanced energy manipulation. However, perhaps it's because their energy technology hasn't advanced beyond that of Cybertron Planet, they accidentally stumbled upon the branch of energy bomb technology instead. This led to the creation of individual auxiliary devices that not only provide stable power supply to the equipment on the hunters but also function as terrifying devices that can be used as bombs at any moment.

It's worth noting that Cybertron Planet has always focused on maintaining stable structures for high-energy concentrations and has never deliberately disrupted stability to unleash terrifying destructive power.

Thanks to the technological references from the Hunter civilization, Atlas and his team were finally able to create a terrorizing energy bomb with explosive power equivalent to thousands of tons of high-grade explosives.

However, manufacturing such energy bombs is extremely complicated and requires a substantial amount of energy.

The two energy bombs Sun Cheng possessed were the entirety of his remaining stock!

As a result, Base No. 2 had depleted all its energy reserves, which also had a ripple effect on the manufacturing of industrial robots.

Putting these aside, it's evident that the power of the two energy bombs exceeded imagination. Despite Sun Cheng being in an underground facility capable of withstanding nuclear strikes, he still felt the intense tremors from the previous explosions.

Realizing this, Sun Cheng knew his objective had been achieved, and he could now prepare for evacuation at any time.

However!

As his vision returned to the surveillance equipment, locking onto the iron-skinned beings who continued to taunt him, as well as the unfamiliar short and stout Autobot, his smile turned more sinister.

If you can achieve a perfect score on a test, you won't settle for a score of 90%!

That's Sun Cheng's consistent style!

Seeing the proud and arrogant Iron Skin being led towards the electromagnetic trap he had set up, Sun Cheng made a quick movement, summoning his plasma cannon.

After leaving the now-empty laboratory without looking back, he immediately contacted the two combat robots that were heading towards the Iron Skin's location through the Core, diverting them towards another Autobot.

Sun Cheng hurriedly headed in that direction too!

Since the Autobots had set their sights on him, this time he not only intended to cause severe losses to the U.S. military but also had no qualms about further provoking the Autobots!
