In the southeastern part of Nye County, Nevada, lies the heavily guarded Nevada Proving Ground. A General Motors (GM) SUV with the logo of the US Department of Energy affixed on it slowly approached from a ground radar station 30 kilometers away. After undergoing rigorous security checks, it finally entered the test site under the protection of two accompanying military vehicles.

Major William stood in front of the vehicle, furrowing his brow as he observed the approaching GM SUV. "What's the situation?" he asked, tilting his head slightly towards Captain Robert standing beside him.

"I'm not sure, as you know, the higher-ups are not confident about our robotic friends, so they have prohibited us from connecting them to the external network," Captain Robert shrugged, wearing a nonchalant expression on his face.

William Major glanced at him and said, "They are Autobots, not just robots..." However, he chose not to pursue the argument further because he knew that Robert's statement was a fact. Politicians were a group of perpetually insecure old men, especially those in Washington, who were overly suspicious.

The devastation caused by the Battle of Las Vegas was not just a bucket of cold water poured over the heads of the US higher-ups; it was akin to an entire reservoir collapsing. Ninety-two aircraft were destroyed, over 200 tanks and military vehicles were demolished, and the number of soldiers killed or injured exceeded 2,000, with over 1,400 American soldiers among the deceased.

This battle between extraterrestrial entities had exacted a more excruciating toll on the United States than the combined costs of the Iraq War and the Afghanistan War, leaving the US higher-ups divided on whether to intervene in the conflict between the two mechanical life forces. Although the President and the Secretary of Defense eventually agreed on a cooperation plan with the Autobots, the government's treatment of them was far from ideal.

From the outset, the majority, including intelligence agencies, the Pentagon, and the White House, adopted a staunch stance against allowing the Autobots to be stationed within the United States. Optimus Prime made a concession and agreed to the US government's request by establishing the future cooperation base with the Sound Nest Force overseas.

Nevertheless, while the US was still in the process of completing their base, the government demonstrated its ill will by temporarily placing the Autobots in the Nevada Proving Ground, located in the southeastern part of Nye County, Nevada. The Nevada Proving Ground was a place where the US military conducted testing and destruction of new nuclear weapons. The vicinity of the Nevada test site housed two missile brigades, a tank division, and no fewer than 200 various types of fighter jets, not to mention an unregistered land-based nuclear force.

Placing the Autobots in such a heavily fortified location indicated the level of caution exercised by the US government. The vehicle soon arrived, and after the doors opened, a young Caucasian man dressed in a black suit stepped out. He appeared to be in his thirties and respectfully approached Major William and Captain Robert, saluting them before speaking. "Major, I'm from the Nankanda radar station. These are the images we captured today, and I was instructed to deliver them to you."

He retrieved a dozen or so pictures from his briefcase and handed them over. Major William glanced at the bulging briefcase, realizing that there were more items inside besides the pictures. Returning the salute, he accepted the photographs.

Captain Robert also leaned in for a closer look, and upon examining the images together, their facial expressions simultaneously changed. The pictures depicted a series of airborne aircraft, with a resolution that allowed for a general outline to be discerned.

"A small aircraft... it seems to resemble..."

Captain Robert requested one of the pictures to scrutinize it more carefully, attempting to identify the aircraft's type.

"The Grim Reaper..." Major William's face darkened, and his eyes filled with a hint of murderous intent. He took a deep breath to suppress his tumultuous thoughts before turning his attention back to the young man. "How long ago were these images taken? And where were they captured?" he inquired.

Glancing at the time, the man replied, "33 minutes ago, over Colorado...""Indeed..."

Major William nodded and saluted him again, saying, "I need to take these things away, is that okay?"

"Yes, Major."

The young man immediately handed him the briefcase he had brought and returned a salute before turning around and leaving in his car.

As soon as he left, Major William handed all the dozen or so pictures he was holding to Captain Robert, who was beside him. He then reached into the briefcase himself.

Soon, several discs and other documents were also taken out, and Major William carefully looked at them for a while before raising his head.

"Captain, send someone to find Optimus Prime. Immediately notify the equipment department. I will apply for an immediate remote joint chiefs of staff meeting..."

"Yes..."

An hour later, at the C3 base outside the Nevada test site, in the Communications Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

"The encrypted line for the Joint Chiefs of Staff meeting is now connected, Major..."

With a reminder from the communications officer, Major William took a deep breath, nodded, and walked directly to several high-definition cameras. He saluted, and then said, "...Sir, we have just obtained some intelligence. Due to the critical situation, I had to request this meeting to report the situation to everyone..."

Underneath the camera in front of him, several LCD screens were set up, each displaying a high-ranking military figure wearing a general's uniform. They were none other than the highest commanders and military ministers of the major branches of the US military.

"What intelligence?"

asked Secretary of the Army, Erwin.

Major William glanced at Optimus Prime next to him and said, "A few days ago, one of our military satellites at Sound Nest, which had just been upgraded with a new dark spectrum scanning system, detected some dark light spectral responses when it passed through Savage County in Colorado... After that, we requested increased surveillance of Colorado, and just over an hour ago, our satellite captured another set of images... After identification, it has been confirmed that the captured footage originated from a Decepticon member—Frenzy..."

"Frenzy!"

As soon as he heard the name Frenzy, even through the screen, Major William could immediately sense the tension among the high-ranking officers attending the remote Joint Chiefs of Staff meeting.

In fact, it wasn't just them, Major William himself felt the same way.

The Battle of Las Vegas, if the appearance of Megatron made the Americans realize the terrifying combat capabilities of Decepticons, then Frenzy, who wasn't as physically powerful, taught them about the enduring destructive power of mechanical life.

Not to mention the losses suffered by the US military aircraft and soldiers in his hands, the casualties caused by his two invasions of Sector Seven and the carnage in that district deeply struck the heart of the US government.

It is not an exaggeration to say that with Megatron confirmed dead and Starscream, whom the Autobots feared, yet to make an appearance, Sun Cheng has already become the most dangerous and immediate target in the eyes of the US government officials.

As a result, the meeting was swiftly approved with an efficiency that Major William hadn't anticipated.

"Major, we approve the deployment of the Sound Nest troops. We have only one request: use all means necessary to completely destroy this mechanical lifeform named Frenzy!"

"Yes, sir. I guarantee the completion of the mission!"
