Opening his eyes once again, Sun Cheng took in the sights of the laboratory through the two pairs of electronic eyes on his mechanical body. He silently watched the familiar scene before him and let out a long breath.

"Time travel, truly marvelous!"

This wasn't the first time Sun Cheng had felt this way. Each time he traveled back and forth, it deepened his awe of this incredible phenomenon.

The memories retained in his mind vividly reminded him of the convoluted experiences he had in the real world. Not only did he encounter dinosaurs, ancient creatures that were supposed to have become extinct millions of years ago, on an island in Central America, but he also encountered three extraterrestrial intelligent beings known as the Hunters on the same island.

However, the time displayed on the laboratory server couldn't be manipulated. The numbers clearly indicated that only a few seconds had passed since his last check before leaving.

Clutching his fists, Sun Cheng once again felt the powerful and distinct strength of his Decepticon mechanical body, which surpassed that of a human. Surprisingly, he felt an even stronger sense of security than in reality.

This peculiar sensation stirred up some indescribable emotions within him, but he quickly suppressed them.

As much as he enjoyed the alternate world, there were still people and things in the real world that he couldn't let go of.

Glancing around the laboratory he was in, Sun Cheng hesitated.

The laboratory he currently occupied was the largest storage warehouse in the underground launch shaft of the former American "Titan One" intercontinental strategic missile.

If he guessed correctly, this space was originally meant for storing strategic missiles. Its immense size, spanning three to four thousand square meters, prompted Sun Cheng to take over the silo and personally rearrange the circuits and other equipment to transform it into his most essential laboratory. He designated it as Laboratory No.1, or simply Lab One.

Ordinarily, Sun Cheng didn't allow anyone, not even his assistants Atlas and Forerunner, to enter Lab One without his permission.

The reason was simple—Sun Cheng intended to use this place as his point of entry and exit during his time travels. Additionally, important equipment and possessions of the base were stored within.

Lab One was large enough to accommodate a spacecraft, almost the size of half a standard football field.

Despite its spaciousness, Sun Cheng hesitated for a while before making up his mind. Finally, he found a vacant spot away from the equipment and waved his hand.

In the next moment, a pitch-black spaceship materialized within the laboratory.

"Energy consumed: 37 units..."

A crease formed on Alloy's metallic face, and Sun Cheng winced. This was precisely why he hesitated before retrieving the spaceship.

The spherical space within his body had evolved on Nubra Island, where it absorbed a piece of magical amber. This evolution granted it storage capabilities.

However, as convenient as the storage function was, both storing and retrieving items from it required energy.

For larger items like the Hunter spaceship, it consumed over seventy units of energy each time it entered or exited, nearly equaling the energy cost of a single time travel. It was no wonder Sun Cheng felt the pain.

Nevertheless, despite the anguish, Sun Cheng couldn't help but acknowledge that the newly activated storage function had been a great help to him.

With a thought, he stored several All Spark fragments he had kept within his mechanical body into the spherical space.

After gaining storage functionality, although it consumes a certain amount of energy to save and retrieve items, it becomes more convenient and secure.

Especially for some items that could only be carried through close contact and were previously limited to electronic devices, now there are no such restrictions.

After sending a message to Atlas, who was studying Jazz's remains and analyzing the various alloy devices used in his mechanical body, Sun Cheng informed him once again that he would be conducting certain experiments and requested not to be disturbed unless it was urgent.

He then walked to the front of the spaceship and activated the Core's scanning function!

Two beams of deep blue light immediately shot out from his electronic eyes, illuminating the surface of the spaceship and commencing a comprehensive scan of its interior and exterior. In Sun Cheng's mind, a series of chilling notification sounds continued to ring.

"Scanning function activated... Conducting a comprehensive scan of the object in front... Anti-radiation isolation points detected on the outer shell, initiating enhanced scanning program... Outer framework modeling complete... Initiating core scan and shell material analysis simultaneously..."

Lines of data flickered incessantly within his Core. Leveraging the vastly superior performance of his Core, which surpassed that of Safeguard by hundreds of times, Sun Cheng meticulously scanned the data of this spacecraft originating from the hunter civilization.

"Shell analysis complete. Identified materials include seventeen known metal elements such as iron, titanium, chromium, and two unknown elements... Internal scan complete. All electronic devices and circuit layouts have been identified, initiating comprehensive modeling..."

The entire process took slightly more time than he had anticipated, totaling 107 minutes.

However, the achievements he made were significant!

As the scanning beams retracted, a satisfied smile appeared on Sun Cheng's face.

"A good haul..."

The manufacturing technology employed in this hunter spacecraft was not particularly advanced, especially concerning the electronic devices and circuits within. With the current industrial manufacturing capabilities of the United States in his current world, he could easily undertake the manufacture of over 70% of the equipment, and even surpass the hunter civilization's capabilities.

Nevertheless, there were still some devices and technologies beyond the reach of human civilization.

For example, certain technologies and materials used in this spaceship far exceeded the current knowledge of human civilization, particularly in the case of certain alloys. On Earth, either their applications remained undiscovered or their reserves were extremely scarce, mostly located deep within the Earth's mantle, making extraction exceedingly challenging.

Of course, these limitations were relative to humans.

With the technology of Cybertron Planet, building this spaceship posed no significant difficulties. However, Sun Cheng's limited access to human resources hindered his progress. Relying solely on the devices and materials acquired by himself and Atlas, it would take several years of effort to successfully construct a spaceship.

The manpower shortage issue seemed unlikely to be resolved in the short term, so Sun Cheng temporarily set aside those thoughts and prepared to make certain modifications to the technology of this spaceship instead.
