The night on the West Coast was hazy and dreamlike, different from the fast-paced hustle and bustle of the East Coast. The setting sun was hidden among the hazy and delicate branches, and the light and shadow of the Steel Jungle were quickly elongated. Under the bar's lights, the shadows of the wine glasses were as long as the intercontinental railway tracks.

As he gently placed the wine glass down, there was a hint of anger in his movements. Lucifer Morningstar put down his mobile phone, furrowing his brows deeply, and then picked up the glass again, draining the remaining liquid in one gulp.

"What's wrong with Schiller?" he said with a puzzled tone, "He called me out of the blue and then suddenly hung up..."

Lucifer Morningstar leaned against the bar counter, tapping the surface lightly with his finger. He tilted his head, as if looking at something non-existent in the air, and a few seconds later, his eyes slowly widened.

"What's going on?!" Lucifer Morningstar's tone was filled with even more surprise.

"What's wrong with Schiller again... Oh, wait, so that was just the beginning? Are those two sick? How could they... "

"Oh my god! Batman! What have you done? You messed up Schiller's exam and even sent him to prison? That's too much!"

"Hey, wait, so it was Schiller's other personality who did it?"

"Oh, so Batman figured it out... Yeah, Schiller has always told me that communication is the best way to deal with problems..."

"Hold on, why was Schiller sent back again? What is Batman doing..."

Lucifer Morningstar's expression went through several changes, ultimately settling on a deep confusion.

It's not Lucifer Morningstar's fault, as it's indeed difficult for a normal person to untangle the series of actions between Schiller and Batman.

In fact, Lucifer Morningstar is not a person with a strong desire for control. He has few friends he truly recognizes, and he does his best to help his friends deal with their troubles, but he doesn't interfere with their own views or try to persuade them too much.

Generally speaking, as long as his friends don't come to him for help, he won't actively intervene in their affairs or help them with his own will.

So even though he knew Schiller was troubled by Batman, as long as Schiller didn't actively ask for his help, he would just pretend not to know.

But this time, Schiller actively called him, saying a few nonsensical things. Lucifer Morningstar followed the timeline, but still couldn't figure out what was going on between Schiller and Batman.

At least, Lucifer Morningstar confirmed that Schiller's current situation was not good, and his call was not just a casual chat, but that he needed help.

In most cases, Lucifer Morningstar is a rather cautious person. He felt he needed to think about the best way to help.

He could certainly rush over and beat up Batman, then rescue Schiller from prison. But if that were the case, Schiller wouldn't have said those cryptic things on the phone, he could have just cursed Batman directly, as he often did when they chatted on the phone.

Lucifer Morningstar carefully recalled Schiller's words about "a child taking the father's authority."

At the same time, he tilted his head and carefully reviewed the recent events surrounding Batman.

Soon, Lucifer Morningstar's expression turned cold, and he narrowed his eyes as he picked up the wine glass. The transparent liquid filled the glass again, and he held it against his lips, murmuring softly:

"Paternal authority... Paternal authority..."

Lucifer Morningstar seemed to have fallen into deep thought. It wasn't until a few minutes later that his thoughts returned to the present. He examined the wine glass in his hand and let out a cold smile, saying:

"Pride is a part of me, just as I am a part of Pride. Batman, why don't you understand? Pride and I, we constantly feel pain and sorrow at having to bow down to others, but we still cannot break free from the shackles of paternal authority, not because we can't, but because we don't want to."

Lucifer Morningstar slowly closed his eyes, his golden eyelashes trembling slightly. As his Adam's apple slid down, like a drop of liquid sliding down the rim of the glass, he took another light sip of the wine and said:

"Then, let's see whether you can so easily and recklessly use cruel means to defy your father's authority, because you are stronger than us, or because you don't love him enough."

When Lucifer Morningstar put down the wine glass and stood up, the bar counter in front of him was replaced by a starry space. The spherical spaces were neatly arranged, each telling its own story, bustling with activity, and the giant angel's hands cradled the star-filled space like a small infant.

The flickering light reflected in his emerald-like eyes, and a tiny, almost imperceptible beam of light flashed between two spaces, captured by Lucifer Morningstar.

He revealed a mysterious smile and reached out a hand, plucking the beam of light between his fingertips.

Immediately after, Lucifer Morningstar turned his head to look at a special space on the edge of the star-filled space. While all the other spaces were spherical, this one was a faint blue cube emitting a weak glow.

Lucifer Morningstar knew that the pale blue cube on the surface of Space did not belong to his jurisdiction, it was the creation of another Space, Schiller called it the "Space Cube".

With a slight raise of one hand, Lucifer Morningstar caused the circular Space to float out from the cube, and with the other hand he threw the flowing light towards the spherical Space, a thin beam of light flashed, and the flowing light was sent into the Space.

Lucifer Morningstar thought for a moment, and still placed this Space back into the Space Cube, but moved the Space Cube and the Space to a position closer to the more Prosperous center, no longer at the edge of Space.

Watching the exciting events unfolding in the nearby Space, Lucifer Morningstar showed an interested smile, as if expecting something.

And under his gaze, the flowing light that invaded the Space rushed through the dark Space at an extremely fast speed, following the rules of Space, like a small bug falling into the toilet, irresistibly along the dark vortex, heading towards the evil sewer.

Gotham, 9 o'clock in the evening, the radio in the Ford car emitted two "sizzling" sounds of electric current, and the energetic host's voice rang out in the car:

"Hey, good evening, guys! Welcome to the 'Gotham really doesn't welcome you to listen to the Automotive and Travel Guide Channel'! I'm the host, Mike!"

"We've been with you for a month now, and the good news we have for you today is - this Rotten City really doesn't have any good news!"

"Oh, yes, I heard that a little guy called Black Pelican Beak was elected the East Coast rap newcomer, let's all congratulate him and hope he can survive this weekend's Gang Shootout!"

"What else? Oh, yes! Damn, the Central Roundabout is jammed again, it's really not necessary for me to repeat this fact over and over again! You just need to remember that whenever you hear my voice on the radio, the Central Roundabout is jammed, because that place is just never not jammed!"

"Oh, by the way, there have been some out-of-towners calling me on the Telephone lately, asking why the insurance company doesn't reimburse for the car damage caused by Shotgun blasts, it's simple, you go find the guy who shot you, give him some money, and let him take a shot at the insurance company's windows, and the insurance company will reimburse everything."

"Wow, wow, wow! Of course, there's also the news that the ladies are most concerned about, the most exciting Gotham news, that Batman with the hot body, sexy chin and perky butt, where is he?"

"Go, girls and guys, to all the places where you can see the Wayne Tower Rooftop, yes, tonight, he will appear there!"

"Let's cheer together, the night of Gotham will belong to - Batman!!!"

A black-gloved hand pressed the radio button, and at the mention of Batman's name, the veins on the slightly aged hand suddenly stood out.

The golden hour of Gotham is one of the few bright moments in this City, and even before the radio said it was Gotham's night, a tall figure appeared on the Wayne Tower Rooftop.

"A little to the right, a little to the right! That's it, just standing to the right of the sunset, lower your head a bit, yes, Correct, raise your head a little... Okay, this angle is just right, let's start with a few shots, how about the title 'Sunset Hero'?"

"Clark, I have to remind you that the Batman image authorization belongs to the Wayne Group, it is the compensation that Bruce Wayne deserves for funding Batman, and all the photos you take cannot be used for profit."

"Oh, my God! You're such a vampire, a cunning capitalist!" Clark lowered his hand and shouted in frustration.

The Batman, standing on the edge of the Rooftop wrapped in his cape, took a step to the side, avoiding Clark's sudden attack, turning his head to look at the floating Clark and said, "No news organization in Metropolis has the legal authorization to use the Batman image, if the Wayne Group sues them, who will have their wages docked?"

"Please, don't be like that!" Clark flew to Batman's side, circling him a few times, looking at him with a longing gaze and said, "I'm promoting the Batman image, which is also contributing to the development of Gotham's tourism industry, you can't be so heartless!"

Then Clark tried to grab Batman's cape again, but Batman still avoided it expressionlessly.

The two of them bickered on the Rooftop for a while, and Batman, with his arms crossed, said, "No joking, you should go talk to your editor about the licensing fees, that will test how much your work is worth in their eyes."

Holding the camera, Clark stood next to him and said, "You'd better not have high hopes, everyone in the newsroom knows how stingy my editor is."

"I plan to collaborate with Luthor Corporation to operate a series of Gotham tourism and cultural industries representing the Batman image." Batman gazed into the distance and said, "He will reclaim all the copyrights related to the Batman image in Metropolis, and your editor won't want to sue Luthor Corporation."

"You're going to work with Lex?" Clark was a bit surprised and opened his mouth wide, but then he said a little stammered:

"Oh, I see, you're going to sue the media that violates the rules and collect copyright fees, right? Actually, you're just reminding me, reminding my news agency, to take down those magazines that use you as the cover as soon as possible, so that I, who pioneered the Batman news, won't be implicated."

"Bruce, I knew I didn't misjudge you, you're really good to your friends!"

"Call me Batman."

"Of course, Bruce!"
