Under the relentless assault of over ten thousand people, the fifth-tier savage beast couldn't help but become increasingly furious.

With a fierce flick of its long tongue, it turned the Flying Boat wrapped around it into an improvised weapon and hurled it towards a nearby sea vessel.

"Boom!"

As it turned out, the Flying Boat was no match for the sturdiness of the sea vessel. The immense force shattered the Flying Boat into pieces, scattering its contents on the ground, while the sea vessel remained unharmed.

In the aftermath of this attack, three hundred Cultivators aboard the Flying Boat were struck by the tremendous force. Some of the foremost Cultivators among them disintegrated into a mist of blood.

Others were also affected by the residual shockwaves, sustaining varying degrees of injuries.

Wang Hong, leading a group of eight Nascent Soul Cultivators, simultaneously activated their magic weapons, preparing to strike the savage beast once more.

However, just as the nine magic weapons were about to descend, a sudden gust of wind swept through the area, and the savage beast disappeared from its original position.

A short distance away, the savage beast reappeared in front of another Flying Boat, raising its claw to strike down upon it.

The beast's speed was so incredible that there was no chance for rescue. Wang Hong could only watch helplessly as it brought its claw down.

Without any surprise, even though the Large-sized Flying Boat had its defensive shield activated, it still couldn't withstand the sheer force of the blow from the fifth-tier savage beast.

With a single swipe of its claw, the Large-sized Flying Boat crumbled into pieces, and most of the Cultivators inside suffered casualties.

In the brief time since encountering the fifth-tier savage beast, they had already lost two Flying Boats. But the loss of the Flying Boats was secondary; what was truly precious were Wang Hong's elite subordinates.

If this continued, the ten thousand followers he had brought might not be able to withstand a few more strikes from the beast.

"Retreat! Both the Flying Boats and sea vessels, fall back to the outer perimeter. Nascent Soul Cultivators, stay and cooperate," Wang Hong shouted. Afterward, he commanded his four crimson Flying Swords to form a massive Four Symbols Sword Formation in the sky, instantly enveloping the entire battlefield, trapping the Giant Lizard and his Nascent Soul Cultivators within.

It was his first time deploying such a large Four Symbols Sword Formation, attempting to immobilize a fifth-tier savage beast.

Once trapped within the formation, the savage beast wasted no time in attacking anything that obstructed its path.

The divine images formed within the sword formation were immediately destroyed, as if crushed by a giant palm.

The elemental manifestations of metal, wood, water, and fire were all swiftly obliterated by the beast's tail.

Among the four elemental manifestations, only the flames managed to inflict some damage upon it.

While maintaining the sword formation under relentless assault, Wang Hong's Divine Sense and Spiritual Power were under immense pressure. While Spiritual Power could be rapidly replenished with Spirit Wine, the depletion of Divine Sense was not as easily restored.

However, seeing the flames causing harm to the beast gave Wang Hong a glimmer of hope.

The four elemental manifestations in the Four Symbols Sword Formation were derived from the Golden Crow Fire contained within the Flying Swords, with the fire manifestation being the most potent.

Within the formation, Wang Hong handed each of his eight Nascent Soul subordinates a Storage Bag, instructing them to take up positions at eight different points.

"Once I give the signal, you will all activate the Crimson Flame Beads simultaneously. Keep it up as long as the beast lives. I will do my best to contain it and fend off its attacks."

The Storage Bags given to his subordinates contained a substantial number of crimson beads that he had named Crimson Flame Beads, crafted from Fusang Wood Refinement.

Using the Crimson Flame Bead required no intricate techniques, only the activation to release the Golden Crow Fire stored within the Fusang Wood.

In previous encounters with stronger adversaries, despite the immense power of the Golden Crow Fire, it often proved futile if they couldn't get close enough to the opponent. When lower-tier Cultivators faced off against higher-tier ones, the disparity was all-encompassing. Many times, lower-tier Cultivators couldn't even touch the hem of their opponent's robe, let alone launch an attack.

Even when using the Four Symbols Sword Formation to trap an enemy, Wang Hong needed to control the formation, leaving him with limited resources to spare.

But now, with the Four Symbols Sword Formation successfully restraining the savage beast and eight of his subordinates assisting him, all he had to do was to keep the sword formation intact.

Since becoming a high-tier Cultivator, he hadn't enjoyed the satisfaction of crushing his opponents with resources and Spirit Stones for a long time.

After arranging his team, Wang Hong exerted himself to maintain the formation and deployed his Green Leaf Magic weapon on the outer perimeter to ensure the safety of those within.

At this moment, the Lizard Beast within the formation had just extinguished one of the illusory divine beasts he had conjured. Suddenly, from all directions, numerous crimson beads flew towards it.

Before these beads could completely explode, the savage beast swung its tail at them.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

The sound of the beads bursting continuously echoed, and golden flames billowed up, with many of them sticking to the savage beast's tail.

The flames burned on the beast's tail with a sizzling sound, causing the creature to writhe in pain, desperately trying to extinguish the flames on the ground.

Meanwhile, the eight Golden Core Cultivators, following Wang Hong's orders, continued their attacks as long as the beast remained alive.

Countless crimson beads rained down once again, enveloping the area where the Lizard Beast was located.

Another series of "bangs" ensued, and the flames on the creature's body multiplied.

At this point, a mist of water vapor arose from the savage beast's body, seemingly shielding it from some of the flames. However, the flames on its body were noticeably reduced.

Nevertheless, the relentless onslaught of the eight Nascent Soul Cultivators with their fiery beads didn't cease. The flames that had diminished were reignited.

The beast realized that it had paid a heavy price to extinguish the intense fire, only to be reignited once more. It no longer cared about the flames on its body and shot its long tongue toward one of the Nascent Soul Cultivators.

However, this particular Cultivator showed no fear and proceeded with the plan to throw a fire bead at the beast.

When there was only a short distance of a couple of yards between the beast's long tongue and the Nascent Soul Cultivator, it happened in an instant.

At that moment, a cluster of green leaves floated in front of the Nascent Soul Cultivator, bearing a shining Rune.

The beast's attack landed on the leaves, causing the Rune to dim rapidly. Once it reached a certain point of darkness, the Rune slowly regained its brilliance.

As a result of this attack, Wang Hong's entire Spiritual Power was depleted in an instant.

Thanks to his profound foundation, the strength of his late Nascent Soul Spiritual Power was almost close to that of a Soul Transformation Cultivator. However, even with a defensive treasure, he could only withstand a single attack. If he didn't have a large supply of Spirit Wine in his spatial storage, he might have been incapacitated after that single blow.

In a fit of rage, the savage beast launched several consecutive attacks on the Nascent Soul Cultivator, but they were all blocked by the green leaves. Meanwhile, the flames on its body continued to grow, while its physical strength gradually waned.

After futile attempts at self-preservation and attacks that achieved nothing, the savage beast eventually collapsed on the ground, transforming into a pile of blazing flames.

Wang Hong continued to maintain the Four Symbols Sword Formation until the flames were extinguished, at which point the enormous body of the fifth-tier savage beast had turned into ashes. Only then did he dispel the formation.

Looking at the pile of ashes on the ground, the group couldn't help but feel a sense of regret. This was the body of a fifth-tier savage beast, filled with treasures, and it had been incinerated by the Golden Crow Fire.
