While the Demonic Beasts were momentarily trapped, Wang Hong took advantage of this brief opportunity to cleverly arrange the Puppets around the perimeter.

As he finished his arrangement, the Thunder Sea dissipated, leaving Jia Liang standing weakly in the center. His complexion was pale, and his hands and feet trembled slightly.

Although his divine ability was formidable, it could only be sustained for a short while. After a few moments of exhilaration, weakness overtook his body.

In his effort to trap so many Demonic Beasts simultaneously, he had pushed his body to the limit, leaving him too feeble even to lift a finger.

However, at his weakest moment, a bone sword appeared, carrying tremendous power as it swung towards him.

In this critical moment, a patch of green leaves materialized in front of him. As the bone sword had already sliced through the first leaf, a second one appeared.

The first two leaves were summoned by Sloppy Old Daoist and Liu Changsheng respectively, while the third, slower-reacting leaf was conjured by the Imperial Dragon Army.

Over the past year, Wang Hong had refined several Green Leaf Magic weapons for his subordinates to use, which explained the abundance of such items.

This bone sword managed to directly cleave through one leaf and dim the spiritual light of the second before it was halted.

At this moment, everyone turned their attention to the owner of the bone sword. It was none other than the Fish-Faced Demonic Beast. Perhaps due to its high cultivation level, it had not been greatly affected by Jia Liang's Thunder Sea. As soon as the Thunder Sea dissipated, it regained its mobility and launched an attack against Jia Liang.

Fortunately, several Nascent Soul Cultivators arrived in time to rescue him, or else Jia Liang would have met a gruesome end.

Jia Liang gazed weakly at the intense battle unfolding before him, sighing in helplessness.

Just then, Wang Hong had finished arranging all the Puppets.

There were a total of forty Golden Core Stage Puppets and over five hundred Foundation Building Puppets, forming a Golden Crow Departing Fire Array.

This formation, designed by Wang Hong himself, utilized Puppets to manipulate the Golden Crow Fire as its primary means of attack.

While Liu Changsheng and the others struggled against the Fish-Faced Demonic Beast, Wang Hong activated the formation. Flames erupted from the Puppets, quickly connecting and engulfing the entire area.

Inside the formation, it had transformed into a sea of fire, obscuring visibility. Wang Hong guided everyone through a safe route.

The remaining Demonic Beasts had just recovered from the lightning strikes but found themselves trapped in the sea of fire. They could only rely on their Demonic Energy to resist.

Most of the flames within the formation were derived from the Golden Crow Fire and were not as powerful as the genuine Golden Crow Fire. Nevertheless, escaping this formation wouldn't be easy.

Once everyone had exited the formation, Wang Hong said, "All of you retreat and find the forward troops. If my estimations are correct, they should be attempting to cross the sea by now."

"What about you, Your Majesty? Shouldn't I take over the formation?" Sloppy Old Daoist asked urgently. He was also proficient in formations and had noticed that this formation required constant supervision.

"Naturally, I need to stay behind to oversee the formation and buy you more time. Without proper supervision, the Demonic Beasts inside will soon break free," Wang Hong replied.

"Your Majesty, let me take care of it!"

"Your Majesty, leave it to me!"

...

For a moment, the group debated back and forth. They had chosen to stay behind to prevent Wang Hong from taking on the risk alone, so they were unwilling to leave him now.

After a brief discussion, five Golden Core Cultivators, who had been loyal followers of Wang Hong for many years, volunteered to remain and maintain the formation. Their goal was to delay the Demonic Clan forces as much as possible.

"Here are five Tree Leaf Magic weapons for each of you. Your only task is to maintain the formation and delay for the duration of an incense stick burning. After that, you can leave.

This Large Formation will collapse half a quarter-hour after you depart, and all these Puppets will self-destruct. This half-quarter hour is your best window for escape.

I hope that fate will bring us together again!"

Before departing, Wang Hong instructed the five individuals, providing them with some supplies for future use if they managed to escape.

"Your Majesty! I have a son and a daughter, both on the Flying Boat. I entrust them to Your Majesty's care!"

"Don't worry, I will make sure to nurture them into adulthood and provide them with the best cultivation environment."

Wang Hong and his group bowed respectfully to the five Golden Core Cultivators before swiftly departing.

In just an hour, they reached the seashore, but there was no trace of the Great Chu Immortal Nation group. They had a pre-arranged meeting point, and now they only needed to head in that direction.

Everyone flew through the air toward the west.

Over an hour later, a group of powerful Demonic Beasts arrived at the seaside, though they appeared quite miserable, with tattered bodies.

"These Human Clan members must have crossed the sea. Should we continue pursuing?" asked one of the Demonic Beasts, bearing several wounds.

"Pursue!" The Fish-Faced Demonic Beast was in the best condition, having sustained minimal injuries. It felt a sense of discontent if they were to give up now.

With the Fish-Faced Demonic Beast leading the way, they continued their pursuit together, no longer willing to split up their search. Even if they found their quarry, facing them individually or in pairs would not be enough.

Wang Hong and his group found the vast fleet of Great Chu Immortal Nation's Flying Boats in the distance after just a few hours.

"Welcome back, Your Majesty!" Xu Lun and some Cultivators came to greet them.

Upon returning to the Flying Boats, each of them sought out a separate Cultivation Room. This time, they had given their all in the battles, resulting in various types of injuries that needed healing.

In a small secret chamber, Wang Hong began his cultivation. He had expended a significant amount of energy during the recent battles and had been continuously consuming Ten Thousand-Year Spirit Wine, which had taken a toll on his physical body.

His goal now was to completely refine the residual Spirit Wine within his body.

More than ten days later, Wang Hong emerged from the Cultivation Room, his mental state significantly improved. After continuous battles and the consumption of a substantial amount of Ten Thousand-Year Spirit Wine, he had reached the mid-stage of the Nascent Soul realm.

Simultaneously, the other Cultivators who had participated in the battles had experienced varying degrees of improvement in their strengths.

Jia Liang, like Wang Hong, had also reached the mid-stage of the Nascent Soul realm. Their formal entry into the Nascent Soul stage had not been long ago, but the numerous battles they had faced had indeed facilitated their breakthroughs.

Now that they had achieved these breakthroughs, Wang Hong hoped to encounter the Fish-Faced Demonic Beast again for a challenge. Unfortunately, despite their long journey, they hadn't encountered the creature once more.

After coming out of seclusion, Wang Hong visited each of the major Flying Boats and noticed that they were overcrowded. There weren't enough Flying Boats, and they had carried over ten thousand additional passengers.

With the Flying Boats' current speed, it would take several more months to reach their destination. Given the cramped conditions, everyone was likely experiencing discomfort.

Therefore, Wang Hong once again assigned Chen Xiaofeng to refine tools on the Flying Boats.
