Sitting on the sofa, Schiller was stunned for a moment. He saw a strange person wearing a black skeleton mask burst in, holding a handgun in both hands, the muzzle of the handgun pointed at Gordon sitting on the side sofa.

Seeing this familiar mask, Schiller suddenly remembered that this was the famous DC villain Black Mask, right?

The reason why he is called a famous villain, rather than a renowned one, is that Black Mask's popularity is nowhere near the four big kings - Joker, Penguin, Riddler, and Two-Face. He is not entirely an intellectual villain, and his character design also overlaps with another villain.

"Roman," Schiller called out his name, because even if he didn't know, in the comics, Black Mask is actually Roman Sionis. The voice of the person who burst in also indicated that he was the young man who had previously come to Schiller to ask for a recommendation letter, but was actually the killer in the hospital murder case.

Black Mask seemed to have not expected Schiller to be here. His hand holding the gun hesitated, not knowing who to point the gun at, but Gordon's face darkened, and he stared coldly at Black Mask and said:

"Mr. Sionis, put away your little tricks. What are you planning to do? Knock me down with a small handgun?"

Gordon slowly stood up from the sofa. He didn't reach for the gun at his waist, but stood calmly in place, looking into Roman's eyes under the mask and said, "Do you really know what you're doing? You'll ruin everything the Sionis family has now!"

"Do you really think I care?!" Black Mask raised his voice and said, "That old bastard, he deserves to die just like you!"

"Another tragedy of family education," Schiller shook his head, taking a puff of his cigarette. "Using violent means to educate children, the result can only be violence, and those who submit to authority will want to use violence to establish authority for the rest of their lives."

"Shut up!!!" Black Mask shouted. He turned his head to stare at Schiller, his gaze full of vigilance. He said, "So you were a tough guy! It seems that you had already figured out during your time in Arkham Asylum that I was deliberately arrested, so I was waiting here..."

"No, I didn't." Schiller denied it very seriously, then said, "However, I was indeed amazed at the time that the perpetrator of a serial murder case had such poor psychological quality. If you were just pretending, then everything would make sense."

The vigilance in Black Mask's eye contact did not disappear, and he obviously did not believe Schiller's words at all. He just felt that Schiller's acting skills were superb, without a trace of performance.

In fact, the key problem has been mentioned before. In Gotham, if a person has neither a strong physique nor a fierce temperament, and also lacks sufficient firepower, how did he manage to survive in such a dangerous environment?

A tall, slender, scholarly-looking scholar who can thrive in a chaotic city like Gotham, saying that he knows nothing and sees nothing, no fool would believe it.

Of course, Black Mask would not think of himself as a fool, so he did not believe a word Schiller said.

Moreover, he pretended to be arrested in order to kidnap Commissioner Gordon, and Schiller just happened to appear in Gordon's reception room. What a coincidence in this world?

So Black Mask raised his vigilance to the extreme in his heart. He did not turn the gun muzzle, but continued to point the gun at Gordon, but stared fixedly at Schiller next to him and said, "Since you came here in advance, I suppose you must have a way to deal with me, right?"

"Of course I do," Schiller nodded, and just as Black Mask focused all his attention on Schiller, Schiller turned his head to look at Gordon and said, "It seems he was arrested by you in order to bring him into the police station, bypassing the tight firepower protection outside, but I think you should be able to beat him. If not, I can call Batman."

Gordon opened his mouth slightly, re-examined Black Mask, snorted coldly and said, "What kind of criminals have I not seen? Deal with this little guy, no need to bother Batman."

With that, he drew his service weapon, and the two of them stared at each other like cowboys in the Wild West, ready to attack at any moment. But at this moment, Schiller suddenly stood up, clapped his hands, and attracted the attention of both of them, then said:

"You two, I don't think we necessarily have to use such violent means to deal with the problem, right? We can sit down and talk."

Schiller slowly walked between the two of them. Gordon glanced at his expression and cleared his throat, saying, "I have nothing to talk about with this unrepentant criminal! Even if he is the young master of the Sionis family, he must pay for his crimes!"

Seeing his resolute expression, Schiller shook his head helplessly. He then turned his head to look at Black Mask and said in a gentle tone, "Roman, I believe you are not as evil as you appear to be. If there is something that has forced you to do this, you can find someone to confide in. Of course, as a psychologist, I would be more than happy to chat with you..."

"Hypocritical," Black Mask commented, looking at Schiller who had walked up to him with a cold tone, "You only care about that Bruce Wayne, because he is rich enough. What kind of psychology professor are you? You're just a parasite following in the footsteps of the world's richest person, hoping that Bruce Wayne can give you some benefits, just like those people who chase fame and fortune."

Schiller continued to stroll slowly. He first walked to Black Mask's side, then slowly walked behind him, and said, "You seem to be very concerned about Bruce. Aren't you two friends?"

"Friends?" Black Mask snorted coldly and said, "He is the most disgusting kind of person. I could never be friends with him..."

"Bang!"

Black Mask, who was in the middle of speaking, was immediately knocked to the ground by Schiller, who was holding a broken vase. Schiller shook his head and said, "You really thought I didn't realize you were stalling for time, didn't you?"

Lying on the ground, Black Mask, his head and face covered in blood with shards of the vase scattered around him, was about to get up when Schiller stepped on his back, so he could only lie on the ground, clenching his fist and gritting his teeth, saying, "It's too late, I'll make Batman regret it for the rest of his life!"

"You have an accomplice, don't you?" Schiller's tone was affirmative rather than questioning. He said, "Your common goal is not me, but Bruce Wayne, that is, Batman."

"You staged the serial killings in the hospital, and then used my status as a doctor and serial killer to mislead Batman, making him think the theme of your serial murder case was a doctor who is a serial killer."

"Then your accomplice started calling me, making me think you were targeting me instead of Batman, so that both Batman and I would let our guard down."

"And then you yourself came to me, staged a performance of being angered by being ignored, and finally revealed the crime process."

"You deliberately allowed the police to arrest you and bring you to the police station, escaping from the detention room from the inside, pretending to want to kidnap Gordon, in order to hold up Gordon and the Gotham Police Department, so that your accomplice could do something to Batman."

Schiller shook his head lightly and said, "You always like to make these convoluted plans, but I still prefer to be more direct."

Gordon was just about to step forward to do something, but Schiller picked up the top half of the vase and hit Black Mask on the back of the head again, and after a "bang" sound, Black Mask stopped moving completely.

Gordon swallowed hard, silently withdrawing the foot he had stepped out, and Schiller looked at him and said, "...Give me the gun."

Gordon was slightly taken aback. He looked at Schiller and said, "Didn't you say you don't use guns?"

But he still took off his waist gun and said, "Sorry, I don't have time to find you a new gun now, and the just-off-the-line gun isn't that good either. I think this gun of mine is still pretty good."

What surprised Gordon was that Schiller directly took the gun, without wearing gloves or spraying Venom, and simply put it in the pocket of his coat.

It wasn't until Schiller waved to Gordon and walked out of the Gotham police station that Gordon went to the door, leaning against the doorframe, shaking his head in confusion at Schiller's retreating back.

Getting into his own car, Schiller turned the car key and drove out of the police station parking lot. His target was very clear, but it was not Wayne Manor or the Batcave.

Schiller controlled the car to turn, driving onto a ramp on the southeast side of the central roundabout, which was the direction of Dick's school.

It was obvious that if Black Mask and his group wanted to deal with Batman himself, there was no need to go through so many twists and turns, they could just go straight to Batman.

The reason they wanted to numb Batman and Schiller was because they must not have planned to engage in a frontal battle. This group of serial killers did not care about any dueling spirit, they just wanted to strike the other party with a surprise attack, both physically and mentally.

There was no doubt that harming Batman's important person would definitely deal a heavy blow to Batman, but those who are close to Batman are not many, Catwoman, Gordon, and the children living in Wayne Manor are all their potential targets.

However, their first round of plans was to carry out a two-pronged attack on Gordon's police station and Dick's school, allowing Batman to be unable to take care of both, saving one but not the other.

The reason Schiller thought their other target was Dick rather than Catwoman was that their choice of Gordon showed that they did not seem very confident in their own abilities. Otherwise, they should have directly chosen Schiller as the target, after all, Schiller is also Batman's teacher.

But since they chose the ordinary person Gordon, then their other target was most likely the ordinary person Dick, rather than the skilled Catwoman.

Even if they really chose Catwoman, Catwoman should be able to hold out for a long time, compared to which, Dick is much more fragile, so Schiller decided to go check on Dick first.

It turned out that Schiller's judgment was correct. When he arrived at Dick's school, most of the students had already left, and all the classroom lights were off, except for one window that was still lit, and there were two figures standing in front of it.

Schiller pushed open the classroom door and was stunned by the scene inside.

In the center of the classroom, Dick was tied to a chair, but he didn't seem to be injured, just unable to move or speak.

And in front and behind the classroom, there were two completely identical Batmen, in terms of build, appearance, costume, and expression on their faces.

Schiller stood there blankly.

What is this? Real-life Monkey King? Is the Sino-American co-production finally going to be released?
