When Schiller arrived at the Gotham Police Station, Gordon warmly welcomed him. This was evidenced by all the heavy weapons being aimed at Schiller, just in case he suddenly pulled out something and blew up the police station.

Schiller didn't mind at all and was quite satisfied with the security measures.

Nowadays, the firepower of the Gotham Police Station is unparalleled. They have various heavy weapons and large-caliber artillery. Due to increased funding, the number of armed police officers has tripled, with each one fully equipped. They also have specially customized armored police vehicles provided by Wayne Enterprises, making them a force to be reckoned with, even by the Twelve Families.

Additionally, the previous Police Station Director had unfortunately sacrificed himself, so Gotham Police Station currently has no Director. However, it's only a matter of time before Gordon, as the detective with the highest academic qualifications, most seniority, and greatest achievements, is appointed to the position.

Schiller and Gordon went to the reception room of the police station. Schiller looked around at the decor and said, "It looks like this place has been renovated, the style is quite nice."

"That's because we need to attract more talents this way," Gordon said as he pulled a pack of expensive cigars from under the table. Schiller raised an eyebrow, as those cigars were quite rare and valuable in Gotham.

"I've noticed a problem," Gordon said. "When I go and talk to the police academy students about upholding justice, it's hard to inspire them. But if I show them photos of the luxurious renovations, cigars, and fine wines, a lot of them get tempted."

"Aren't you worried they're just in it for the money?" Schiller asked.

Gordon looked at Schiller with some surprise and said, "How can you not know? Aside from me, who in this police station isn't here for the money?"

"But no matter what they're here for, they still have to do the work. In this hellish place called Gotham, those willing to go out and work are already worthy partners of justice. If they're even willing to work night shifts, they can be considered true champions of justice. A little extra pay is well-deserved."

Schiller nodded, understanding that in a place like Gotham where no one is willing to come even for money, those who do at least have a sense of justice and the determination to risk their lives are already quite excellent police officers, as long as they are properly equipped.

"You said a Serial Killer is targeting you. What's that about? Do they want to learn from you?" Gordon asked Schiller.

Schiller gave a helpless expression and said, "Do you think I'm a Serial Killer too?"

"No, no, no," Gordon said, looking at Schiller's face. "You're much scarier than a Serial Killer. I think you must be the kind of Professor who teaches Serial Killers how to murder, like the ultimate villain in TV dramas, Moriarty, you know?"

"You're giving me way too much credit," Schiller shook his head, picked up a pair of scissors and trimmed his cigar, then said, "I don't have nearly as much talent as that Professor. I came to Gotham in the first place to hide from my enemies."

"Oh, right, about those KGB guys last time..." Gordon trailed off.

"What are you worrying about?" Schiller smiled and said to Gordon, "If they really can liberate Gotham, won't you be able to realize your dream?"

Gordon thought about it and nodded, "That's true."

"Anyway, I need your help. If you don't mind, I'd like to stay in the police station for a few days, to hide from the troubles outside," Schiller looked at Gordon expectantly.

Gordon snorted and said, "So you finally admitted the truth. You must have some convoluted big plan to pit Batman, or someone similar, and are afraid of them seeking revenge, that's why you want to hide in here, right?"

"You've figured it all out," Schiller took a puff of his cigar, leaning back on the sofa, and looked at Gordon's piercing gaze. He gently exhaled the smoke and said, "Alright, I do have a plan. Or rather, it's not really my plan."

"You should know that I have Dissociative Identity Disorder. The Schiller you know is actually one of my personas," Schiller explained briefly, without going into too much detail.

"You must have noticed that Batman has undergone major changes. He has found his own path and his own ideology, which is simply put, to fundamentally eliminate Criminals by dealing with society's problems."

Gordon nodded, "That's correct. If everyone had their basic needs met, the crime rate would definitely drop."

"But in this world, there are some people who are born psychotic. Even if they are well-fed and clothed, and can fulfill all their desires, they still want to kill, and take pleasure in it."

"Dealing with society's problems alone cannot thoroughly deal with these people. Batman's Professor, who is another one of my personas, thinks it's necessary to remind him of this, and believes Batman should accumulate some practical experience in advance."

"You mean..." Gordon trailed off.

Schiller took another puff of his cigar and slowly spoke, "Simply put, finding a few psychopathic killers for him to practice on... Don't look at me like that, I'm just an ordinary person."

Seeing Gordon's expression of "you're just making excuses", Schiller sighed helplessly and continued, "But that Professor has some matters to attend to and can't control the body for now, so he entrusted this task to me."

"To complete this task, I need to find a way to contact those serial killers. Coincidentally, the previous Professor had established a club, where through various literary publications, the serial killers can communicate and exchange with each other."

Gordon's eyes widened slowly, and his expression became one of "you're actually not denying it?!" He raised his voice and said, "You established a serial killer club?!"

"Don't overreact," Schiller waved his hand. "And I already said, that wasn't me, it was that Professor."

"I thought about it," Schiller stroked his chin. "Calling the serial killers one by one is too much trouble, so I used the characteristics of that club to summon them all at once."

Gordon's eyes were about to pop out, and Schiller had a smug expression as he said, "The way this club operates is simple. In the published articles, we include some coded messages that only our own people can understand."

"When the readers discover these coded messages, they will realize that the article is written by one of their own kind, and they can then ponder the views expressed in the article or write another article to refute it."

"At the same time, we also agree on a time. After a murder case is reported in the local newspaper, the perpetrator will use a special code to claim the case, and the others will then know the modus operandi and details of the crime, allowing them to 'academically exchange' on the killer's level."

Gordon shuddered, looking at Schiller's nonchalant expression, feeling a chill down his back.

"After I took over the body, I found that the previous Professor had almost completed a paper. The main structure and important parts were already written, just missing some details."

"So I made a few minor modifications to the paper," Schiller said.

Gordon's expression stiffened, and he had a bad feeling about this. "...What did you modify?"

"Simply put, I puffed up Gotham, the Gotham vigilante Batman, and myself!" Schiller laughed and said, "I created an atmosphere of 'if you don't come to Gotham, you're not a real hero'."

"In the paper, I emphasized Gotham's hellish law and order situation, its crazy, chaotic, and evil atmosphere, and the traffic rules that even demons have to yield to."

"Then I contrasted that with the powerful Gotham vigilante Batman. I portrayed him as having unparalleled intelligence, deductive abilities, high-tech equipment, and an unwavering will among all intelligent beings, able to come and go freely in this hell-like city, striking fear into all Criminals."

"And then, using Batman as a foil, I built up the image of the world's most powerful psychologist, Schiller Rodriguez, which is me," Schiller laughed, slapping his thigh.

"I don't often get the chance to boast about myself like this! I portrayed myself as an extremely powerful psychologist who can even treat Batman, becoming the Criminals' biggest headache, unrivaled by anyone. Hahaha!"

Gordon looked at Schiller's smiling face with some confusion. After Schiller finished laughing, he looked at Gordon and said, "What's wrong? Don't you think this is funny? I used an exaggerated story to contrast another exaggerated story, and then another exaggerated story..."

"...Where's the exaggeration?" Gordon asked.

"Isn't it exaggerated?" Schiller paused, then asked hesitantly, "I exaggerated, right?... Or not?"

Gordon's expression didn't change, he just shook his head quickly and said, "If you had the TV station come and make a documentary, I'd still find it too subtle."

Not getting the expected reaction, Schiller pouted a bit, then shrugged and said, "Anyway, that's how it is. Those overly arrogant guys definitely won't accept it, so there will surely be a lot of people coming to Gotham, and they'll definitely clash with Batman. This will give him plenty of practice."

"And if Batman can eliminate them all... Oh, no, even half of them would be fine. If the club's members are reduced by half, I can update the codes more slowly..."

"And if their attention is all on me, they won't go after Batman. So I plan to hide out here for a while. The Gotham Police Station should be a pretty good hiding spot, don't you think?"

Gordon sighed and said, "You can stay here, but do you really think you can hide from those Serial Killers?"

"Can't I? Isn't this the legendary 'darkness under the lamp'?" Schiller asked.

"No, that's not what I mean," Gordon shook his head, then leaned back and looked Schiller up and down from head to toe, until Schiller started feeling uneasy, then Gordon spoke, "Schiller, have you ever felt that you're a bit... unlucky?"

"Unlucky?" Schiller was very puzzled. "How am I unlucky? I feel like my luck is pretty..."

"Boom! Crash!"

"Commissioner Gordon, we meet again! Now put your hands on your head and get down on the ground! Or else... Schiller?!?"
