"Those were the most glorious years of Asgard..."

A hint of pride crept into Lady Loki's voice, and as she slowly narrated, Mobius, who had read these stories countless times, couldn't help but be drawn in.

"A thousand sails competing, ten thousand nations bowing, wherever the cannons pointed, there was justice. Asgard's fleet had set foot in every corner of space, and the All-Father's reputation was known to all. A civilization that originated from the planet's oceans finally rode the wind and waves in the sea of stars..."

"In that prosperous Golden Age, there was not a single God of Asgard who was not proud of our strength. Similarly, no one realized that the root of the disaster had gradually emerged..."

"Hela was born in that era, the pearl on the crown, the favored child protected by the Giant Wave Fleet."

"Perhaps you think that Thor is the most like Odin, but in fact, before Odin stopped mentioning Hela, he told everyone that Hela would be the future queen of Asgard."

"This eldest princess inherited all the virtues of the All-Father, powerful, strong-willed, with an innate military mind, able to intimidate the generals under her command and make them fight for her with all their hearts."

"At that time, almost everyone felt that Hela represented a more prosperous and glorious future for Asgard."

"But when this princess truly grew up, Odin realized that Asgard was facing a destined end of destruction."

"After endless destruction and conquest, there would be the inevitable Ragnarok. Regardless of whether we stopped or not, we would all die. But Odin knew that he had to try to stop this war machine."

"So Hela's existence became a tragedy. She was a queen born for aggression and destruction, but Odin didn't want her to drive the chariot and lead Asgard straight into Ragnarok."

Lady Loki lowered her head and pursed her lips. A hint of pain finally appeared on her face. She asked herself and answered, "Was it Odin's fault? Perhaps it was. Was it Hela's fault? Perhaps it was too. But the most innocent of them all was Hela's mother, Frigga."

"The war between father and daughter was inevitable. No matter who won in the end, Frigga could only be heartbroken."

"This was a scar she could never forget. The first child she gave birth to, the daughter she had high hopes for, could only be forever locked in a desolate kingdom because of this destined tragedy."

Mobius's eyebrows twitched slightly. He was obviously a little moved. Lady Loki continued,

"Perhaps you are wondering why there are so few female Lady Lokis in such a vast space?"

"This is actually because the All-Father would never allow a prince who should have taken on responsibility to escape his responsibility by transforming into a goddess. Odin would be ashamed of this."

"But the reason he allowed me to do so was because it was almost the only way to mend Frigga's inner trauma." Lady Loki's gaze fell on Mobius's face again. She looked at him intently and said,

"Odin, Thor, and I are all trying our best to weave a beautiful dream for a heartbroken mother: a powerful and responsible husband, a successful son who inherits the family business, a sensible, obedient, and gentle daughter... We give her everything she wants."

Lady Loki's eye contact became a little dull. Even if Mobius didn't ask, she muttered to herself, "But we all know that dreams will eventually be shattered."

"Ragnarok is like a sharp blade hanging over our heads. Under such immense pressure, the act of filial piety cannot be performed for too long."

"I understand that I must take action in order to join forces with Thor and turn the tide. Thor feels the same way."

"But I have no status, unable to showcase my abilities. With each passing second, the pressure increases."

"The reason I have no status is because Asgard has never had a prince. Every God-King who ascends the throne has killed their father and brother, standing alone, in order to possess the most powerful rule."

"Now, these traditions and rules have become our shackles." Lady Loki closed his eyes in pain and said, "I can become Thor's subject, a failure, a dog for him to control, but I cannot be his brother because we cannot remind people of why other God-Kings have no brothers."

"I no longer have time to play the obedient and ineffectual prince in front of Frigga."

"I need power to save all of Asgard with Thor, to ensure our survival, instead of letting Frigga perish in her dreams."

Mobius covered his face with both hands and said, "Because you know that I have nothing to do with the Space you are in, that's why you dare to speak to me like this, isn't it?"

"I should have asked you to leave earlier!" Mobius's tone revealed anguish. "You successfully transferred your emotional pressure onto me. Why does every royal family have such ridiculous matters?"

Lady Loki smiled self-deprecatingly and said, "Even though every royal family has such plots, Asgard must be the most melodramatic one."

Mobius gestured in front of himself, as if wanting to say something but finding words inadequate. He pondered for a moment and then spoke:

"Actually, what you mean is that you hope to have greater power, to showcase your abilities, and help your elder brother overcome Ragnarok and save everyone."

"But if you truly gain greater power, wouldn't it undermine the authority of the royal family and even Thor's rule?"

Mobius took a deep breath and said, "What if you stand behind the scenes?"

"We are already doing that now," Lady Loki shook his head and said, "but it's still not enough. Asgard has too few capable people, yet there are too many issues to consider. The traditional way of ruling is inefficient."

"The excessive centralization of power allowed Asgard to be undefeated in war. The God-King is the only brain of Asgard. Wherever he points, the fleet fires without objections or dissent..."

"But this system is not suitable for peacetime Asgard. We need economy, culture, diplomacy, not just firing cannons. Even if we have to use cannons, it should be as a means of diplomatic deterrence. We need to learn how to seize interests through civilization."

"On one hand, reducing destruction can prolong our probationary period. On the other hand, the resources accumulated through internal development and external trade will become our capital to counter Ragnarok."

"The era of military rule is over, and the heir prepared for that era cannot balance many aspects of civil governance. But if we want to break tradition and promote the talented, we will undoubtedly face great resistance..."

"And the greatest resistance comes from Odin."

Upon hearing these words, Mobius looked around and extended a hand, saying, "Wait for a moment!... Guards! Guards! Close the door! Make sure no one comes in!"

He sat in place, swallowed nervously, and looked at Lady Loki, saying, "I promise that these words will not leave this room. Don't look at me with those eyes as if I'm a dead man. I swear..."

He then grabbed his hair in frustration and said, "Why didn't I just leave? Why did I bring up this topic?!"

"Damn it, I thought those Loki bastards were crazy enough! But they're just crazy enough to die without admitting guilt, and you actually want... Are you serious?!"

Watching his reaction, Lady Loki suddenly revealed a mocking smile. Mobius stood there dumbfounded, then widened his eyes and angrily slammed the table, saying, "Damn it! You're playing me!!"

"Well, have you experienced the abilities of the God of Mischief? Ever since I met that damn psychologist, I learned a thing or two from him. As long as I'm more serious and crazier than you, you'll feel fear... Setting the atmosphere is very important."

Mobius gritted his teeth and stared at him. Soon, he reacted and looked at a device on his waist. He took off the machine and tapped it with his hand, confusedly saying, "What's going on? Why didn't it go off? Could it be broken?"

"Is this your lie detector?" Lady Loki chuckled and took a puff of her cigarette. She said, "If it is, then it's not broken because everything I said is true."

"... Do you really want to kill Odin?" Mobius stared at him and asked.

Lady Loki shook her head and said, "What kind of fool would want to kill Odin? Besides the fact that a Great King like him is crucial to Asgard, how could I kill Odin?"

"Uh..." Mobius was caught off guard. He was about to say that if she could rise above Space, maybe it's possible, but then he remembered what Lady Loki had told him, that she had the title but not the power.

"In fact, I have no idea what Odin thinks." Lady Loki rested her hand on the armrest and said, "But I hold a pessimistic attitude towards it."

"If Thor gave me power and position, it would be like saying that Odin is a cruel and heartless person who doesn't love his father and brother. If he were already dead, that would be one thing, but he's still alive."

"Odin is someone who never admits his mistakes." Lady Loki shook her head, and her black hair once again covered half of her face, making her look very desolate.

"Frigga avoided Thor and wanted the two of us to talk. I don't know whether my soft-hearted and sentimental mother expected her stubborn and cold husband to change his attitude, or she hoped that after his outright refusal, he would say something to comfort me."

"You... You really have no intention of talking to him?" Mobius furrowed his eyebrows, clearly feeling that this matter was indeed difficult to deal with. He said, "Or maybe, you could test his attitude... Just in case?"

"Anyone can talk to him about this, except for me." Lady Loki shook her head and said,

"My biological father is his enemy. He picked me up, raised me all this time. Can I go to him and say, 'What you've given me isn't enough,' or 'Not letting me share the power of your biological son means you don't love me'?"

"I'd rather confront him, make him furious, and then let him scold me."

Lady Loki turned her head away, but Mobius slowly lifted the corners of his mouth and said, "I always thought Frigga was your biggest weakness, but I never expected..."

Lady Loki took a deep breath and said in an incredulous tone,

"The methods taught by that psychologist were right."

"Just now, I confronted him in front of his wife, but besides scolding me, he did nothing."

"That's why I'd rather run away and go to prison than ask him for anything."
