Ever since Wang Hong and his party settled in Yunxia Mountain, the place had been bustling with activity.

Ore from the mines had begun to be extracted, and although they had only recruited two thousand miners, these individuals were now well-fed and in gradually improving health. Their work efficiency had surpassed that of their earlier days.

As for those Mortals who had departed at the time, they hadn't gone far. Instead, they settled in the vicinity of Yunxia Mountain. The current times were troubled, and staying nearby provided them with a sense of security.

They all built simple houses and cultivated the land, resulting in the surrounding areas of Yunxia Mountain being dotted with villages of various sizes.

Most of the people living here had one or two family members working in Yunxia Mountain, and the earnings were enough to help their families through the current difficult period.

Apart from the housing for over two thousand cultivators, Yunxia Mountain's other areas had been transformed into spirit fields. Most of these were just first-tier spirit fields, with a few small second-tier ones, and only two small third-tier spirit fields on the mountaintop.

"East Master, now that our spirit fields have been cultivated, what kind of Spiritual Herbs should we plant?" Xu Lun inquired after the completion of the spirit fields.

"For the first-tier spirit fields, divide them into three parts. One part will be used for planting first-tier Spiritual Herbs and spirit fruits, another part for first-tier Spirit Grain, and the remaining part will be dedicated to nurturing demon-hunting trees," Wang Hong explained, having planned this out in advance.

"Ah? Do we need so many demon-hunting trees?" Xu Lun asked, surprised.

"We may not need them all ourselves, but I have an idea that requires us to cultivate a large quantity of demon-hunting trees," Wang Hong said slowly.

"That is…" Xu Lun was puzzled.

"We can discuss that later. Our immediate priority is to handle the current matters. As for the second-tier spirit fields, allocate half for planting second-tier Spiritual Herbs and spirit fruits and the other half for second-tier Spirit Grain. Regarding the third-tier spirit fields on the mountaintop, since we don't have many third-tier Spiritual Herbs, let's plant them all there. Also, arrange for all the spirit ore mined from the caves to be refined, with each material given to me. I'll use them in combination with the materials I acquired from the Demon Clan in our previous trade to design several types of Spiritual Weapons."

After Wang Hong had delegated these tasks to Xu Lun, he entered the spatial realm. During this time, he had been contemplating how to set up a mountain-protecting Large Formation that could cover the entirety of Yunxia Mountain.

While configuring a second-tier formation posed no significant challenge to him, the idea of establishing a third-tier Large Formation proved to be considerably more difficult.

To overcome this hurdle, he had sought guidance from the experienced Sloppy Old Daoist numerous times. As an elder and an expert in formations, Sloppy Old Daoist's advice had proven immensely valuable to Wang Hong.

Sloppy Old Daoist's cultivation level had now recovered to the later stages of Foundation Building, and he was on the verge of entering the Golden Core realm once again. As someone who had previously reached the Golden Core realm, he merely needed to rebuild his foundation and accumulate enough energy to directly form a Golden Core.

Wang Hong drifted through the spatial realm, continuously pondering the arrangement of the formation. The major challenge he faced at present was the lack of sufficient materials for the formation. Setting up a third-tier formation required numerous third-tier materials.

However, he had only recently advanced to the Golden Core stage, and it had been challenging for him to come into contact with third-tier materials before. Now that he had formed his Golden Core, he had stepped into this new tier, but without the East Zhou Cultivation Realm, whom could he trade with?

Currently, he had only a limited supply of third-tier Spiritual Objects left, most of which he had obtained through trade with the Demon Clan or by looting.

With these thoughts in mind, he muttered to himself, "Should I trade with the Demon Clan again?"

He considered that after the Demon Clan occupied East Zhou, they should have acquired a significant number of Spiritual Objects. However, the Demon Clan had little interest in cultivation and had a low utilization rate for these materials. Their innate talents and abilities made them less reliant on magical arts, tool refinement, or advanced cultivation techniques compared to humans.

Wang Hong pondered this in the spatial realm. Although the Demon Clan might possess abundant materials, he was not yet familiar with the surrounding Demonic Beasts, so he was hesitant to engage in trade with the Demon Clan for now.

With the current materials at his disposal, he had to set up the Large Formation as best as he could. He planned to make improvements once he obtained more materials in the future.

He continued to contemplate quietly in the spatial realm. Occasionally, he would have ideas and conduct experiments outside the spatial realm.

As he floated above the Qiu Long Tea tree on one occasion, he noticed that a particular group of leaves on the tea tree appeared different from the rest. These leaves were larger, thicker, and had a jade-like quality, emitting a soft iridescence.

Wang Hong curiously circled the tea tree and discovered that only this special cluster of leaves had grown on the entire tree. This was the Qiu Long Tea tree that he had transplanted from a secret realm years ago.

He quickly checked other tea trees and found that they were all normal, not producing these unique leaves.

"Has it mutated?" Wang Hong wondered silently. He had noticed that the quality and effects of the Qiu Long Tea had improved over the past few years.

He gently plucked this special tea leaf and exited the spatial realm. Examining the mutated tea leaf carefully, he felt a subtle fragrance that lingered in his nostrils, bringing him a sense of tranquility and joy.

Typically, Spirit Tea required refinement, but for this mutated Spirit Tea, he had never heard of a refining process, and he certainly had no experience in it. It would be a shame to damage it.

With this in mind, he decided not to refine the tea leaf but instead poured a cup of Spirit Spring Water and placed the leaf directly into the cup.

Then, something peculiar occurred. The tea leaf dissolved into the Spirit Spring Water after entering it. Gradually, the once-clear Spirit Spring Water turned green. In the end, the tea leaf disappeared entirely, and the cup of tea became a vivid shade of green.

Wang Hong took a sniff and felt that it still retained the same aromatic fragrance. He took a small sip and remarked, "Hmm! It's not poisonous, and it tastes excellent!"

Slowly, he finished the entire cup of tea. At this moment, he felt his mind become exceptionally clear, his thinking became agile, and it seemed that he could understand any matter with just a moment's contemplation.

With this newfound energy, he believed it shouldn't go to waste. He began pondering unresolved matters that had puzzled him for a long time.

He re-entered the spatial realm, and that same sensation persisted. Within just a few days in the spatial realm, he managed to design the three-tier protective formation.
