Solo with the Full Fretboard - Connecting Shapes 1 and 2 (Patreon)

Sorry for not posting yesterday, I picked up a food born illness in the Colombian coast it has had me bed ridden for the last 4 days.

In this lesson I am going to show you how to connect scale shapes. We are only going to be connecting scale shapes 1 and 2 as this is going to be a two part lesson with the next part I am going to show you how to play a full solo that uses the entire fretboard and all the scale shapes. To learn to solo with the full fretboard you have to first

Focus on the timing and really lesson to the resolution. Learning to solo on an instrument is a lot of moving pieces, but the idea is that you focus on timing and resolution, phrasing is essentially crafting licks, how to get licks to connect with each other and how to put them all together into a solo.
