Are you ready for something compleltly different? Today we are playing a James Hill Style percussive Ukulele beat. The idea is to try to transform our Ukulele into a drum set and a bass drum and a snare drum effect to our strum pattern. The PDF will provide a road map and an explantation but most of your learning will take place with the video. Enjoy!

So so fun! I just discovered this when I was looking for how to 'chuck'/'chunk' UPWARDS but this is more fun! I traded the last downstrum for that snap at the end and it sounds so funky! Thanks for this lesson!

You are very welcome Mandy! Also, the upward chunk, the best way to get that sound is to actually mute the strings with your left hand, or your fretting hand, for example if you are playing a barre chord you release the pressure then strum up, that is the best way to get that muted sound. I hope that helps!
