Every feel like you know the scale but you are constantly lost in what you play and it doesn't sound like music? Well, the area you should focus on is phrasing, or the notes you play, and more specifically resolutoin, or the last note you play. We are focus on the root note today, or the first note of the chord. For C7, it would be C, for F7 it is F and for G7 it is G and how we can use our minor penatonic scale with the blues to play all those notes and use them as the last note to resolve, or finish, or musical ideas. No licks, just a scale and some concepts to help you internalize these ideas, enjoy!
