12 Bar Blues - Open C Slide Blues with Tasty Licks

New Ukulele Tutorials every Wednesday and Saturday Today we are rocking out a 12 blues in the key of C... with an open C tuning! This is easily the easiest open tuning to get started with... easily. This lesson will look at the tuning and how to get there, by dropping the A string a whole step to the G. After that we will break down the 12 bar blues 4 measures at a time. The rhythm that follows a nice basic diatonic groove with some cool extensions hitting the b7th, giving the 12 bar the full blues flavor. After we go through the whole piece we will learn 3 very cool fills, each one with its own flavor, rhythm, and intervals, making each one very different and fun to play. Once we get those 3 lick we will position them in the sane 12 bar taking it our brand new blues to a whole new level.
