Level Up Your Scale & Rhythm Skills - Turning C Minor Pentatonic Scale into Music

New Ukulele Tutorials every Wednesday and Saturday Today we are doing a scale lesson that is meant to accomplish a couple of things. You will improve your mastery of the use of the C minor pentatonic scale, you will be able to play the scale in combination with drums and jams, in time, you will be able to blend the scale with the chords and you will feel very confident with the shapes 5, 1 and 2. The lesson also goes through all the chords in the key of C minor and its relative major, Eb, which are Eb, Fm, Gm, Ab, Bb, Cm, Ddim, so you can take those shapes, compose your own chord progressions with your own strum patterns and then take the skills that you have learned with with scale and mix them in and jam with them as well. The idea is to show you to use scales on the ukulele, how to turn scales into music, how to use scales in a musical context.
