The king of outlaw country, the man in black, sprinkled in with some key changes and an iconic riff, let's do it. Today we are going to learn how to play "Walk The Line" by the late great Johnny Cash. This song was so iconic that it was also used as the title for the movie about Johnny Cash's life. Joaquin Phoenix did a great job with his portrayal of this giant music icon. There is no real way of knowing this but I am pretty sure that Johnny Cash knew more songs than anyone else on earth with the exception of MAYBE Woody Guthrie or Bob Dylan.

The song is interesting to say the least, it has a fun Bum-Ditty strum pattern throughout and well as 4 key changes! It just keeps going down lower and lower and lower and lower, if you want to though you could play the entire song just in the key of F to keep it easier on your voice. The intro to the tutorial is the ionic guitar riff as well played on the ukulele with the harmony too, so if you are playing with a friend one of you can do the strum pattern and the other one can do the riff.

Will improve

Great lesson, I am going to do it. And fall over and crack up while trying to get that low! " I keep a close watch on this heart of mine. " Such poetic lyrics!
