Today we are going to learn how to play 5 licks that were directly inspired by the solo to La Grange. This song is a blistering opus in C minor with Billy Gibbons shredding like a wild man for almost a full minute. Realistically the solo would be almost impossible to replicate note for note on the ukulele and even if it was done so it wouldn't be that fun to play, this five licks will give you a strong basis that you need to shred and solo over the song.

Will improve

  • Triplets
  • Jamming in C minor
  • Fast place licks
  • Root and 5th note resolution
  • Mixing rhtyhms
  • 16ths
