These are some genres that I would like to explore, I am curious what you think and which genre interests you most, feel free to suggest other styles in the the comment section!

Blues will always be something that we do here because blues is the easiest and best way to learn to communicate with another musician, improvise, and jam, it really is the best way to learn to play your instrument instead of just playing songs, but there are soooo many other interesting genres out there. 

They all have their strong points. Jazz we get to learn a lot about chord construction, Bossa Nova too, but with exotic rhythm, speaking of exotic rhythm salsa has that in spades. Tango is just a basic 2/4 with down strokes but the chord progressions are very interesting. Classical I wouldn't even know where to begin and I am doing my best to learn some Flamenco as we speak haha.
