Today we are back to mastering scales and today we are looking at shape 3 of the minor pentatonic. We have done these exercises with shape 1 and shape 2. The idea behind these exercises. A lot of times when people are trying to solo with a scale they have trouble making it not sound like a scale, that is primarily because you are just practicing it in order. These are 9 exercises to make it so you are not only playing the ukulele scales perfectly, you will be able to play them upside down, inside out, outside in, in order and out of order, triplet and swing time, etc. Incorporate these into your warm ups your ability to both improvise and create melody will improve dramatically.
