Loser - Grateful Dead (Patreon)

Today we are going to learn how to play Loser by the Grateful Dead. Basically 4 verses with a bridge in the middle Jerry. The intro is this really cool A minor arpeggio/riff that touches on the blue scale but really flexes the dead's ability to take a 1 chord, just one 1 chord, and make it magic. In the intro there are about 3 guitars playing and if you listen to the song live than you'll hear something different every single time that they play it.
The verse isn't really a repetitive loop but rather a 16 bar verse that has a chord progression that is constantly changing, so you'll need to take the time to learn the verse but once you do get the 16 bar loop you'll basically just play that over and over again, as it happens the same in all 4 verses with the exception of a bridge after the 2nd verse that is followed by bridge and then a solo. On the recording the solo is just 8 measures of A minor, but live sometimes the band solos over the verse progression so if you are jamming with your friends you can choose.
