Today we are going to learn how to play Diamonds on the Inside by Ben Harper. This guy and Jack Johnson make up the sound track to any great day surfing with your friends and this laid back acoustic song is no exception. The groove is amazing, and we can take it to the next level with a couple simple tricks that when applied to any chord progression make the chords come alive and give them a ton of flavor. This song is so much fun to play with all the little tricks he adds to the rhythm It is based on a relatively easy strum pattern from G to A minor to B minor back to G but there are so many cool little twists that we can add to it to make it super unique and a lot of fun to play.
