Today we are going to take that 12 bar to the next level by adding a strum pattern to it. Not only are we going to add a strum pattern but we are going to show adding slight variations to our strum pattern throughout the 12 bar can intensify the chord changes adding movement and dynamics to your 12 bar blues, sometimes it is as simple as just adding an extra up before a chord change! We will be using old faithful, D DU UDU, the ultimate super easy beginner strum pattern as the foundation for what we are doing but I also included blank tab 12 bar blues in the free printable tabs to create your own 12 bar!   

Here is how to enter and maybe win yourself a brand new Ukulele from Tenthumbs! It works like this all you have to do is tape yourself doing all 10 days and upload them to instagram and tag us @Tenthumbspro. If you complete all 10 days you are entered to win a Ukulele! You have until May 1st to complete all 10 videos.

Nice! It is great for the classic latino and spanish progressions that go from E minor to B7 because you just move the shape up and down a string.
