Day 4 has of our #10DayBluesChallenge has arrived and we are taking a look at the turnaround. This is a crucial part of the 12 bar blues, it is where the verse wraps up and the artists uses a very cool little hot lick to create discord and resolution, pushing the harmony and melody from its ending point back to where we started. Some tips to keep this ukulele turnaround beginner. TAKE IT SLOW. Don't worry about the whole 12 bar, just focus on these two bars. Count it out loud and use the tabs. Say the notes as you play them, even learn to read it without playing it. If you can say it out loud, you can play it out loud. If you are feeling overwhelmed by this lesson put it into smaller pieces, you can do this! Once you have nailed this beginner you can put it into context in a whole 12 bar and you will see how much life it will give your 12 bar blues, adding this turnaround at the end will take your 12 bar blues to a whole new level!
