Hey everyone, just a reminder you have until 12:00 midnight EST to get your submissions in! Just play the first lesson you learned with us and email it to tenthumbsproductions@gmail.com and we will give your entry a number. At 2pm EST I will go live on Patreon, for all Patreons to watch, and with a random number generator and I will call our winners. An interesting exercise. It got me to go back and look at all the lessons I've tried. As near as I can figure, it was Cat Stevens "The Wind" that got me to actually get on Patreon. Anything by Cat Stevens, John Prine, or The Doors gets me going. I started out learning simple Hank Williams songs. When I found your videos I was mostly learning from Cynthia Lin. I still think she is pretty great. But your range of music styles and style of teaching is more enjoyable to me. The blues stuff is particularly interesting. So, I feel I've learned a lot from you since Oct 1917. I'm not going to enter this contest. I've slowed down a lot on my practice because it tears up my fingernails so bad. I'm eating a lot of jello and practicing about 2 hours a week. Anyway, thanks for all that you do.
