New Ukulele Tutorials every Wednesday and Saturday, subscribe and learn. Today we are going to learn how to play "Higher Ground" by Stevie Wonder and covered masterfully by Red Hot Chili Peppers. This particular tutorial combines both versions and really focuses on the common points that they have. One of the bigger differences in the two songs in that Stevie's version is actually in E flat minor and The Red Hot Chili Peppers play it in E minor. This tutorial will cover a mostly basic strumming version that you can play and sing without too many bells and whistles, we will include the melody to the verse as well and an intro riff that you can play over the intro with another ukulele or you can play the riff instead of the intro. The riff also works great as a substitute for the bridge as well.
