A little reminder to people (Patreon)

Anything I post that says WIP or unstable it is meant to be treated as such, previous versions this was less of an issue because of how limited things were before sb source leaks, the potential for me to do something absolutely game breaking by accident wasn’t very high, now if I do something wrong it has a much higher potential to fuck things up engine side, if you are going to try these out, do make backups, I do play on them myself a little bit, but my primary view is extremely fixated on whatever feature I’m working towards, things often get accidentally broke off to the side while I do that
So I absolutely want to stress, if I do not openly say “this version is stable” I don’t expect people to be actively playing on it, I expect people to look at it, review the progress, and give feedback on what needs work, but you also get first look at new features and input on how they develop
Weekly versions are tood for control, for knowing exactly which state the code was in when I gave it to people, and what state it was in the time before, lets me know the exact period a new issue might have cropped up if people report on it, if I posted daily it would be so much harder to track down because people might have one a day out of date or etc
Main thing is I don’t want people to get worked up over one bad version with a big problem, it was quickly identified, and I was able to get rid of it for the next
Right now there isn’t much “new” really because it’s re-laying the foundations of the mod to no longer be based around bugs and workarounds we had to do when limited to lua, and I’m also re-learning how to go about things now that possibilities are more open to do things the game just should have done, we’re probably close to it being at the very least on even ground with 2.8 but on shiny new foundations rather than the figurative mud we were in before, thats the goal right now, after that, getting my website up while I have the proper feature poll running here
