alright so what were the big winners?

In order of what got the most votes

Those three are the main ones I'm going to shoot for completing this month, part of the work already started a bit before the poll closed because I didn't foresee anything suddenly shooting ahead

as for the runner ups that I may put work towards if I feel like it

Sentient fat + some thiccening

again remember this isn't the minecraft mob vote so its not like the ideas that didn't win won't ever be done, however, I may be flip flopping each month on whether I focus on feature updates, vs content updates if that makes sense

for example, this update is what I'm going to classify as a feature update, this one adds new things in that require new code and expand existing functionality somewhat, whereas say, an update that adds a new set of characters or species to play as I'd more regard as a content update

as for what work has been done the past two weeks, you'll find that one of those options the (prey come with you when you warp) has already been implemented! there was a test version last week where it was functional but had some issues, which have all been solved this week and I plan to post that one here.

There was also a cool side effect of how I implemented it, it also makes you persist inside a pred (including NPCs) when you logout of the game, and then log back in. NPCs will also stay inside you upon logout as long as nobody else loads that area (which shouldn't ever be an issue for singleplayer)

I have plans for how I'm going to make the masturbate anims work with the compatible humanoid species with only the need to add a few more frames to the cock and boob animations, and then use existing frames in the humanoid species' arms that are used for bows in combination with some arm rotations, and using some particles for dripping and spurting fluids from cock/pussy/boobs

once I have the animations done, I'm going to make them available from the SBQ controller from the left side of its radial menu which currently is unused iirc, and NPCs will likely periodically trigger them depending on current lust value, with a paired dialogue line, which will probably be fun for people who are in said location having a tease directed at them, particularly so for the Cock/Pussy/Boob TF enjoyers out there

as for the third winner, the evil colony deed, I have extensive plans for it, likely too much for me to do all in one update, but I should be able to get the base first part of it in at least, that being a colony deed that will spawn in hostile NPCs the plan for this is allowing players to design their own "dungeons" containing hostile NPC preds. Some existing NPCs may have a hostile version from this deed, some may be exclusive to the friendly deed, some future NPCs may be exclusive to the evil deed, anyway I'll go more on about it when it starts actively being worked on.

The current plan for it will be, these deeds will have a longer timer for their respawn, and they will have some way to configure what "team" they're on, with one NPC on that team being assigned as the "boss" and everyone else on the team being their mooks. As for plans on how this works, mooks will not respawn from their deed unless the boss visits their deed to reset them, or the boss is defeated, which will reset every mook's deed on a longer respawn timer as well as make any mooks that haven't been defeated surrender. I'll try and make it so that if any NPCs on the same team happen to eat and digest eachother it makes their deed use the normal short respawn timer, and potentially discourage or disallow them them from fatal digesting their own boss even if their boss is prey enabled

Other deed plans, I'll likely be adding in another "colony deed" variant (for both friendly and evil) that works slightly differently than the normal one with regards to rooms, I'm going to call it the "campsite marker" where it'll work like the deed but not need an enclosed area, instead just checking if the relevant object tags are within a radius of the marker with unbroken line of sight, it will probably also be slightly less lag intensive actually since the periodic checks for enclosed spaces becomes expensive on planets with lots of deeds. I think something like this will be particularly useful for making bandit camps

while likely not in scope this update, I'd like to delve into the quest system to detect any player made bandit encampments and tie quests generated by friendly NPCs into them, like say a kidnapping quest, one of your NPCs goes missing and they're scripted to stay permavored by one of the bandits until you rescue them, things like that.

Another thing is, I've been working on sprites for the "new" shopkeeper, Auri is one of my sonas, and I want them not to the face of the mod as much anymore, in addition the sprites for her as the shopkeeper were outdated in her design (see current Auri NPC) the NPC will still have the lines for the shop however will no longer be a permanent object in the hub for it.

I have had another OC in my head for a while who is actually a potion shop owner, and I'm much more comfortable making her far more flirtatious and kinky towards players, she's a bat demon mommy with a fat belly and fat tits and a fat ass you'll love her. And will also showcase the capabilities of the SBQ system with static objects some, as she's going to be an object that does OV and BV

There's also been some secret work done on some personal things, which are somewhat relevant to the evil deed. You'll see soon enough.

also I fixed some wonky stuff with the cat tower thats been in Auri's shop, I never let you buy it because it could only face right and did some weird things as its actually composed of multiple objects, and I'm gonna actually let people buy it to place it down themselves now since I fixed that all, yw.

Hey there! i saw a older version of the mod on github ( think it was 2.6-ish? ) and in the sprits i saw some kind of Mummy? wanted to ask if thats still a thing or was removed becaue it used the old vehicle code for starbound

that was a mistake of a git pull where I was attempting to help someone with their fork with an incomplete addon and it mistakenly merged the commit back to my source repo, the objects and items for it were inaccessible and remained incomplete for multiple years and were removed properly in the full 3.0 rewrite the mummy was never anything I was personally working on, and I haven’t seen or talked to who was originally trying to make it in a long time
