I’m all for criticism of a show I like if it makes logical sense. But I really have to take a stand against people just assuming that things like Ezra not yet knowing how Sabine nullified his sacrifice are just going to never be mentioned again, rather than setting up a big scene for later. Especially now that a second season has been confirmed, why would you think that’s not going to be part of it? And of course there’s the people acting like the crew knew Ray Stevenson was going to die as they piss and moan about Baylan not getting a proper ending, just like we also saw with Chadwick Boseman and Kevin Conroy. I get a little smile thinking of how frustrated these people must be that Greef Karga happened to last be seen in a perfectly fitting happy ending,

“War is primarily a game of skill. It is a Contest of mind matched against mind; tactics matched against tactics. But there is also an element of chance that is more suited to games of cards or dice. A wise tactician studies those games, as well, and learns from them. The first lesson of card games is that the cards cannot be played in random order. Only when laid down properly can victory be achieved.”

So, it’s like backgammon. That’s all you needed to say!

I heard that someone on the AV Club got copious amounts of shit for their reviews. The reviews apparently contained said critic yelling that the show wasn’t providing what they wanted and/or what they were demanding to see, not unlike Zach Handlen, I think you said it was with his reviews of season three of Fargo. And the parts of the review that weren’t focused on being a crybaby, supposedly had many errors, leading fans to query, “Did you even SEE this fucking show?” This seems to be a trend anymore as my brother and I have been putting up with the internet shitting all over the fourth season of True Detective, whilst we’ve loved it, just as we’ve loved the previous seasons of True Detective. The absence of Ezra learning what Sabine did strangely didn’t bother me, though with another season on the way, I am intrigued how such a scene would play out. I still don’t know how Ray died, beyond the statement of a sudden and brief illness, so how would the crew have been in a position to know. My brother didn’t even know Ray was dead until he finished the show when I brought up about Baylan likely needing to be Darrined, my brother asked, “Wait, he died?” I replied, “Yeah, back in May, yeah.” I reiterate sharing your stance on hoping Greef does not killed off and they just leave us on the happy ending, though if they’re set on killing him off, Like I said, I have my thoughts as to how they use Carl’s real death as a peaceful and respectful death for Greef, making the character one of the RARE Star Wars characters who dies a completely normal, mundane death. Concerning Kevin Conroy, devastated though I was to hear of his death, I’m holding onto the fact that he and Mark Hamill got to do The Killing Joke; Lord that was beautiful seeing that on a big screen getting to hear Kevin and Mark perform those scenes.
