The best compliment I can give this movie is that during the ifrst act, I never once felt any impatience for the legacy characters to show up, despite them having been the entire selling point. Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon have made these characters so engaging that their getting into college carries just as much emotional weight as whether they can beat a supervillain.

The only ppl that were not shown in trailers were Tobey, Andrew, and Daredevil although all were speculated to be in it. All the villians were shown. It was a crazy time of rumors tbh and the movie delivered! This is actually the second version of the movie. It did so well they added in deleted scenes and rereleased it in theatres.

2023-05-12 04:36:00 Well this movie just brought the tears back, again. Great reaction Jess👍616’s (main Marvel universe) Ned Leeds *spoiler alert* would eventually go on to become the villain known as, the Hobgoblin (After being kidnapped and brainwashed by the REAL Hobbie) and is later murdered. This next bit isn’t exactly related to the movie: In the same story Spidey is in Germany brawling with Wolverine in a graveyard , and a KGB agent that goes by the name of Charlie is involved who wants to die. During the fight, Peter’s giving everything he’s got and Logan just isn’t fazed, Pete’s starting to get nervous “I’m hitting him hard enough to wreck cars. Any ordinary man would be wonder-jello by now. I can’t get him to smiling.” At one point the fight is interrupted, and the area is turned to complete darkness. After fighting Wolverine, Spider-Man is understandably a bag of nerves. He sense’s someone approaching him from behind, thinking that it’s Wolverine coming back for more he swings round and hit’s him at full power! But to his horror, it wasn’t Logan.. it was Charlie. And that’s how Peter unwillingly helped a woman end her life, it’s so monumental that it overshadows Ned’s death earlier on. Understandably, Peter never goes back to Germany after this nightmare of a trip.
