It's really bizarre how this season is trying so hard to get us to not think about how Sam basically just said "Eh, fuck him" and threw Kevin to the wolves after his use to them was over. Because there's absolutely no way you can make that look good, and the best they can do is just ignore it. Like I said last time, Jared hated the way Sam was written this season, and wasn't shy about publicly saying so, and it's hard to blame him.

I think Sam just didn't think about it much himself. 'Everybody's dead, I'm messed up from everything, better run away from the supernatural without processing it all'. Sam is depressed, traumatised and has made some bad decisions. But he's still worthy. His love is still there for him to come and get.
